-Griffin
Acolyte looks a bit insane for synchs and stuffs. I'm sure some Plasma build could exploit it and Galdo. What spells do you expect to see in this? Burden? Solid? Wasn't there a LIGHT one for restoring LPs? Link to comment
Skarlet
Acolyte is a bit nutty when it comes to Synchros, should I add a clause that prevents more then 1 being used in the same Synchro Summon? I didn't do this originally because yes, you get a single cheap Synchro, but in a deck dedicated to this Archtype, Synchros are gonna be few and far between. As for the continuous cards, all of the ones you mensioned, and even "7" would be playable here. Link to comment
-Griffin
Well, it just seems that most cont. magics you'd use only affect ATK/DEF, which is a bit of a shame, since I personally would find it more interesting if there were some other options. Like Tier 1 Crystal Beasts really needed Palareth! (In all seriousness, 3 costless negates a turn is broken.) Link to comment
Skarlet
Good point. Editing Palareth, would it be better if for it's negating effect you had to send a Continuous Spell Card to the Graveyard? Link to comment
-Griffin
Still, IMO, probably too powerful, but an improvement at least Link to comment
Skarlet
Consider Palareth, with the proposed nerf, against even say Herald of Perfection. Easier to Summon, yes...maybe. However, less targets really, and with Herald, monsers are an essential part of a deck, Fairies are decent too. Hower Palareth requires you specificially to run continuous spells, which you'd need to play over a lot of the more 'needed' Spell cards. Link to comment
-Griffin
Point, but it's still extremely easy to Summon and turns a minimum of 3 cards into costless Solemns, not to mention it has a much bigger beatstick body than Herald. It's probably alright now though, so I'll leave the subject until, if ever, it gets tested. Link to comment
