Having nothing good to say about online dating, I'll add that Dragonball Z was awesome even if everyone was named after vegetables. Come on, we were what, 10 at the time? I know I loved watching cities blow up back then.

On-topic though, I think the extra effort to meet someone in real life is always worth it over an online thing. From a personal perspective, I regard virtual relationships as unfulfilling and little more than a temporary deception, but having never been through the actual thing, I won't argue too much. I do know it saddens me a little when I see people talking like online involvements make them genuinely happy, because it means they've never lived the real thing. "My online bf/gf" is a concept I'll never really understand. :/

Alright so here's a question to you guys that date. If you were on some social networking site and you got a friend requests from oh the girl that plays Carlie for example and she starts flirting with you. She turns out to be the actual person and she asks you out. This can be any actress/actor. How would you react at first' date=' what would you do after you learned, would you say yes, etc etc

Well, the only situation I would online date is if I had a gf (which I don't) that had moved across the country, then I could talk to her through a webcam or through emails. I wouldn't move across the country to date some celebrity (plus, who even wants to date one??? I don't)

This.

I may be going through an LDR right now, but I'd never refer to her as my "online" GF. The idea of that is pure silly. Because it denotes that it will remain purely online, which is yeah... Nty. But since I have plans to move to the UK and she might be able to visit during my birthday (which is still kind of a break during her school year), it's not an online thing.
