Dragobie sighed and shook his head as he disappeared from behind his master. "Axe Dragonute! Direct attack!" The axe-wielding dragon flew over to Strachan and slashed him with the axe and flew back over to its original position. "Your move..." Shade smiled from the corner of his mouth, actually happy for once. It is obvious he hasn't smiled in a long time.

After Jason attacked Armeggedon Knight Ryan's Life Points hit 0. Jason had won the duel! He was thrilled about it but hardly showed any emotion after all there was plenty more to go but hopefully this duel impressed a lot of teachers. Jason looked at Ryan who was leaving he thought to himself "I wish that duel would have lasted longer but his arrogance just ticked me off. Hopefully we can have a longer duel." Jason packed up his duel disk and headed towards the same corner he standed in before he waited silently for his next match to occur.

Ryan was pissed he won the duel. His arrogance had failed for the first time. "Time to change some things huh." He walked towards Jason. "Hey Master guy, good FTK i will be ready next time and you will see that to be true. We will have more interesting ones in the future, RiVAL!" He turned and walked away.

Mr. Strachan took the hit. His life points were cut in half, but now he would strike back. "It's time for my counter-attack. I hope your ready Shade. I draw and activate foolish burial. As a teacher I would like you to tell me what this does. (OoC: Make your character say it and then go ahead to your turn). Correct! I send Time Guardian from my deck to my grave. And now I can special summon Soul Catcher by removing from play the two Time monsters from my grave." Soul Catcher appeared on Mr. Strachan's side of the field. She was blue skinned and was surrounded by spirits. "I set one face down and attack your Axe Dragonute with my Soul Catcher. Soul barrage!" Axe Dragonute was swarmed by the souls of Soul Catcher. "I end my turn. Concentrate."

Shade drew a card and sighed. "Well... I guess all I can do now is use this... I set one card face-down and end my turn..." Shade shivered a bit, obviously knowing this won't turn out well... He whispered to himself. "Come on... Work with me..."

Ryan was watching the new duel and loved the rfp aspect. He wanted someone to use this. He didnt suspect a teacher. While that was going on he wondered if life would let him meet the Dark Signers in any world. He jsut wanted to know everything. He was a fan of the 5'ds. Especially Crow. He always wanted to meet him and Luna's brother. he wanted to be something. Jason had ruined a little bit of hope Ryan had. He could feel the hatred. He was going to be Jasons rival and friend to the end. He pulled a card from his binder. "Hey guy, Master dude, HERE!"

Jason looked at Ryan as he headed his way, "Vayu you need some rest here go back into your card." Jason showed his 'Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor' up to Vayu who like a ghost floated into the card. Jason listened to Ryan and said "Master guy? Who the heck do you think you are calling me such an awful name like that. If you call me that you call me 'Master' you got that? But seeing as I don't want to teach you anything other than how to get beaten by me in a duel, you can just refer to me as 'Jason' so now what shall I call you from now on?" Jason asked.

"Ryan, Ryan Light and it's funny how dark I really am. Like I said here. You will need this versus the teachers. Now I need to know. Do you like Crow? Random question yes. Matteo walked around the room wondering why people were dueling when the chancellor hadn't even made his announcment to begin, amongst this he was able to see some Deck types at least. Matteo went and sat in the grandstand awaiting the chairmens announcement, he assumed others would follow him as the chairmen went to the microphone with the teachers as if to make an announcement. "Hmph, strange" Matteo thought, "Everyones already started...strange alright..." Matteo saw a boy walk up and sit in the grandstand on the same row as him. "Hey, Matteo said. "You're the kid thsat uses Gems right?"

"Shade, you have been a really good opponent. But it won't end this turn. I draw," Mr. Strachan said, "You see, I was right. No spell or trap removal. But it has been two turns so my Time People return to the field in defense position. I also special summon Time Archer in defense position. It deals 500 points of damage to you for every turn it has been removed from play. That is three turns so now you get dealt 1500 damage." Shade's lifepoints dropped to 2500. "Next turn I can synchro summon. I end my turn."

Tamon looked at the boy he just sat next to, "Yea they are my Gem and Gemknights, everyone says their weak but they can be really strong!", Tamon looked at the area. "Everyones here, dueling, I'm Tamon by the way whats your name?" More and more students began to sit int he stadium, there were many tough looking duelists tamon though gripping his Deck in hope to do well and acheieve his life long ambition.

Shade signs in relief and draws a card. "And this is standby phase 2. So CDA comes back." Watches as CDA reappears onto the field. "Now I summon Debris Dragon." A small Stardust look-alike appears on the field. "Now I tune my monsters together to summon my ace monster!" both dragons disappear and a large beam of darkness shoots from the ground. "GO! DRAGOBIE KING!" a large dragon skeleton bursts from the ground and growls loudly. "Now for his special effect. For each dragon monster in my graveyard, Dragobie gains 100 ATK and DEF points. Unfortunately, that is only 300 points..." Dragobie's ATK/DEF go from 2400/2000 to 2700/2300. "I am ready to go master..." Dragobie! Attack one of his Time Warriors! "With pleasure. ZOMBIE FLAME!" Dragobie shot a beam of black fire onto one of the Time Warriors, melting it from the inside out.

Jason looked at Ryan in a somewhat confused state. "Crow? Who on earth has a name like that? Sorry but I do not know who this crow character is. So your name is Ryan Light wait you were the one I was supposed to be dueling later." Jason looked up at a score board and saw his name had 3 points from his victory earlier. "Oh so I see now teachers must have watched our duel and decided to count it as the one for the round. Well nice meeting you, I look forward to another duel oh and thank's for the card although I doubt I will need it."

"The game felt unfair but I dont care I will show my skill. Haha. I feel like life wanted me to lose.

The fate of our lives have been decided. That's why I listen to Ecsape the Fates. I want to get away from that sometimes. Well I know I will score high on the other part. I had that highest scores at my school in math and english. LOL see you around Jason-the Blackwing Master!" After that talk Ryan felt good. He wanted to feel defeat so he could slam it in their faces later in a more discrete way. He decided to chill until anything important happened.

Zeel stood next to the chancellor with his amrs folded he saw ventus a kid that was long time family friends, it was obvious zeel expected big things from him. Zeel payed close attention to a coupld of the duelists in the area. " Hmph, ,maybe the chancellor was right" he thought as he took out his own Deck. "A few of the duelists here has some unique decks according to what the officials have told me. Well better get ready for starting the examinations." He looked over at the councellor and gave a little nodd. "When the current duels are finished", he said to the councellor

Brian had a change of heart. He was going to be revolutionary. He was making a new deck for any of the test that lay before him. He was making a Clown Earthbound Deck. "I will change dueling for ever" He thought. His duel spirit shook her head up and down."You will do great things with this new deck. You will still have mountains to climb though."

Jake and Jack entered the arena. Jake sat next to Matteo while Jack sat next to Tyler. Jack could feel the presence of the Gadgets "Tell those gadgets: Duel." Jack stated with a smirk. Jake just watched the ongoing duels. Knowing once they got caught..... BAM! Slifer Red. "Heh....." Jake stated with his eyes closed and a smirk. They both thought about how Duel Academy would be like. But in different ways.

"So we're in the same group" Matteo said to Jake. As he continued to watch the last few duels take place. "In fact your brothers in the same group to, what are the odds." Matteo took out his Deck and looked at his finisher card "Incinerating-Eyed Glorious Dragon" he thought as he gazed at his finisher card with a sense or pride. This card was actually created and given to him personally by Seto kaiba who intentionally made it as a counter part to the legendary "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card, Matteo's Deck never left a room without that card in it.

Gregory when he wakes up he sees that we had already stopped and tries to leave and then asks where is the examination room that is he suppose to be right now...The old man started laughing, calmed Gregory and guide him to the examination room.

Shade sighed as the matched ended in a draw due to an interruption. "Darn... I was so close..." "WE were so close, Master..." Dragobie watched the other cards fade away and sighed. "So thats 1 point for us, master? That teacher did say it was to be counted as one of our exam duels." "Well you're right about that, Dragobie. And now we'll need to step our game up!" "Yes sir! I will do the best I can!" Dragobie nudged Shade gently and Shade chuckled. "Stop that! It tickles!" "Oh it does?" "Uh-oh!" Dragobie kept tickling Shade with tail and Shade ended up falling over, chuckling. "Stop it!" "Sorry master. Couldn't resist." Dragobie pulled his tail away and sighed. "So who is our next opponent?" "I am unsure, Dragobie..."

The Gadgets, now seperated, had started following Tyler. Feeling that this was better then them snooping, he looked through his deck and VWXYZ Gadget. Someday. He will be able to use it, despite how hard it would be, and win a duel because of it. He could possibly use it during exams or during practical tests in the academy or during the time he duels Shade...
