"Hobby League" Report

[Zauls]

lol. This was a Hobby League, but it was dominated by Frog Monarchs, Quickdraw and Machina Gadgets. There were also a couple of Infernities and a few X-Sabers. The deck I used can be found in the Your Deck section. Here we go then:

Deck: Flamvell Shenanigens

Game 1:

Basically, everything he tried to do, I had a counter to. I then just started spamming Cherries and Monarchs, gg.

Monarch spam FTW!

Game 2:

Bad hand... He beat me...

Game 3:

Deck: Lightsworns

Game 1: He got Phantom of Chaos out and removed Jay Dee. I Stardusted it (because he didn't know Stardust's effect O.o) and from then on, things were easy!

Game 2:

I was successfully pwned.

Game 3:

Starlighted his first JD, BTH'd his other one. lol for game.

So. I'd won all my matches so far, and I saw that I was up against someone who had gone 2-1 and I had gone 3-0. Things looked up! Then I realized who it was... Guy with Infernities... He said he got bad hands in the last match and got really unlucky which is why he lost, which explained a lot. Anyway, I prepared for the kill and went in...

Game 1:

I was doing OK. I had D.D. Crow'd him when he tried to use Launcher and I'd got Caius out etc. But then he just OTK'd me, annoyingly...

Game 2:

I sided in Dust Tornados for those pesky Launchers, and they worked wonders! I got him down to about 2000 points but then he just top-decked Launcher for game...

Game 1:

Got a really bad hand and made a few misplays/mistakes and he just beat me down.

So, I didn't do too badly, considering being up against Infernities and getting bad hands against Sabers.
