Chinotornes
Alrighty! I've been not yu-gi-ohing for almost 2 years, so my OCG may suck. But I just remembered this site existed. So I've been making this set today. Comments and feedback would be greatly appreciated! Watashi wa ganbatte ne! (I'll do my best!) These two archtypes are sortof made to counter each other. I've tried to make them balanced, yada yada yada. OH! And all art was found on Deviant art, the artists names are in the circulation. The 1st Archetype: The Apocalyptic Beasts all have the common effect that they can't attack on the 1st turn they are on the field. They also have effects that center around the number of face down spell and trap cards on your opponents side of the field. Effect1: This monster cannot attack during the turn it was summoned. Effect2:This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. This monster cannot attack your opponent's life points directly.Effect1:This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. When this card declares an attack, you may flip one face up spell or trap card on the field, facedown. During the end phase of the turn this monster declared an attack, it is changed to defense position. Effect2: This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. When this card declares an attack, look at 1 facedown spell or trap card on your opponents side of the field. If it is a spell card, the original ATK and DEF of this card are switched for the damage step only.Effect1: This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. When this card declares an attack, gain life points equal to the number of facedown spell or trap cards on the field x600Effect2: This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. When this card declares an attack, If your opponent controls any facedown spell or trap cards, this card gains 300 ATK.Effect1:This monster cannot attack during the turn it was summoned. Each time a spell or trap card is set on your opponents side of the field, place 1 'Apocalypse Counter' on this card. Increase the attack of this card by 300 for every 'Apocalypse Counter' on this card. When this card declares an attack, you can remove 2 'Apocalypse Counters' from this card to destroy 1 face down spell or trap card on your opponent's side of the field Effect2:This monster cannot attack during the turn it was summoned. When this card declares an attack, you may draw a number of cards equal to the number of facedown spell and trap cards your opponent controls.Effect1: This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. Your opponent can't activate any spell or trap cards on the turn this card is summoned. When this card is advanced summoned, flip all spell and trap cards on your opponents side of the field facedown. When this card declares an attack, destroy all facedown spell and trap cards on your opponents side of the field.Effect2: While this card is face up on the field, all "Apocalyptic Beast" monsters you control can declare an attack during the turn they are summoned.Effect1:This monster cannot declare an attack during the turn that it is summoned. NeXodus
Spoilers sez hai. I love apocalyptic settings because they're always so atmospheric and large. Everything is in ruins. Especially Sci-Fi Apocalypses, moving machines running around and humans fighting for survival. But enough of that, these cards are good. tl;dr BUT they do look good from quick glances and the images are great. Overall, in total they get a 7/
