Trunks88
Discuss LeBron James joining the Miami Heat with D. Wade and Chris Bosh. What he will bring to this "Dream Team" and if they'll be able to win the championship this year with these three guys.
Yankee
The Heat is the worst team in the NBA right now.Even with the 3 of them. They only have about 4 guys on their roster...>_> They have little to no money to sign 9 players. Meaning those 9 aren't going to be good. It's going to be a big 3, and a...NY like team supporting them...
Trunks88
They have 5 players: Wade, James, Bosh, Chalmers, and Beasley. But yes, they arn't that good right now with the 3. They need bench players to come in so the others can get rest because no player can go a game. And even if they did it would be able to keep it up the whole season. They need somewhat good players to back the big 3 up.
Yankee
Eh...this year they'll be ok. Next year they'll dominate. [/rhyme]

Personally, not only because of the financial reason, but because of the typical reason of stats and how the players will play with each other, don't think this will work out. I'd rather not go in depth, as I already have in my club ;/

Slash
Superstars getting PO'd with each other Ok, I see. Ya, Lebron and D-Wade, along with Bosh have all said that they would be fine taking pay cuts, as well as taking some dips in stats to allow the other(s) to get their way on a given night, knowing the kind of points, rebounds, etc. that they all demand. I think, that despite that, it is human nature to be greedy. They all want to go down in history with stats. They want to score the points. Obviously, I can see a first championship possibly coming, that is expected, probably. But after that, there won't be as much hunger for one, and the reality will check in. Limited Edition KING
I heard on NBA.com that Miami traded Beasley to make more room for James.
GHawk
Superstars getting PO'd with each other I don't think this will happen since they've played together before...on team USA. They did good then. But it might happen. Do you guys think that either of those three will win MVP this year?
Yankee
Eh, MVP is going to be weird. They worked on team USA because the only thing on the line was the Olympic gold. They where favorites anyway. The NBA MVP is a completely individual stat. With the three of them on the same team, they cannot play the same way they have been for years. LeBron isn't gonna be able to be the one go to guy. Same for Wade and Bosh. I doubt any of them will be an MVP. For one to be one, that means either the other two are not producing, or one is being selfish. Being selfish is ok if you're on the Lakers, where the game depends on Kobe. But when you have three superstars, being selfish will only cause problems. GHawk
Yeah I think Kobe will win this year. And I think that D. Wade would have the best chance of MVP for that team out of anyone since it is his team. But who knows. Anything can happen. I just hope this goes well and don't take a wrong turn and go bad. You think this is the new "big 3" of the NBA or do you think Boston still has the "big 3"?
Clair
This LeBron guy is just another spoiled athlete. Hell, ESPN gave him his own decision show. =\ Dad wasn't happy.
Yankee
ESPN didn't, LeBron made it, and bought the time. That's why people are angry; he handled it the wrong way.
Limited Edition KING
I want to see how heats big three fares against Boston's big three that will determine who the better one is. I have a feeling the first time they'll meet Boston will win because their Big Three has played together longer and has chemistry in the few years or even in some more showdowns between the two it could be a different story. Yankee
Eh, boston is getting old. Also, this big three HAVE played with each other before. They are all great friends, and where on team USA together.
Limited Edition KING
Yes but they haven't played together as frequently as boston's big three is what I meant.
Yankee
They'll hold their own, and prob win.I'm just worried about the rest of the team...
Limited Edition KING
Yeah, I wonder who else they'll get to join? they say they've cut their price down so they can build the rest of the team. Now a real super team would be those three, Shaq and Allen Iverson. I would love miami over boston if they signed those two. Doubt it though. GHawk
James and Bosh are suppose to be helping get players for that team is what I heard. But it probably won't be anyone good since they have no money basically. :/
Yankee
^ however, players will sign for little to no money to be on the same team as these three. It's basically signing for a 100% chance at a championship. Sure, you'll get a low amount of money, but you'll be advancing your career and legend.
