krlsmnk
These are some very high level Dragon Synchros meant to be run in Dragon-only decks. They are all realistic and balanced, and the artwork was all done by myself via Photoshop. Sub-Zero Dragon 1 Dragon-type Tuner + 1 non-tuner Dragon-type Monster When this card is Synchro Summoned, destroy all cards on your side of the field, except this card. If this card is removed from the field, send up to the same number of cards you destroyed by this effect from your opponent's hand or field to the graveyard. Supernova Dragon 1 Dragon-type Tuner + 1 non-tuner Dragon-type Monster You can tribute this card to negate the effect of another monster and remove it from play. If you negate an effect in this way, send all monsters on the field to the graveyard, and then Special Summon one Dragon-type monster from your graveyard, except this card. Petalstorm Dragon 1 Dragon-type Tuner + 1 non-tuner Dragon-type Monster 1 Dragon-type Tuner + 1 non-tuner Dragon-type Monster Every time a card is destroyed, put one Storm Counter on this card (max 4). When this card is removed from the field, inflict 200 Damage to your opponent for every Dragon-Type monster in your graveyard times the number of Storm Counters on this card. Crystal Dragon 1 Dragon-type Tuner + 1 non-tuner Dragon-type Monster This card gains the effect of the higher level monster used to Synchro Summon it, in addition to its own effect. Dragon type monsters cannot be selected as the target(s) of a card controlled by your opponent, and are uneffected by Trap cards. Give me some feedback. Tell me what you think. Please note these all require ONLY 1 non-tuner monster, making them harder to summon, despite their powerful effects. Please Check my TCG/OCG/Whatever wording, and tell me if there are any corrections I should make. Thanks!
lolwhy
The artwork was done by someone else(first 3 images a.k.a. Red Dragon Archfiend, Stardust Dragon, and Black Rose Dragon), you just inverted the colors. Petalstorm Dragon Grammar: Every time a card is destroyed, put one Storm Counter on this card. When this card is removed from the field, inflict 300 Damage to your opponent for each Dragon-Type monster in your graveyard times the number of Storm Counters on this card. There's no max number of Counters? If not this is OP'd. 10 counters x 3 Dragons = 9000 damage. Not a bad concept though. Review the rest later, minimal Card Grammar errors.
krlsmnk
lolwhy: I did not just invert the colors. There are new backgrounds, and completely new colors. Why dont you learn what the hell you're talking about before bashing someone else's work. Yes, I did use Red Dragon Archfiend-Assault Mode, Stardust Dragon, and Black Rose Dragon as the base outline for my cards... big funking deal. I'm trying to keep the art style the same... so why not use art FROM the cards?? If you think I just inverted the colors... you're an idiot. Let's see YOU try to do what I did. Thanks for the post, though. I will redo Petalstorm Dragon so his counter limit is 4, and so each counter only does 200 dmg per dragon. Now you will need all 4 counters and 10 or more dragons in grave to get a killshot when it's destroyed. Thnx Karl
mljolner12
There nice cards... You have a point just use different colors for real YGO pictures to make them your style and while staying within the YGO card art style. Although, Petalstorm Dragon is Op'd up some. Nice cards 9/
Sirce
Krlsmnk, don't get to personal when someone criticizes your work and if someone commented something you found unnecessary and rude just ignore it. Anyway..., I like the color outlining of Supernova Dragon looks pretty epic 9/10.
lolwhy
I don't know why you got so defensive. UMAD? Obviously. I can also flip the image 180 degrees and recolor/invert colors. The only card you added a background for is "Supernova Dragon" other than that, I don't see much of the same original cards. If you want me to critique the images, I will. They're horrible and unoriginal. Why is it a big deal? From you: "...the artwork was all done by myself via Photoshop". ORLY? D0od I swear, I saw these images somewhere! My turn to bash you instead of the cards. Why don't you learn what the hell you write before bashing someone else. z0mg. I don't get why you get so butt-hurt for something that can take less than an hour to do. If you're gonna try to keep to the same art-style, go look for pics not from the original TCG/OCG and edit. So tell me, are your cards still realistic if you edited cards that already exist? Konami would laugh at your ass. Nevertheless, great work with the altered images. mljolner12
I agree with mechaluber, Supernova Dragon has an epic outlining. :)
krlsmnk
"I can also flip the image 180 degrees and recolor/invert colors. The only card you added a background for is "Supernova Dragon" other than that, I don't see much of the same original cards." I put a new background on Petalstorm Dragon, too. I altered the background on RDA-AM other than just the colors. Besides just "changing colors" I redid the outlining, bumped up the highlights and brought out the shadows. You're probably not an artist but w/e its cool. There's a lot more in the images than you'd think. They've been compressed so some of it is hard to see, but it's there. Thanks everyone so far for your support. Keep the comments coming!
lolwhy
Yeah, you're right -- I'm not a graphic designer, thought I am an artist(not one of images and the sort). But I fixed the rest of your Card Grammar in apologies:Sub-Zero DragonWhen this card is Synchro Summoned, destroy all cards on your side of the field, except this card. If this card is removed from the field, send up to the same number of cards you destroyed by this effect from your opponent's hand or field to the Graveyard. I still don't know what you mean by "hand or field", do you select which gets burned? Supernova DragonYou can Tribute this card to negate the effect of another monster and remove it from play. If you negate an effect in this way, send all monsters on the field to the Graveyard, and then Special Summon 1 Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard, except this card. Crystal Dragon This card gains the effect of the higher level monster used to Synchro Summon it, in addition to its own effect. Dragon-Type monsters cannot be selected as target(s) of a card controlled by your opponent, and are unaffected by Trap cards. Minimal Card Grammar errors. krlsmnk
Thanks for the checking. I'll go in and fix them. The wording on Sub-Zero actually came from some other card that's currently in-game. I cannot remember its name right now. When the card says "Send from your opponent's hand or field to the graveyard..." You can select and choose kind of like an either/or. You can take some from both places or all from either. Some people like hand burn, some people like field burn, so I gave them the option of doing both.
