(If you're busy, ignore the following block of text and just read the card). So in my quest for original ideas, and my love of varying the way Synchro Summons can be performed, I've come to the intersection of Unions and Tuners. That, combined with my love of Psychics, has given birth to this:

EDIT: Changed the effect. Woo.

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a Psychic-Type monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. During either player’s turn, you can send this card and the equipped monster to the Graveyard to select 1 Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck whose Level is equal to the total Levels of the equipped monster and this card. Special Summon that 1 Synchro Monster and pay Life Points equal to half of its ATK. (This Summon is not treated as a Synchro Summon. A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)[/align]

I love the idea, but it seems a bit pointless, really. Honestly, it's a limited Synchro Summon that costs LP. Unless a) A judge (in this case, you) rules that you can use this to Synchro Summon on your opponent's turn, or b) it gives the Synchro Summoned monster an additional effect, I don't really see the point.

Agreed. The correct (alongside the better) OCG is below.

"Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a non-Tuner monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. If this card and the equiped monster can be used to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster on your Extra Deck, you can Special Summon that Synchro Monster by paying half of it's life points (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon). (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

Then, add at least one of Lord Smeagle suggestions to a effect.

Also, I woudn't put the "pay life points" effect but since you shoud be using him to a psychic deck, I've lowered it to half of the Synchro Monster attack.

Well, it's a good idea using Union Monsters equipped to a non-Tuner monster to Synchro Summon, but make effects so negative. Iknow that sometimes a powerful effect must be balanced with a bad one, but try to edit a bit more this card and you'll get what you're finding with this idea. And don't get disappointed if everyones hits you. It's part of the business to become a good card maker.

And, i can see that you made your card with Magic Set Editor. Please, tell me where did you get the font for the card name, you'll be my hero if you do it.

The sentence in bold doesn't make sense to me.

EDIT: Okay, I re-read it, and it makes a little more sense, but I think the wording is more confusing that way.

EDIT 2: Changes made to the card. Go check it out.

Well, I left out the thing about adding something to the Synchro, because I felt that the Synchro on your opponent's turn would be sufficient enough to make this card playable. You're probably right, though, there should be something there to sweeten the deal...
