Online dating

Alright so here's a question to you guys that date. If you were on some social networking site and you got a friend requests from oh the girl that plays Carlie for example and she starts flirting with you. She turns out to be the actual person and she asks you out. This can be any actress/actor. How would you react at first, what would you do after you learned, would you say yes, etc etc

Considering it being an actress/wealthy person, meeting said person dramatically increases. So, you assuming you return the feelings in a Genuine manner, why not?

Compare the probability of an actual actor/actress who you have never met randomly contacting you and expressing feelings for you to the probability of a troll impersonating an actual actor/actress and contacting you to troll you.

I know the probability but they can use a DS or pics for proof thing. Like The Carly girl can write the guy's name on her hand and take a pic. A webcam would be good as well but don't use chat roulette because they can use a GIF image

Why would I ever need to even click on an online dating site?

Because apparently it's common along the population YCM.

Actually it isn't. Nor was JxA trying to say that. I'm pretty sure she understands that it isn't taken well in many places, but brought a theoretical (and very real circumstance as MOST celebrities do have MSN/AIM for personal use) where meeting said person is far more likely. And then get your opinion on it knowing that meeting the person is possible without effort on either persons part.

We just never know who really is there. You may be online dating a geek. It can be unreliable and unexpected

Webcam (live not like how people on Chatroullette switch it to GIF images as it's easy to tell), Voice Chat, Phones, and all that = ???

It's not as bad as you say. The main issue is meeting. And she has a BF irl, please don't take such things out of context.

That's stupid.

That's not at all what online dating is. That being said, if it was some famous actor I'd assume it not impossible for them to fly out to NYC to see me or meet me somewhere, so I doubt it'd stay as 'online dating' for very long. However, as Crab said, it's significantly more likely it's some random troll trying to troll me.
