Sylphiend
This is my first card and I tried my best, so here it is: http://s742.photobucket.com/albums/xx61/Sylphiend/?action=view¤t=untitled2.jpg The effect might be hard to read, but I typed it underneath: "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 1 level 6 (or higher) monster on your side of the field. Subract the ATK of that monster from your Life Points. When this card is summoned, randomly choose 3 cards from your opponent's hand. Add up the ATK's of those cards, the sum becomes the ATK of this card and half of the sum becomes the DEF of this card. This card cannot attack your opponent's Life Points directly. After your third turn after summoning this card, this card is automatically removed from play." awesomeuser
Nice idea for a card, a tad overpowered but the drawbacks balance it out. "Summon" is uppercase."Tribute" is uppercase."Automatically" is unnecessary in the last sentence.DIVINE is not a real Attribute. 6.5/
Clair
Very creative for a first card! And awesomeuser, the new tournament-legal Obelisk the Tormentor begs to differ with your opinion on DIVINE attributes. I think the most useful feature of this card is simply the ability to look at three cards in your opponent's hand. You get to see what they plan to play next, and you can prepare for it. What happens if you select a Spell or Trap? IMO, this card has too many drawbacks. Tributing a Level 6 star monster and the three turn limit is too much, IMO. I like the Life Point drawback and the attack restriction though. The pic is overused. I've seen it 9001 times, I swear. Good.
Sylphiend
I picked out "Divine" because I didn't wanted Light or Dark, I wanted something, like, inbetween those two...
Clair
I picked out "Divine" because I didn't wanted Light or Dark' date=' I wanted something, like, inbetween those two...[/quote'] Don't worry, DIVINE is now classified as a legal Attribute, iirc. Sylphiend
As an answer to Clair's question: you cannot look at your opponent's cards, you just pcik out 3 randomly, without seeing what the cards are.And since spell and trap cards don't have any ATK points, they can be counted as 0. Tunerwizard
The only reason i think that DIVINE attributes are not so great is because someone would have to make a card almost exactly as powerful as the 3 Egyptian Gods, hence the Attribute. Pretty good card though, most flaws pointed out, I've seen that pic probably 6398 times XD Just like everyone else!
Zextra
It's not a bad idea. Pretty good effect (OP'ed a little, but thats ok). Try to avoid using DIVINE, but that's no big deal. Still, nice try! :D
