I dont even understand my own logic.

but, I'm christian, deal with it.

The fact that an all mighty force made the universe is more likley then

there was nothing, and nothing happened to nothing, which made nothing magicly explode and create everything, then everything changed, and they turned into dinosaurs. how does nothing explode, and then create life

Based on this, I'm going to assume you know little-to-nothing about the actual big bang theory. It's kind of funny because it wasn't even called the "big bang" theory until Christians who couldn't understand the theory (big surprised) tacked that name onto the actual cosmological theory. But, regardless, I'd suggest going onto YouTube or Wikipedia, or an online enyclopedia... go ANYWHERE and become more educated on the big bang theory. You'll quickly learn that it's not just a theory that states "nothing exploded into everything" and that it's much more complex. In fact, GOD is the theory that states "everything was created from nothing" NOT the big bang theory. Every religion that has deities states that the universe was created from nothing by someone who existed forever. Tell me which is HONESTLY more likely, God created everything from nothing for no reason (no apparent reason is listed), or the universe was created through an extremely long process involving so much science that your average person couldn't understand it. If you're scared that if you don't believe in God you'll go to hell, go ahead and give up believing on God because hell doesn't exist. And I don't want any crap about "BUT YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE" because I'm going to go ahead and say that it's a relatively safe bet that there's no such thing as hell or God or heaven. You know what God is? It's the incredibly crap last minute answer to a complex and difficult question. Go into school and take a test on physics and we'll see how much credit you'll get for saying "God wanted it to" when asked, "Why did the ball fall off of the table?"

(A)theism = Thinking that a god exists or not

Agnosticism = knowing that a god exists or not (essentially)

You can be an agnostic theist or an agnostic atheist' date=' but agnosticism is not a middle ground between the two.

I, myself am an "agnostic atheist", as I imagine most who say they are atheists, are.

There isn't a God, but if a reasonable amount of evidence was presented that proved there was, I'd have no trouble changing my views on the issue.

... now I dissolve back into inactivity.

[/quote']

My head hurts from reading your post.

"Agnosticism is the view that the truth value of certain claims—especially claims about the existence of any deity, but also other religious and metaphysical claims—is unknown or unknowable."

I was only slightly misinformed on the definition.

You're right I made a mistake in the way I worded it, but it doesn't change my conclusion.

Whether it's "I know" or "I don't know" or "It can't be known". It doesn't stand as a middle ground between "I believe" and "I don't believe".

Someone can still be both an agnostic and a(n) (a)theist.

Do you even know what you're typing? You saying that there is some giant immortal all seeing being doesn't make any sense whatsoever. There is no proof for something like that to even exist. It's, as of now, scientifically impossible.

I feel that he failed to address the fact that even though the Christian deity probably doesn't exist, that doesn't mean that any deity(ies) couldn't possibly exist. The universe is infinite and there is so much we don't know. Why would a person deny the possibility of a deity(ies) with powers that is beyond beyond their comprehension but still strongly believe that existence was created because the universe was all like 'Well, this shit is boring. I think i'll just blow some shit up now."?

so bassicly your saying that every religion besides the religion that is about not having a religon which is in no way religious is the only right religion?

How can there be an aethiest satanist

To be a satanist, means to belive in satan as basicly your god, while an aethiest belives that science and some other stuff, made the unvierse, meaning, they dont belive in heaven and Hell, they cant belive in satan in that case

No, because atheism isn't a religion.

Oh, and let's say there is a god. Well, then which religion is the true one? That's just one argument against God right there.

Uh, wrong. There is such thing as Atheistic Satanism. It's the worshiping of oneself and using the ideas of Satan as guidelines. It's commonly known as LaVeyan Satanism.
