[spoiler=Plot (Long one, but bear with me)]

Long ago... (like last week or something >_> (JK)) there were 3 organizations that had supported a different type of duel monster. The 3 supported Fusions, Rituals, and Synchro Monsters. However, they had all the same Attribute, LIGHT, to prevent problems and such. Then, a boastful man from the Ritual Organization had decided to create an Attribute for his own, FIRE, which he says demonstrates his "burning spirit". The other organizations became envious and created Attributes for themselves. This disorganization (LOL) disrupted the balance of power and completely shattered the three organizations, and they became six groups, each one being each Attribute each and every person worshiped. Then, the nature Attributes, EARTH, FIRE, WATER, and WIND decided to overthrow the LIGHT and DARK, and a war erupted that ended up destroying all of the Attributes. After the fighting, the Elemental Titans, which the leaders of each Attribute carried, attempted to recreate the Attributes. They finally succeeded... now. And the battle carries on in the present in the New Domino City Elemental Tournament...

* LIGHT and DARK are against the other attributes.

* 1st Person in each attribute gets a "Elemental Titan" card in their deck, unless they don't want to.

* Attribute People have no distinguishing marks to tell them apart, you have to be in the same group as them, be introduced to them, etc.

* The time is around 5Ds, but before Yusei escaped from Satellite.

* The Tournament has both Turbo and Standard Duels, with Turbos being the finals.

Appearance: Sanzo is muscled, yet pretty thin, weighing around 160. He stands pretty tall, at 6 feet 1 inch. He has silver hair that is the style of Johan (Jesse) and blue eyes that make you feel relaxed when you look at them. He is the host of the tournament, but he is still a contestant competing in it as well. He wears a coat similar to the Duel Academy uniforms except that it is obsidian-black. He mostly wears khakis that are somehow black. He has a Duel Disk that is just a crystal that is actually his compressed Duel Runner. It is basically floating obsidian prisms with raised edges to hold the cards.

Biography: Sanzo is an orphan who has absolutely no memory of his past except he was told that he was the leader of the DARK Attribute Organization and that he was frozen in time after the Great Attribute War and somehow reawakened. When he awoke from time-freeze, he found that he was very wealthy and lived in a 5-Star Hotel. When he learned that the Kaiba Corp Stadium was open and the other attributes, he hosted a tournament to find out who was in each Attribute. This, he was unaware of, was a mistake because it had caused the Great Attribute War to continue.

Sanzo glanced nervously from his window outside. Would they come...? he repeatedly pondered, with a note of panic. Then, a second dreadful thought always came with those three words. Or is this all going to be a waste of time? Whenever these thoughts clouded his mind, he always shook his head and reassured himself that they would come. He absentmindedly walked outside of his hotel and towards the Kaiba Corp. Stadium, the future home of the New Domino City Elemental Tournament...

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

Zero was walking toward the Kaiba Corp. Stadium ('Egotistical blowhard...' Zero thought to himself), and for some reason two girls (One with silver hair, one with brown, both pretty) were following him, but they remained a great deal behind him. He didn't mind, though. He thought both were pretty, so he would leave them alone until they talked to him. As he walked along, he noticed another person walking a bit slower than he was in the same direction and called out to him.

"Hey! Yeh, you with the silver hair! You going to the Kaiba Corp. Stadium, too? For the Elemental whatever tourney?"

[~Duo~]

"Hm?" Sanzo was surprised that at least someone might be participating. He grinned, laughing, and explained, "Well, kind of, so yeah. But, actually, I'm the one who started the tourny, though I'm... sorta competing as well." Then, he became silent, closed his eyes, and relaxed, still walking towards the stadium, while also waiting for any responses and such. "Are you participating? I'm pretty sure you are..." He quickly added as soon as he remembered to ask that question.

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"Yeh," Zero said, laughing. "So, what's your name and which element are you representing? My name's Alex, and I'm with LIGHT." Zero thought this person was alright. He felt a deep connection between them. He had almost forgot about the two pretty girls behind him...

"Hey, Neala?" Vera asked.

"Yes, Vera?" Neala replied in her cute, small voice.

"What do you think about Zero?" Vera had always been very blunt, something Neala could never accomplish due to here shyness.

"Oh, um, well, I think he's a...Well, he's very, er...Um, he..." Neala was blushing like crazy, and had no idea how to respond to this question. "Can you ask me, erm, later, please?"

Vera began to laugh, which caused Neala to blush harder. Vera already knew Neala had a crush on Zero, and just wanted to see how she reacted under pressure. She also wanted to know how much of a competition it would be for his love...

[~Duo~]

Sanzo flinched as "Alex" revealed his Attribute. He quickly glanced around to make sure no unwelcome ears were around. He noticed the two girls, but they seemed too "busy" to have heard him. "Well, 'Alex', my name is Sanzo Danei. You shouldn't reveal your element too easily, for if one of the opposing Attributes are aware of it, you will be better off dead, probably. But since you are LIGHT, we are allies, for I am the leader of DARK." He scowled. I don't believe that is his real name... it seemed odd when he said it but I believe he is sincere of his attribute... That is not something to joke about "Who are those girls behind you... and what is really your name?" He said.

Meanwhile, Phoenix, a new duelist, had began to notice the group of four people, then his natural reaction caused him to stand behind a wall. As he watched, he began to hear the moans of those lost in the great war, and with the fear of it being a person, he jumped out. He quickly thought of an excuse, although he tends to think too quickly. With this thought in mind, he hesitated to say anything, he was almost too scared to even move.

"U...um, excuse me, I'm just going to the tournament..."

Had they noticed me watching, if so, im in big trouble...

[~Duo~]

Sanzo cocked his head. "Okay, then...? Why don't you walk with us? We're going there too, so it shouldn't be a problem," he told the odd person politely and kindly. He resumed scowling again, and quickened his pace by an unnoticeable rate, but he managed to get a lead on that pace. There sure are a lot of people around here... Maybe... He smiled and relaxed, slowing down again. He felt no reason to tell the others of his ideas or thoughts. It is unnecessary information...

[{Galvantula}]

Phoenix waited silently, he had nothing to say, he never has, ever since leaving his parents. He began to open his newest pack... and through it he found the card his father scavenged for, volcanic doomfire. He wanted to say something, but it was too early too talk as if he was a friend.

Hmm, revealing his attribute, eh, well this person was kind to me, but no person shall know of this, I shall remain loyal.

What am I thinking, I hardly know this person. This could all be a trick...

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"Heh, you caught me! Alright, my name's Zero. And those girls, I don't...Oh, I remember! Neala, Vera! What are you guys doing, stalking me? I wouldn't have minded if you girls walked with me, us being classmates and all." No, he wouldn't have minded at all...That last thought caused Zero to blush briefly. Hopefully no one would notice.

The redness had just faded away as the two girls ran up to him. "Hi Zero! How are you?" the girls said in unison.

"Good. Oh, I'm sorry, I just noticed you ((OOC: Directed at red-fury/Phoenix)). Well, you overheard this. I'm Zero, and these are my friends, Neala and Vera." They blushed when he called them his friends.

Zero looked around at the other four people and felt a sense of union and a sense of rivalry amongst all of them. "It's too bad that we're all gonna eventually go against each other, I mean, with the Tournament needing a definite winner and all."

[~Duo~]

Sanzo grinned at the others briefly and reassumed his previous expression. "So, Zero, Neala, and Vera." He nodded approvingly and a small smile lifted his lips with amusement. "Along with the standard duels, we're all gonna Turbo Duel in the finals. Do you all have the necessary equipment? If you do, you're fine. If you don't, you might as well quit, but I'll be willing you lend you a couple Speed Spells and Duel Runners and such." I should try my best to keep these people in my tournament. At least, that's what Caius and Thrysta Yami told me...

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"Oh," Zero, Neala, and Vera all said in unison. "We don't have any...Duel Runners..."

They hadn't been informed that Duel Runners would be required, and have had no experience with them whatsoever. But, this Sanzo seemed nice enough...

"If you could lend us a few, that would be great!" Vera said, much more cheerful than usual. Zero noticed that she was wearing her paleontologist outfit, something that always made him blush. He also noticed Neala was wearing the dress she used to cover up her bikini, and the thought of what was beneath the dress made Zero blush even harder.

Neala then looked over at Zero, noticed him blushing and looking away, which caused her to do the same thing. She hoped this Sanzo person wouldn't notice...She then saw the other boy opening a pack and staring at one card in particular. "H-hey, what do you have there? What's so special about that card?"

[~Duo~]

Sanzo cocked his head again, smiling amusedly. "Well," he paused to consider his next words, "I believe we have enough time before tournament starts, so I could probably lend you Duel Runners for the tournament and a few Speed Spells, and maybe teach you the basics. But we'll have to see. Then a devilish armored creature appeared and nodded his approval. It was the duel spirit of Caius the Shadow Monarch, the original from the Great Attribute War long ago. However, the second deity of Darkness was not here, currently.

[Alordzynix]

Rink was sitting at the top of the building across of the stadium, watching over all the people that where gathering. Many came to look, only a selected few where there to duel. He himself also needed to go there eventually for his own duels but he didn't feel like going any sooner then he needed too. There was no need to talk or interact with the people you are about to crush, the people you need to chrush. The more he thought of it, the more he wanted to destroy every duelist there, but he couldn't. Right now all he needed to do was wait, just wait.

[~Duo~]

Sanzo twitched as he felt an unfamiliar presence watching him from somewhere above him. He squinted skyward and after that, for a few seconds, his memory was a blank.

 

However, while he was oblivious to his actions, he had been doing something, something he couldn't have done on his own:

Sanzo took out two cards, "Raiza the Storm Monarch" (I'm pretty sure that's not the right name) and "Elemental Titan - Yami Ventus" and threw them at him (Rink). After that, he continued walking, unaware of what had just happened.

 

OOC: alordzynix, I'm talking about you.

"Huh, oh, this card, its nothing, and uh, I'll help you get them the equipment they need, I work part-time at the duel runner shop, and I can make some advanced duel runners."

Why did he just toss his cards, unusual, and why do I see my t-shirt glowing...

Phoenix noticed the exact spot the cards were thrown to, then he left.

I'll catch this guy in no time...

As soon as he found him, he challenged him, it was not his actions, it was the phoenix mark. "So, you must have done something to that person, making him throw his cards. I challenge you! But instead of a normal duel, lets turbo duel!"

[Alordzynix]

Rink saw cards flowing his way and caught them. They where the symbols of being the emperor of the wind. He went looking for where they came from and saw a person who looked like he had thrown them and then heard somebody else challenging him to a turbo duel. "As you can see, I do not have my duel runner on this roof, and until this tournament starts I don't feel like leaving this roof. If you want to duel me, I will only do a normal duel."

[{Galvantula}]

All of a sudden, the phoenix mark faded away, then, phoenix blanked out and fell off the roof. When all hope was lost, three of his cards; Sacred Phoenix of the nepthys, Volcanic Doomfire, and Flamvell deity all fell out of his deck, and to the surprise of many people just walking around, the spirit of those cards were unleashed. Due to the intense sound of this, Phoenix woke up, he was dazzled by the sight causing him to see nothing except blankness. The power was enough to save him, and due to the amazing power of the three cards, all witnesses, including Phoenix had all forgotten what just happened.

[~Duo~]

Sanzo gazed up at the 3 spirits in wonder. Then finally, he had noticed that the guy who had been with him and the group was falling off the roof. Taking out his obsidian black duel disk, he summoned a duel spirit himself, in case the other 3 failed him, which he thought would be very unlikely. The spirit was the king of darkness himself, Caius - The Shadow Monarch, ready if Phoenix's spirits should fail in their attempt to save him.

 

Fortunately, he did survive without resorting to Caius. But unfortunately, Caius became irritated in having been Summoned for no reason. Though Sanzo did manage to calm him down.
