Britney floated into the preparation room, She floated near Blaze and Lago, She heard them talking and just rolled her eyes, She remembered when she was as jittery Blaze and Lago were, She wasn't that overly excited anyway she just wanted to hurry up and get to her match. "Hey you, Don't worry about anything, Just use your strongest moves, Don't let anyone get into your head and if you up against someone stronger than you, Don't be intimidated, Show them that your the one that everyone has to be afraid of" . Britney told Lago, She was trying to cool him down to see if he'll be a bit less afraid, She was only trying to be the good person she always is.

Lago asked curiously as he was dazzled by her necklace and hair. "You must be powerful to stay so calm. Me on the other hand well....."

IC: Void needed the Tidal bell, that was all on his mind, "Tidal bell, Tidal bell, Tidal bell, Tidal bell..." He was walking aroung the city and decided to go to the preparation room, maybe someone there knew smoething about it. The second he walked in he accidentally steped on the tail of a Dratini. "oops." Void slowly lifted his foot up. "Excuse me young one." he said to the Dratini and he began to talk to random people in the preparation room on what they knew of a Tidal bell. Some have heard of it, some heard rumors that it is in areas, but the Guardians already checked those places, and some thought he was crazy, but no luck. But then again, who could trust a pokemon hidden under a cloak.

Thorn sat in the corner of the peparation room, looking round the room calmly. He eyes stopped when he saw a strange figure in a cloak, who had accidently stepped on a dratini's tail. The dratini was sat with a chimchar and an elekid had been interupted when training with his master. He looked up at the large screen on the main wall and saw that the next match was a Tropius vs a Sharpedo. Should be a good match he thought, standing up. He walked over to an empty spot the bench and sat next to the little chimchar. "What's your name little one?" he asked looking down on the chimchar. He then looked across at the little dratini who he could tell was nervous and wondered whether he was going to enter the tournament or not. "And who's your dratini fiend here?" he continued.

Blaze looked at Thorn and gave a confident smile. "Hiya! Name's Blaze! And well, my friend's name is Lago." Blaze looked at Thorn intently. "Wow, you must really be strong Mr., I watched your match, it was awesome! I'm hoping to become an Infernape one day and learn how to use awesome fighting moves. You're a Lucario so you must know a lot of strong fighting moves huh?" Blaze asked curiously. "I'm hoping of learning Close Combat later on since that was one of my father's strongest attacks!"

The changes made by Darkcrystal cannot be seen or heard, exept if you have been trained to notice it. No one in the RP has been trained at this yet so no one would notice anything- they would talk and look like any other normal pokemon.

 

IC:"My name is Thorn by the way, not Mr. Thorn, just Thorn," Thorn replied. "If you want to be good at fighting, it's not about whether you are strong, it's about whether you believe you are strong," Thorn said. "You should take that advise , Lago." He looked up on the intercom and saw that the battle was being delayed due to Wishcash.

 

~In Wishcash's Private Pool~

 

Wishcash floated gently on the water so his head could be seen above the water. A Shiftry was stood near the pool and it was dimly lit in the room, causing his features to look fierce in the light. "Is the tournament underway?" he asked. His voice sounded dark and it was like two people talking at once. An black glow emitted from him and power just leaked from his body. The glow disapeared, when Whichcash looked at him, and re-appeared when he looked away. Wishcash couldn't see the symptons as it takes a trained eye to see the truth but he was a user of Darkcrystal.

"Alrighty Thorn! Don't worry, I have full confident in myself, I'm going to give this tournament my 110%!" Blaze exclaimed proudly as he raised his fist into the air.

 

Lago still was feeling pretty nervous about the tournament, but was a little reassured by Thorn's words. "(Maybe I do need to believe in myself a little more....)" Lago thought to himself.

 

Blaze then heard of the delay. "Huh? I wonder what's that about? Thorn, do you have any idea?" Blaze asked curiously.

Void then got a terrible feeling down his spine, but got over it soon, he then noticed thorn talking to the young ones. "Excuse me, Thorn is it? I talked to you in the Medical room." Void walked up to him and grabbed his shoulder, "We need to talk, I must know something, something that you know." Void sensed something odd about Thorn the moment he saw him battle. But now he was sure, Thorn had been in contact with the Tidal bell at one point in his life, though he may not remember it, talking to him would allow Void to search his memories for the information he needed.

The display in the preparation room was showing the competitors of the tournament but it changed to a notice. "Sorry for the delay, would you like to proceed you battles. It seems Tropius is struggling to fit into the current arena, we will proceed with his battle when the main arena is ready, it was to be ready for tomorow in the quarter finals but it will be open early. In the meantime we would like to proceed with the battle of..... Blaze the Chimchar vs. Bloom the Rosselia. Could both of the contestants, report to each preparation room please. Thank you!" The message finished and Thorn looked at Blaze. "Looks like its your turn, don't forget my advice," Thorn said to the exited little Chimchar. He then turned to the strange person in the black cloak. "And why should I trust you?" Thorn replied standing to his full height.

 

Machamp , the current head coach of the battles, walked over to Vanilla. "The current arena isn't fit for you too fight in so we will have to open it imeidiatly and start off with the quarter finals early. But first we must finish the battles in the current arena, then we will have you fight your opponent at the start of the quarter finals." Machamp didn't expect a pokemon as big as Vanilla to enter.

[Proto]

"No.... would you think I would be in this tournament if I would be hurt like that?" Rad then pushed himself up and began spinning his arms wildly to power himself up before finally a spark appeared. "Okay..... I'm ready" He then turned to the Chimchar "My name is Rad, pleased to meet you." He then heard the Chimchar's name called "Okay.... um Blaze was it? I do hope that you don't get knocked out in the first round, I'd hate to see such a waste in character, especially from a Chimchar."

 

He then walked away and began spinning his arms to create electricity again, he shouldn't be talking to those people, what was the point of speaking with someone you would likely fight later? None.

Blaze overheard the announcements and quickly jumped into the air out of excitement. "WHOOHOO!!!! It's my turn!" Blaze landed onto his feet and looked at Thorn. "Got it! Thanks a lot Thorn! Wish me luck Lago!" Blaze exclaimed as he ran towards the arena.

 

"I hope Blaze does well." Lago stated to himself.

 

At the stadium, Blaze was set to go as well as his opponent Bloom. "Good luck to ya!" Blaze stated.

 

"Humph, I don't need luck. I'm going to win this with flying colors. You might as well give up kid."

 

"What?! No way I'm giving up!"

 

As the bell rung, the battle has officially begun. Bloom jumped up into the air. "Take this!" Bloom used Vine Whip and attacked Blaze's feet. Blaze was jumping side to side to dodge the Vine Whip, but one of the vines got his foot. "Aw!" Bloom then held Blaze in the air and swung him around wildly. "Hahahaha! Give up yet boy?!"

 

"Arrg! No way!" Blaze then grabbed the vine and bit into it. "Ah!" Bloom retracted the Vine Whip and Blaze fell to the ground. Luckily he landed on his feet safely. "Why you little- I'm going to destroy you now!" Bloom then used Leaf Storm, a powerful grass-type move. "Whoa!" Blaze once again tried dodging side to side but there were so many leaves flying towards him at once. "Wait I almost forgot!" Blaze then used Dig to get underground. The Leaf Storm ended and it left Bloom confused. "Now where could he be?!"

 

"Over here!" Blaze bolted out of the ground and started to use Flame Wheel. "What?! How did you get behind me?!" The Flame Wheel successfully hit Bloom which send her back quite a distance. Blaze landed onto the ground and watched as Bloom struggled to get back on her feet. "How?.... How did you got behind me?!"

 

"Easy, I can use Dig, and I used it to escape the Leaf Storm!" Blaze responded confidently. "Arrg, I won't allow you to beat me!!!!" In her fit of rage, Bloom used Sunny Day to attempt a Solar Beam, but what she forgot was that Sunny Day increases the power of fire-type moves. "Hey thanks a lot Lady!" Blaze charged up a large Flamethrower and released it onto Bloom.

 

"AHHHH!!!!!!" Bloom fell to the ground, her eyes showing the swirly pattern. "I.... can't lose.... here...."

 

"BLOOM THE ROSSELIA IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! THE WINNER IS BLAZE THE CHIMCHAR!!!!" the Announcer stated as the crowd went wild for another great battle. Blaze jumped up and down in excitement. "Yeah! I did it!" Blaze quickly ran back into the preperation room. Bloom was carried away on a stretcher by two Machokes.

 

"Hey Lago! You saw that!"

 

"Yeah! Congratulations Blaze!"

After the announcements of the next battle, Void had responded to Thorn's question. "Because, I am a member of the Guardians of the Great Library, and am looking for answers, so my authority outranks yours but I don't want to put it in those terms." Void had then coughed a little bit and held his Odd Incense to his hood and took a deep breath to suck some in. his coughing stopped. "I am not old mind you, but I have a condition in which I need this Incense on me at all times. Anyway, I just need to talk to you, for, I feel that at one point in your life after the eternal Rest of the Great Lugia, you came across a certain bell, the Tidal Bell."

"I feel great after that battle just now! I'm ready for my next battle already!" Blaze exclaimed to Lago. "Hehe, alright, alright, Blaze calm down. You just finished your battle. It's gonna be awhile before you get to battle again. Anyways, here's some water." Lago handed Blaze a water bottle.

 

"Thanks a lot Lago." Blaze opened the bottle and started to drink. "I hope I can win in the first round too. It would be really depressing if I didn't...." Lago said quietly.

 

"Hey Lago, don't worry about it buddy. I'm sure you'll do great! Just believe in yourself and try your best! I'm sure you can do it, trust me!" Blaze reassured Lago while giving him a thumbs up.

 

"Thanks for the pep talk Blaze. Yeah, I do believe."

 

"Good, now let's see the next battle!"

[Raiza]

"I know that the Tidal Bell has something to do with Lugia and that's all I know," Thorn said. He looked up at the bright display screen to see that Blaze had won. "He might have some potential...." Thorn muttered under his breath. Thorn turned around and walked towards the exit, he didn't like attention and hated to be interviewed. A quiet high pitched sound indicated that the speakers were switched on and an anouncement was about to be said. "The main hall- The Sky Arena is being readied as we speak, but the next to battle are... Lago the dratini vs. Edge the Scyther. Could these pokemon please report to the preparation room please, thank you!" As Thorn was stood in the exit he stoppped and turneed around. "Lago don't forget my advice and you will win, I'm sure," he then turned around and walked out the exit.

As the announcements were made, Lago immediately became anxious. "Oh man it's my turn...." Lago said nervously. Lago then heard what Thorn had told him and Lago nodded. "Hey Lago, I know you can do this. I believe in you buddy, now go out there and show the audience what you got!" Blaze exclaimed. "Right!" Lago quickly made his way to the stadium.

 

Lago entered the stadium and stared at his opponent nervously. "{Gulp} Best of luck to you Sir...." Lago hesitantly said. "Hehe, you're nervous Kid? Oh don't worry, I won't hurt you too bad." Edge responded with a devious tone.

 

"{Gulp}" Lago's heart was beating like crazy as they were seconds away from the beginning. Suddenly the bell rung and Edge quickly took off into the air with great haste. "Hehehe, try to catch me here Kid!"

 

"Alright Lago, believe in yourself and everything will be alright...." Lago tried to reassure himself. "Fine if you won't make the first move then I will!" Edge charged at Lago with a Quick Attack which successfully hit, causing Lago to fly back. "Oof...."

 

"C'mon Kid is that all you got?! HAHHH!!!! TAKE THIS!!!!" Edge charged at Lago once again with full speed and attacked Lago with X-Scissor. But Edge didn't stop there. He continued to slash at Lago over and over again. Lago couldn't fight back. Blaze sat on the bench watching the battle with his fists clutched tightly. "C'mon Lago you can do it.... I know you can...."

 

Things were looking grim for Lago, but suddenly, his tail was covered by water. "Huh? What's this?" Edge asked himself in confusion. Lago retaliated with an Aqua Tail, sending Edge backwards and Lago landing on the ground. Lago struggled to get back up. "{Panting} I... can't give... up...." Lago was breathing heavily as he tried to regain his composture.

 

"Humph, you got guts kid I'll tell ya that. But I'm not through with you yet!" Edge used Silver Wind and blasted Lago into the sky. "HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT???!!!" In a lucky turn of events, Lago fell down onto Edge. {BOOM!!!} "Ugh.... get off of me...." Lago jumped back. "Now's my chance...." Fire began to form at Lago's mouth. Lago then let out a Flamethrower which was a direct hit. "AHHH!!!!" Edge fell to the ground.

 

"EDGE THE SCYTHER IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! THE WINNER IS LAGO THE DRATINI!!!!" The crowd once again let out loud noises and applauds. They were amazed by how Lago was able to survive the barrages of attacks. Lago gave a relieved smile as he fell to the floor. "I.... I really did it..... I actually.... won...." Lago then passed out. Both Lago and Edge were taken away by a stretcher. Blaze gave a sigh of relief. "Well, that wasn't really what I hoped for, but Lago did it, he won...."

Void teleported back in front of Thorn. "Listen Thorn, smell this Incense, That is all you have to do, and I will leave you alone. What Thorn didn't know is that smelling in the Incense, a non-guardian or a non-psychic type pokemon would open their mind greatly and Allow Void to discover where he has been that the Tidal bell will be. "That's all and you won't ever have to deal with me or my ways again." Void needed the information to awaken Lugia, the holy Bird of Knowledge. "Please, it is for the sake of the Guardians as well as Pokemon kind. You will be doing the world a great favor, Thorn."

[Raiza]

"And when did the world do a favor for me?" he replied pushing Void out of the way and walking out of the exit. "There is a 1 hour interval between the transfer to the Sky Arena, if you beat me there I'll sniff your incense." Thorn said walking into the market for something to eat. He walked past several stores and saw many interesting items but none were any use to him.

 

~Wishcash's Private Pool~

 

Wishcash floated to the top of the water so that Shiftry could see him. "There has been a 1 hour interval as you requested. There will be no one there to stop you from achieving your goal," Wishcash said darkly. His vioce had changed as well, and the water around him shone purple. Darkcrystal had taken over him too. Shiftry replied; "We shall first clense the contestants as they have proven to be strong and will be good allies." When Shiftry said "clense" he meant to be corrupted with Darkcrystal.

"very well then." Void walked through the town, angered that Thorn would not listen. "Damn him." Void smacked is fist against the wall of the Colosseum. "I'll beat him, I'll beat him alright, for the sake of the world and my master I WILL DEFEAT THE LUCARIO THAT GOES BY THORN!" Void disliked the idea of him being enraged, he doesn't do it often as most people try to not get on a guardians nerves, but that Lucario was much different, he had no respect for the Guardians, hell if Void wanted he could've had the police all over Thorn! But no, that wouldn't be right, it'd just slander the name of the Guardians. "I swear Thorn, you shall see what a guardian can do!" Void violently turned around with his cloak still hiding him but flowing in the wind. "Blasted Lucario."

Lago awoke inside of the medical center where he had just finished being treated. "Ugh.... where am I?.... I won didn't I?...." Lago was still dazed by the injuries he suffered from the battle.

 

"Hey Kid." Lago looked over to see Edge next to him wrapped up in bandages. "Mr. Edge? How are you doing?" Lago asked concerningly even though Edge treated him badly during the battle. "Wow Kid.... You worry about my health even after the way I treated you? You didn't suffer any brain damage did you?"

 

"No.... At least I don't think so.... I'm sure you were just too pumped up is all.... I never like holding grudges against anyone, it's just not the kind of person I am.... Well, I'm glad you're doing alright Mr. Edge."

 

"Heh, you're alright Kid. I guess I misjudged you for just another pokemon looking for his fifteen minutes of fame.... But I can see know you have a different purpose.... So tell me, why are you doing this?....."

 

"Well, like the tournament stated, the chosen few in this contest will have a chance to defeat Arceus.... I want to help this beautiful world that we live in.... I don't want to see anymore bloodshed....."

 

"Heh, pretty noble of you to say that Kid.... Most people join this tournament to get famous, but I guess you're an exception.... Not bad Kid, not bad....."

 

"Will you two be quiet! I'm trying to sleep!" Bloom stated from the next bed.

Void entered the medical room, why? Because he broke his pinky when slamming his fist into the wall... yeah... pretty sad, I know. There he saw the Dratini he had stepped on before. "Oh it is you!" Void said to Dratini as a Chansey was looking at his hand. "I am sorry for stepping on your tail." THe chansey tucked on Void's cloak, "You have to remove your cloak sir,"

"EXCUSE ME!? I am a member of the Guardians! It is forbiden to reveal our race in front of non trusted ones or non members!"

"Well I'm sorry sir but you have to." Void was mad and had only one choice,

"Fine, draw the curtains then fix it." Curtains covered Void so no one could see him except for the nurse.

"Oh hello Mr." Lago responded to Void. "(I wonder just what kind of pokemon is he? And what is this about an Order? Wow, there sure are a lot of mysterious things in this world.....)" Lago thought to himself. "Hey Kid are you alright?" Edge asked concerningly as he noticed Lago dozing off.

 

"Huh? Oh I'm fine, I was just daydreaming again hehe.... That's kinda a habit of mind, sorry...." Lago explained while giving a nervous smile. "What do you gotta be sorry about? Sheesh Kid, you sure are something you know that?....." Edge stated. "HEY! I CAN'T SLEEP WITH ALL OF THIS RACKET!!!! NURSE!!!! LET ME CHANGE INTO A DIFFERENT ROOM!!!!" Bloom yelled out in anger. "Sheesh, what's the matter with her?" Edge asked. "Hehe.... (She's kinda scary....)" Lago thought to himself.

 

A nurse Chansey walked in and quickly sedated Bloom with a shot. "There, she shouldn't be so much of a disturbance now." The nurse then walked off. "Well that took care of that." Edge spoked quietly.

 

"I wonder if I can win the other rounds?...."

 

"Hey Kid, don't sweat it. Just do your best and no matter if you win or lose, just enjoy yourself."

 

"Yeah you're right! I'll give it my all!"

Walking throught he market town, Thorn had settled on a snack of healthy fruit. There were about then minutes left of the 1 hour interval now and the hospital was asking it's patience to leave so that the next arena could be entered. "Could all tournament contestants and any tournament titcket holders please report to Cloud Square, thank you"

 

 

Thorn had been to Cloud Square before and knew that it was directly infront of the Sky Arena. He walked back throught the market, back the way he had come and wasn't far from cloud square, but he thought about the young dratini. Instead of heading stright to cloud square, he entered the medical wing and a blissey was stood behind the registration desk. "Where is Lago the draitini?" he asked."Follow me," the blissey said jumping off of her chair and walking down a corridor filled with injured pokemon. He came to a corner and saw an unconcious roselia laying on her bed with a scyther next to him. Lago was talking to the scyther and realised that it was his opponent in the arena. Thorn approached Lago "Are you feeling ok?" he asked. "Because the quarter finals are starting soon and you got a place in them." He then turned around and saw a closed curtain with soomeone inside. He recognised the voice as Void's voice but didb't want him to know that he was here.
