Honestly I prefer the card without the lighting on it. looks better in my opinion.

 

Nice card and a decent effect, although a bit overused.

Darker version is better, i think the effect is a little Op'ed but it's good. i found a little OCG error so i suggest you to go like this:

 

"If this card attack your opponent directly, your opponent discards 1 card. If that card is a Monster Card, you can Special Summon it on your side of the field during your next Standby Phase."

 

for this kind of effect i would lower the ATk of your card to 2400 to be less Op'ed
