Duel Academy: Destiny's End - Arc 2 - The Approaching Darkness [Started/Accepting via OOC]

"Oh no don't applogize. It's good to hear about people's lives sometimes, hehe." Kay reassured Akira. "Anyways, I haven't check my roomate slip yet. Let me see who I got as a rommate." Kay checked his slip and coincidentally, it was Akira. "Hey Akira, it looks like me and you are gonna be roomates. Kinda strange that both you and me can see duel spirits and now we're roomates. Well at least I have a roomate that I know already." Kay said with a friendly smile.

[Zextra]

"Yeah, that way we can talk to our duel spirits freely, rather than acting like total freaks" Akira said while stifling a laugh. "Anyways, I see you run Gladiator Beasts pretty well, seeing the way you crushed Mr. Yami. So, when did you first discover your duel spirit?" Akira asked, now quite interested after his "adventure" with Zero earlier. "Anyways, we'd better get to our dorm and unpack" Akira said as he stood up.

[Barian Warlord]

Kotaro was kinda annoyed that the chancellor mispronounced his name, though he got his room assignment and luckily do to the low number of reds he got his own room. Kotaro hoped whoever the dorm head was would give him permission to use an empty room in the dorm to use as his lab, if he wasn't able to do that then he would have to build it himself, though it wouldn't take to long it would be an annoyance, he once again looked through his deck, he then decided to modify his jacket into a coat to suit his style more.

"Oh yeah let's go. I heard there's gonna be a big feast tonight! I wonder who the head of the Obelisk Blue Boys' Dorm?" Kay asked curiously. "Anyways, let's forget about that for right now. Okay, so the story of when I began seeing duel spirits. Well, back then when I was about ten, I dueled a rather mysterious person dressed in a black cloak. I couldn't see his face however. Anyways, after a long duel, I eventually lost. After that, BAM! I guess I just fell unconscious. When I awoke, I remember my body felt really painful as if thousands of sharp needles were being poked through my skin. The feeling soon went away however. From then on, I remember I can hear the cards talking to me and soon I was able to see duel spirits. How about you Akira, do you have a story?" Kay asked.

[Zextra]

"Oh. My story isn't nearly as exciting. My brother gave me my Crepuscule Aurora Dragon wcard when I was 5. The moment I touched it, it manifested into a spirit - it almost gave me a heart attack the first several times. Anyways, it has nothing to do with my dueling, though. I only started dueling half a year ago." Akira felt a jolt, and his 3 spirits came out. "Oh, right. Kay, let me introduce you to my Crepuscule Aurora Dragon, Blackwing Armor Master, and my Blackwing - Twister the Infernal Hellstorm" Akira pointed at the 3 beings that had appeared from his deck.

When the black mist started to clear up, Peter heard the anouncements. The red lines in his eyes started to fade but they where still there. Whatever that mist was, it was gone. Peter slowly started to breathe normally. He couldn't walk yet, but at this rate it'll only be a minute or two before Peter staggers of to his slifer red dorm. After a minuete, Peter found himself marching to the slifer red dorms. It didn't take to long but Peter had a small bit of energy when he got there. He hopped onto his usual bed to rest.

Hayden runs up to Chancellor Yami and says, "Chancellor, for some reason i was never assigned a room. MY name is Hayden Ondic. I wasn't here for the announcements. I apologize for not being here but i was just going around at the academy for a little bit getting used to getting around. SO i would like to know where i would like to be staying this sememster, if it is no problem for you, Chancellor sir." As Hayden stood there in anticipation to where he might be put in the academy, many ideas ran through his head, but he kept his ears open for the Chancellor's decision.

"Well none the least it's amazing to have duel spirits at all." Kay stated. "Hey there you three." Kay greeted Akira's duel spirits with a friendly smile and a wave of his hand. "Wow, I can tell that your duel spirits are powerful. The aura around them. You really have a strong bond with your deck huh?" Kay said. "Well I would like you guys to meet my duel spirits. Say hello to Gladiator Beast Octavius, Leo Warrior LV7, and Beast King Barbaros. These guys have been with me for a long time, and they have helped me through all types of different situations." Kay said.

[Zextra]

"Hello. Nice to meet you all" Akira said to Kay's three spirits, Barbaros growled, Octavius and Leo Warrior LV 7 waved. Akira knew from the start that Kay was different than any normal duelist. With the powerful aura he felt emitting from Kay and his spirits, it's surprising that Kay wasn't a guardian. "Anyways, maybe we can share strategies later". Akira said as he started waling to the dorm.

"Hehe, I'm hoping to duel you later." Kay said with a friendly smile. "Kay, I was hoping to take a stroll around the campus. May I?" Leo Warrior LV7 asked. "Sure go right ahead. I'll just be unpacking anyways you duel spirits may as well go enjoy yourselves. How about you two? Are you going?" Kay asked Octavius and Barbaros. "I need to spread my wings a little, so yeah, I'm gonna be taking a little flying trip." Octavius responded. "I just want to find a tough opponent to spar with! Hahaha!" Barbaros said firmly. "Eh.... don't mind Barbaros.... He's from some kind of beast-warrior tribe...." Kay whispered to Akira.

"Sure, anytime." Akira said in response to Kay's duel request. Then, he pointed at his spirits, who seemed restless. "You guys can go, too" Akira motioned to his spirits. His spirits took off and followed Kay's. Then, Akira and Kay reached their dorm. "Wow! This is sweet!" Akira declared in awe. He looked around at the pristine room. "This is better than a 5-star hotel!" Akira exclaimed, upon seeing the "dorm" they would reside in for the rest of the year. Akira put his baggages down on his bed and started to unpack, with Kay following.

"Well Hayden. Let me see.... Ah yes. You are in Ra Yellow." Chancellor Yami explained "Now. If you'll excuse me. I must prepare for a little..... surprise." Chancellor Yami stated as he walked over to Akarui. "Who will we start the year opening duel with Chancellor?" Akarui asked. "In my recommendation, it should be Akarui against Akira." Akarui recommended. "Yes. Obelisk Blues facing off..." Chancellor Yami stated "Very well." Chancellor Yami stated as he walked back up to the stage and grabbed the microphone "Attention new students. We would like to start the new school year with a duel. One of our newer students against one of our older students." Chancellor Yami explained.

 

Kid Akarui was interested with Chancellor Yami's statement "This should be good...." Kid Akarui stated.

 

Underground. In a large building. A few men were sitting at a large table. In the darkness they could not be seen "It is just about time...." one of them stated "Yes.... we must commence." another stated "Very well." the first stated as he raised his hand and snapped his fingers....

 

Back at Duel Academy. Someone in the Slifer Red dorms eyes glowed red for a slight second as he smirked "Heh." he stated.

 

Back at Dark Academy. One of the men was chuckling "Heheheheh. With Yakori on our side. Nothing can stop us." the man chuckled.

Peter was having a nightmare, Peter has had this one so many times (since his parents disapearence) that he wasn't scared from the large creature that chased him. But it still kept saying how it ate his parents and how weak his father was. It kept describing what it did... This still hurt Peter. He lay cold and still untill something new has happend to one of Peters cards.

 

"Blood Dragon Spawn of Dark Realm" started glowing from under the bed. It felt his sarrow, his sadness. It started reaching out, Further and further. A long, red dagon arm poked out from under the bed. Blood Dragon Spawn (of Dark Realm), was coming to the real world to awaken Peter.

 

"Peter,... Peter!" Blood Spawn Dragon snarled as he shook Peter with both claws.

[Big Bad Pennar]

Suddenly, The door opened and Avirre was slipped inside the Nurse's Office. At least 1 hour and 45 minutes later, Avirre ran out of the office screaming like bloody murder "OH MY F*CKING GOD THERE ARE SHARP POINTY THINGS IN THERE!!! F*CKING F*GGOTS!" Running back to the gym.

 

after a few minutes, Her throat hurt and she was more exhausted than she ever was. She then walked to Chancellor Yami and asked "Is there a Hoodie Uniform, cause i'm very photosensitive"

Peter's head hurt, he murmured as he was awoken. He slowly opened his eyes to Blood Spawn Dragon. Peter jumped up. He couldn't do anything. Peter was frozen in place. The dragon released Peter and stood there. Peter's eyes were locked on the dragon's. Peter slowly put his hand out. He grinned as his hand pat the dragon's forehead.

 

"Welcome to the real world, Buddy!" Peter said as he rubbed its forehead.

 

"Peter,... I am here to guide you. Guide you, and to help you with your power!" Blood Spawn Dragon snarled. Peters eyed widened and his grin faded.

 

"Powers?..." Peter was confused. He doesn't have any powers, so he can feel energy. Well, a few people he knows can see duel-spirits, That was way cooler than what peter had.

[The White Wolf]

"Yes." Chancellor Yami responded "Just go up to the booth and ask for a hooded uniform." Chancellor Yami explained. Awaiting for all the student's attention so they could have the year opening duel. "Students. Please hurry up so we may commence the opening duel." Chancellor Yami stated. He walked around, but unable to find Akira. So he walked up to Kid Akarui "Excuse me Akarui. But you have been selected for the opening duel." Chancellor Yami explained.

[Big Bad Pennar]

"Okay" Said Avirre as she did as the Chancellor said to do, and got a hooded Uniform, Which allowed her to travel throughout the academy with that instead, She went to the Obelisk Blue Girls Dorm, but wasn't surprised she didn't have a roomate, She didn't want roomates as many didn't understand her. So she went into her dorm room and napped on her bed. She didn't have a lot to do, but she wondered about Yoroi.....

[Spirit of DMG]

"Red, huh? Well, it's a start." He said, actually smiling. He looked to Felicity when she told him about making it to Obelisk. "Probably. Like you said, your brother made it to Obelisk, and he stared in Red. Besides, once I learn to use this deck properly, then I'll be make it to Obelisk in no time at all. I only need to learn more combos, and how figure out better topdecking methods, and I'm as good as there. In the mean time though, I may as well see what kind of blazer styles they've got." he said, clearly having a preference of clothes.

[The White Wolf]

Yakori was walking down the hallways. He pulled out a blank card. It began to be shrouded by darkness "Heheheh." he chuckled as he continued to walk down the hallways until he made his way to the nurses office. He opened the door and entered. About an hour or so later, a scream could be heard. Yakori exited the office. A blank card with the picture of the nurse on it "Heheheh. One soul down. The rest of the school to go." Yakori stated with a smirk. "Now, who's next. I can't take on this whole school myself. I need to corrupt another with darkness." Yakori stated as he placed the Nurse's card in his pocket and another out of his other. "Sure I corrupted the nurse. But she's too weak of a duelist." Yakori stated.

[Fader]

Proffesor Wolf heard opening duel. "Opening Duel??? This will be fun to watch, i am always looking for students to strategize certain cards and show what would work." Proffesor Wolf walked up to chancellor Yami. "Can you keep an eye out for those who need help with strategy or balancing?" "I am researching the Rainbow diety cards right now devoloping strategies for it." Proffesor wolf looked deep in thought at the wall how dim and white it was while he thought of the rainbow diety cards.

"Wow, not too shabby." Kay lightly joked as he threw his luggage onto one of the two beds. "Man oh man, I can't wait to see what's in store for us at this academy. I'm hoping to graduate from here and go onto the pro leagues. That's my dream, what about you Akira? Do you have any plans for the future?" Kay asked out of curiosity as he jumped onto his bed.

Rick took his things and sat there to see if there will be an opening duel, and hopefully, to find his roomate. "Hmm, I wonder who'll be dueling?" Rick thought to himself.

"Hehe, I say you're a little bit picky when it comes to clothing. Hehe, I guess that's a good trait sometimes." Felicity responded with a smile. "Well anyways, I'll be saying you later. It was fun talking with you Damen!" Felicity said as she went off to go get her things.

[Big Bad Pennar]

Avirre Sensed a Large amount of Negative Energy coming from inside the Duel Academy. Waking up, She jumped out of bed, Swiftly Running towards the Duel academy, She pulled out 3 cards, and Charged to the source of the negative energy, Which was the Nurse's Office. But Found nothing, Not even the nurse was there, But she passed someone that could've been the cause of it, he was emmitting a large amount of Negative energy. So with that she turned around and proceeded to go back to the dorm....

[The ReBeL]

Brian was extra happy. He was in Ra Yellow and was putting his cards in some custom black trim and light blue and yellow sleeves. His deck was to represent his dorm. His spirits flew to the dorm and they could feel his happiness. Brian was running to his dorm. He was bout to begin making his Earthbound Deck. He was ready to duel at any moment he just wanted to face skilled opponents.

 

"When this deck finishes, I'm going after everyone in Blue!"

 

His spirits sended off some of his energy. It was negative energy the energy from darkness. He could survive in that energy. He felt while sitting on the bleachers. He new there was danger and more to come during his time there.

When Peter was told that he has powers, He got right out of bed. "I would like you to show me something. Just anything that I can do with these powers". Peter asked as he stood at eye-level to the dragon.

 

"Ok, follow me" Blood Spawn Dragon said. Peter follow him to the outside of the dorm. "hold your arm out straight like you are pointing it at me." Peter did as instructed. "Now feel your lose of your parents, just remember how much you loved them, then call up all that loneliness that you felt, all the heart-acke of them not being there." Peter didn't like it, but he did as the dragon asked. "now force it outward, threw your arm, stop it around your wrist and think of a duel disk." Peter was confused at first. But once he closed his eyes, the ability to move the saddness from his heart down to his wrist. A duel disk started to materialise around his wrist.

It had a Edgy-Metalic feel to it.

 

"Holy Sh*t!" Peter was shocked. Did he just summon a duel disk?

[The White Wolf]

Yakori threw the Blank Card he was holding in front of Avirre. It formed a barrier around them "Don't try." Yakori stated "No one can enter this barrier, and no one can exit." Yakori explained "We duel. If I win, you lose your soul to the card and join us. I win. Well, I return to my former, weak self." Yakori explained "And don't think of bringing out your pathetic Duel Spirits. Even if they do somehow materialize, they'll be immediately forced out of the barrier. Nothing can get in, and nothing can get out." Yakori explained with a smirk as he activated his duel disk and drew five cards."

Back at Brian's dorm. A giant hand made out of shadows rose from underneath him. It was about to grab him.....
