These are my scores:

[spoiler=zmuzik]

7 Colored Dragon – Shining Marine King

Balanced: 17/20

This monster is quite balanced. It has quite a nice control effect, the only problem is the only way to get rid of it is card effects since it has quite a defense against attacks, and it has a very easy summoning requirement, which is why it didn’t get perfect, but with all the removal nowadays it’s more balanced. The end effect is balanced as well.

Versatility: 20/20

I was VERY impressed with how versatile this card is. It gives WATER truly more sense of control. It even allows you to protect non-WATER monsters from attacks.

Creativity: 18/20

This is very creative, however some effects like the summoning requirement I feel are overused. But this still got a very good score.

Simplicity: 20/20

It’s a simple, easy-to-use concept.

Follows theme: 10/10

Connects WATER and control well.

OCG: 10/10

Flawless.

TOTAL: 95/100

[spoiler= Ooraloo]

Spirit of the Rapids

Balanced: 17/20

Ehh, it’s crazy in stall decks. If you can pull off the effect it’s like dark hole.

Versatility: 8/20

I will not lie, this card is EXTREMLY hard to utilize. It needs lots of support and doesn’t work in most conventional WATER decks anyway.

Creativity: 20/20

This is Certainly nothing I’ve ever seen before. Very good.

Simplicity: 3/20

…but this doesn’t have simplicity. I had to read this a couple of times to comprehend it.

Follows theme: 5/10

Not much of a control card. This is more of a “Set it and hope your opponent doesn’t attack, then totally kill them” card. Again, It’s rather unreliable and Control cards help you control the situation.

OCG: 10/10

Good.

TOTAL: 68/100

[spoiler=Smeshee]

Glacial Hermit

Balanced: 20/20

Very balanced.

Versatility: 5/20

This card is not useful at all imho, it’s a 1 tribute monster with only 1700 ATK, plus the effect, not many monsters are Flip summoned, it’s usually flip effect monsters which are attacked.. also since monsters that are flip summoned are usually flip effect monsters, and they have low ATK, it would be better to leave them in Attack position so you can inflict some damage.

Creativity: 18/20

It’s different, yet needs a little more to get a perfect score.

Simplicity: 20/20

Perfect simplicity

Follows theme: 8/10

This card is more offensive, and can’t control much but still you did good here.

OCG: 10/10

Grood.

TOTAL: 81/100

[spoiler=Drazner123]

Aquario the dragon of the sea

Balanced: 3/20

HOE-LEE-CRAP that is one crazy overpowered card. Automatically it has like 2900 ATK AND you can control a monster. And the last effect… is just brutal. Taking down a stardust dragon (better yet, controlling it) will net 2500 damage, and more! If it kills more stuff.

Versatility: 20/20

ONLY cause it’s so overpowered >_>

Creativity: 17/20

I have to say the last effect is different, but I’ve seen so many versions of the first 2 effects, and you didn’t do anything different with it.

Simplicity: 19/20

Pretty simple. Lacks a simplistic flair though.

Follows theme: 3/10

Burn damage, and beatdown.. I can see in no way is this a control card.

OCG: 7/10

Use past tense for “destroy” and “tribute summon”. Also the second sentence doesn’t make sense, “on both 2 players field”?

TOTAL: 69/100

[spoiler=achow198]

Water Adapt

Balanced: 20/20

WONDERFULLY balanced.

Versatility: 20/20

I really liked this card. It’s really useful in any decks but I can see it being used best in ALO decks – which is exactly what I wanted.

Creativity: 19/20

Very creative. I like how it returns to your hand – I would have expected being destroyed.

Simplicity: 20/20

This card is very simple concept (but very useful too) I LOVE IT.

Follows theme: 10/10

It’s defensive and a suppression effect. What’s not to love?

OCG: 10/10

Perfect.

TOTAL: 99/100

So far, achow123 had made an ASTOUNDING 99/100 points, and is in first place currently. Following second is zmuzik and third is smeshee. We will wait another day for the other judges to post their cards. Merlinkool has an excuse and I will let him off the hook but MENTON NEEDS TO RESPOND!!

That is all. :D
