Duel Academys 100th year, Let the entrance exams Begin! Started/Accepting in OOC

Gaspard hopped onto his duel runner and turned on the NOS. He hoped that the po po wouldn't catch but with his runner they couldn't. Gaspard passed up a car with some perhaps new students. He waved at them then sped up. he heard a police siren and saw that it was after someone else. Gaspard looked at his watch and noticed that he would be late so he drove onto a ramp and switched the blade wings on and flew to the entrance exams. He noticed that his acent was too good and he came crashing through the roof the exams building. He got up from his duel runner and wiped off what was the roof tiling and walked up to the sponsor and said "I'll gladly pay for that." The sponsor replied "again Gaspard? That's the fourth year in a row" Gaspard laughed and walked towards gthe teacher's area.

Shade shook his head and looked out the car, noticing the hummingbird earthbound immortal. "Hmph..." Dragobie King reappeared next to the earthbound and chuckled. "Looking for some overgrown flowers, birdie? How about a large cracker?" Dragobie dived into the ocean to avoid assault.

"Wow." Tyler said softly as Dragobye did tha". He looked out the window. He could see Duel Academy! Finally it comes, the momemt of the exams, the moment to show that he was just as good as Emily was. This was his moment, not Emilys, and he will prove to his parents that he was just as good as Emily was and He willl not fail!

the Chanccelor walked up toi Gaspard with a smile on his face. "Ah Gaspard i see you've made you're usual exstatic entrance, all excited for this years participants?" As he said this he noticed the officiial duel academy cars began to turn up to the academys entrance , all the dueling participants waited below the giant staircase leading to duel academy as instructed byt he officials. All the teachers and the chancellor, walked tot he top of the stairs catching allt he students attention.

 

"Welcome!" the chancellor yelled, his voice echoing through the islande. "You have all come here in the belief of Dueling and becoming great duelists, whether you hope to become a great duelist or simply enjoy dueling this is the place you wnat to be. These are the teachers of the academy who will instruct and teach you ont he proper ways of dueling, please cooperate with them and the officials here so we can get this done smoothly.We have all your names put in groups so please don't hesoitate to look, and remember just because u dont make obelisk blue isn't the end of the world, remember Jaden Yuki was in slifer red. So everyone give it you're all and i shall see you later!"

 

The channcelor walked into the duiel academy arena and sat on a chair in the middle of the granstand that surrounded the 4 fields.

Gaspard nudged the Chancellor in the arm and whispered "I was one as well if you remember." "Mind if I do some of my annual checking?" Gaspard was thinking of the times when he would slip into his card spirit firm and survey the student's decks by chatting with the duel spirits.

Fear was building inside him. Who would he duel? Would he succeed or fail? All that was about to happen right now.

Dragobie flew out of the ocean and disappeared, going back into my deck holder. "Now STAY in there!" "Yes Master..." Shade looked over at Duel Academy and laughed. "About time! I was getting bored!" Shade leaned back more and waited for the car to come to a stop. "So... How do you think you're gonna do, Tyler?"

"Well if you must ask, I think i will fail miserably, faint, and wake up in Slifer." Tyler says to Shade. "I wonder if we will duel each other though......"

Shade looks at Tyler, obviously thinking. "hmmmmmmmmmmmm... Dragons versus Machines... That will be an interesting match!"

Tyler heads for the Duel Academy, starving. If he got into Slifer, then the last good meal for the rest of the year will be the toast and scrambled eggs he had for breakfest today. Hopefully he will get into Ra Yellow or Obselik Blue with VWXYZ Gadget. It is time for the grand moment. The Gadgets were accompying him. They to looked scared. If he knew the gadgets, it was fusing with Polymirization for the first time. For the First time in his life, he wanted to run back to the car and drive home, even though he can not drive. This is it!

Mr. Jeff Strachan was still siting next to the chancellor. He had to wait till all the students arrived to give out examinations. So he would wait here till everyone arrived. His deck he named revenge of time itself, and he wanted to see duelists. But too many people were late. He pulled out the card Mighty Time Dragon and looked at it. He put it back in his extra deck. As they teacher for synchros and fusions I try to use them. But this deck isn't focused on that.

Matteo hopped out of the car, standing on the bright greeen grass, the sky was a calm natural blue, there was basically no wind and the academy stood as a giant in front of all the students the just hopped out of the cars. Matteo observed all the duelists int he area, some looked like real competitorshe thought, but he still believed that obelisk blue would be the dorm he was destined for.

 

Matteo noticed allt he teachyers and the chancellor on top of the stairs about to make an announcement to allt he students that had arrived, Mattoe foded his arms and made his way to stand infront of the officials at the bottom of the stairs.

Tyler quickly looked through his deck. "Red Gadget......Frontline Base....W-Wing Catapult....." Tyler mumbled until he reliazed that he fell down while he was looking. He quickly got up, hoping nobody would notice. Now that they were here, his stomach was bursting with butterflies. He hoped this was how you were supposed to feel when your nervous, cause if it was always like that, then that was not right. Well, if that was that, then he would jusst have to learn to deal with it. Hopefully, my duelings enough to get me into at least Ra Yellow.

Jake and Jack both walked out of their cars. Jack was staring at Rekeph, the Ultimate Dark Warrior while Jake was looking at his surroundings of Duel Academy. "This'll be fun, huh Jack?" Jake asked Jack. "Yep. This Academy will be good." Jack responded with a wide smirk as he placed his deck back into his Deck Box. He and Jake both pulled out their Duel Disks from their packs and placed them on their arms.

Tyler saw Jake and Jack put on there duel disks. How could he forget to? Obviously you had to duel, so he put on his duel disk, slipped in his VWXYZ Gadget deck and activated it. It was so cool when it just opens up like that. Tyler was easily satisfied by anything and what impressed him most was just plain old dueling. This was unbeliavable to be here, dueling like Jaden Yuki did. Just who he would face though, that was the problem. How well will he do and what dorm he will be in, thats a problem to.

Tamon Hill jumped out of the car in excitement wondering who he was going to duel first. He observed teh surroundigns and simply smiled. "I've been waiting for this my whole life", He thought as he looked through his Deck. "And these guys are going to help to strive."

"We will boss!"

"Ahh!" Tamon screameed wondering where that voice came from, he noticed people were staring at him. "He he don't mind me..."

"I keep hearing those voices as if my cards are talking to me. "

"You there make your way tot he bottom of the stairs ", an official said as he ordered Tamon to move."

 

"Ahh..yea no probllem." Tamon ran to the bottom of the stairs.

What a day already! Not only had he fainted in the car, made new friends, Found people with duel spirits, and get new cards for his deck, he also almost ate his shoe out of hunger. They should really bring food...Wait!!! Tyler opened his pocket. It was food. He vagely remembered his mother giving him this for the trip. It was a melted chocolate bar and a Goldfish bag. Thanking mother, he quickly ate his chocolate in one bite. He would save the Goldfish for later today. It was going to be a loooooong day today!

Shade jumped out of the car and followed Tyler, he didn't care what dorm he got, but he was sure it was going to be a good experience any way. "I am so stoked!" "Master, lets not get ahead of ourselves!" "Okay Dragobie." Shade walked into the exam area and chuckled. "This shall be fun! I can't wait!" "Neither can I master... Who shall we face first?" "It isn't up to us..." "Darn it!"

As Shade caught up to Tyler, Tyler just thought how different they were. Sure they could both see duel monsters spirits, but as Shade thought positive, could read minds, uses dragons and not much seems to make him super nervous, but Tyler usually thought negative thoughts sometimes, could not read minds, uses machines and a lot of stuff makes him super nervous. But hopefully he will be ready. Exams seemed to pressure him even though he was really smart and did great on tests, but this test may not be an A+....

Shade chuckled. "I can't read minds, Tyler. But Dragobie can... Or so he proves..." Shade walked right next to Tyler, sure they were polar opposites, but something kept telling Shade that him and Tyler would be great friends. "So Tyler... Since your deck has such cards as it does, how do you think it will work out? I mean gadgets aren't really strong... But they do have potential." Shade chuckled and reached into his pocket.

"Well i may be able to do it, but maybe not. All i need are the right cards to do it...and some luck to..."said Tyler. Meanwhile, the Gadgets were floating around the crowd, looking at peoples cards. Tyler remembered to tell them off once again about snooping at peoples cards. But he still wondered about that card that Jack had. Well, whatever it is, ill beat it. Tyler then saw that Shade was going through his pocket. "I wonder what it is... " Tyler thought. Tyler knew that it was probably his deck or a card or something like that...

Shade pulled out a deck holder with a metallic coloring from his pocket. "Here. A little gift. Think of it as a new friend present. Don't open it yet..." Shade chuckled and put the deck holder in Tyler's hand. "Open it after exams. You'll thank me later." Shade chuckled more and patted Tyler's back. "Good luck friend. You will need it." Shade looked around the exam area. "Scratch that... You'll REALLY need it!" Shade sighed as he looked at the gadgets. "Such troublemakers..." "Agreed master..." Shade chuckled and walked away, unsure of how things will turn out.

"You should respect his decision Green" Yellow Gadget said to Green Gadget. Hearing that just made him remember. "Hey, speaking about respect, why are you guys even looking and snooping through other peoples cards?" Tyler asked to the Gadgets. "Well, we aren"t SNOOPING, we are just glancing at the cards by mistake." Red Gadget said lazily. "Yeah, right. Sure....." Tyler said. He put the present into his pocket. He really wanted to know what it was.

Shade leaned on a nearby wall, waiting for his moment to take the exams. He obviously put something good in the deck holder because he had a smirk on his face. Dragobie chuckled looking at his master's face. "Sir. Are you going to tell Tyler what you stuffed in there?" Shade chuckled. "Nope. He'll need to wait." "Oh you are an interesting human! Playing with his sense of curiosity like that!" "I know Dragobie. That's why I am such a bad boy." Shade and Dragobie laughed. "Wait... What about those gadgets?" Shade shrugs. "I don't know. OH! Go annoy them!" Dragobie snickered. "Gladly!" Dragobie flew into the gadget trio, making them spin violently. "Round and round you go! Wherever you stop, no one knows!"

Jason walked into the building where the entrance exams were being held. He looked around and could see a bunch of duelists within the building. "Hm, it looks like there are a bunch of strong duelists here." Jason looked around the building until he saw a shady corner where he started heading towards, within minutes he was in the corner staring at everyone else. "Yes, we do have a lot of talentless duelists here don't we Vayu?" His duel spirit and closest friend nodded as it appeared on his shoulder. "Well then let us wait until our battle begins then shall we?" Jason said quietly so only he and Vayu could hear his words.
