Mothball
A niggling little idea that caught me after pondering over Dark Synchros for a while, I figured I wanted to come up with something a little different. Haven't made the template for them yet, which is why I'm using the Synchro template.Anyway, the Tuners and related Spell and Trap cards will follow soon. [align=center] [spoiler=Reaper's Lore]This card can only be Negative Synchro Summoned by removing from play 1 Negative Tuner monster and 2 more monsters from play, from your Graveyard whose Level equals 8 or more whena monster you control is destroyed and you lose 800 or more Life Points. This cards ATK and DEF are equal to half the combined ATK and DEF of the non-Negative Tuner monster used for the Negative Synchro Summon of this card. You can not use a monster destroyed during the turn this card is Negative Synchro Summoned. While this card remains on the feild, each player loses an additional 300 Life Points each time a monster they conteol is destroyed. This effect is not activated when this card destroys a monster. When this card destroys a monster it is removed from play and you lose Life Points equal to the differnce between each monsters Level x200. [spoiler=Weeping Ryu]This card cannot be used for the Synchro Summon of a Negative Synchro monster other than "Dragon of the Falling Sky". This card can only be selected as an attack target by a Level 3 or lower monster. [spoiler=Falling Sky Lore]This card can only be Negative Synchro Summoned when a "Weeping Ryu" you control is destroyed by your opponents card effect. To Synchro Summon this card, you must remove "Weeping Ryu" from play, and you must also select up to 2 WIND monsters from your Deck whose Level equals 7 or more and discard them. When this card is Summoned, all non-Dragon-Type and non-WIND monsters on the field are destroyed. While this card remains on the field all Dragon-Type monsters except this card cannot be targeted by the effects of Spell and Trap Cards. If this card is targeted by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card, you can pay 700 Life Points to negate it. If you do, you can also Tribute a WIND monster you control to add the negated card to your hand. [spoiler=Lady Luck Lore]This card can only be Negative-Synchro Summoned when a "Fortune Lady" monster you control has it's Level lowered by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card. You must also Tribute at least 1 card you control and discard a Negative-Tuner monster from your hand or Deck. (You can Tribute up to 3 cards for the Negative-Synchro Summon of this card) Add the Original Level of all "Fortune Lady" monsters used for this cards Negative-Synchro Summon to this cards Level. This cards ATK and DEF are equal to it's Level x 300. Increase this cards Level by 1 each time you draw a "Fortune Lady" card (max 12) . If a "Fortune Lady" card you control would be destroyed, you can draw cards equal to half the destroyed cards Level. [spoiler=King Nothing Lore]This card can only be Negative-Synchro Summoned when you Special Summon "Jack's Knight" b the effect of "Queens Knight". You must also Tribute "Kings Knight" and "Jacks Knight" and remove from play 1 Negative-Tuner monster you control or in your Graveyard. While this card remains on the field the ATK of all "Kings Knight"s you control becomes 2100 and their DEF 0. When this card is Summoned successfully, destroy up to 2 cards your opponent controls and destroy them. If you control a face-up "Queen Something', neither you or your opponent can destroy monsters with the effects of Spell or Trap Cards. Either player can pay 700 Life Points during their Standby Phase to negate this effect until the next End Phase. [spoiler=Kings+Queens Lore]Activate only while you control both "King Nothing" and "Queen Something" face-up on the field. This card is used to Ritual Summon "Jester of Something or Nothing". You must also Tribute monsters from your field and hand whose Level equals 10 or more and pay 800 Life Points. [spoiler=Negative Roar]You must pay 700 Life Points when you activate this card. You can only activate this card when you successfully Negative-Summon a monster. All non-Negative-Synchro cards your opponent controls are switched to Defense Position. The difference between the ATK of an attacking monster and the DEF of a Defense Position monster before your next End Phase is calculated as Battle Damage. [spoiler=Jester Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Kings and Queens". This cards ATK and DEF are equal to that of a "King Nothing" or "Queen Something" you control. If you control both "King Nothing" and "Queen Something", this cards ATK and DEF are both 2500, and this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If you control no "King Nothing" or "Queen Something" cards, this cards ATK is 3200, it's DEF 0 and your opponent cannot activate the effects of Trap Cards. While this card is face-up on the field, all "King Nothing" and "Queen Something" cards cannot declare an attack and both lose 500 ATK. You can switch control of 1 "King Nothing" monster you control, to your opponent. If you do, your opponent discards 3 cards from their hand. You can switch control of a "Queen Something" you control, to your opponent. If you do, your opponent chooses 1 card they control and takes damage equal to the selected cards ATK. Monsters who have had control switched by this effect are destroyed during the 3rd End Phase they switch control. zancrow the flame god
interesting. reminds of the dark synchros from 5d's except not lame. 8.5/
Donvermicelli
weeping ryu should have the effect monster template, effect seems balanced though.
Mothball
It does have the Effect Monster template... Yeah, Dark Synchros were the catalyst for this, and that's cause they're lame as you said, so here we are. Anyway, thanks D-dramon.
Donvermicelli
ok then something is either wrong with my eyes or my pc but the card template seemed yelllow-ish (normal) instead of orange-ish (effect) xD Also the first card is number 23, does that mean you have more of them? NeosWiseman
I've seen them already. Just going to comment on the Weeping Ryu. It's odd that it's the Tuner, but at the same time it shuld be the destroyed monster. I can see that will be in the basis of the Summon. Well, all I can say is "Nicely done!" :D10/10 A really inovative idea! *bow*
Mothball
Thanks Pharoana, as always. Got 2 more N.Syncs coming up, and hopefully that'll be it for a while. At least before I drop some Spell and Trap cards and a few N.Tuners. EDIT: Fortune Lady Luck, King Nothing, Kings and Queens and Negative Roar added. SECOND EDIT: Jester of Something or Nothing added. I know the image isn't very Jestery but it was the only fitting one I could find.
NeosWiseman
Lady Luck: This card can only be Negative-Synchro Summoned when a "Fortune Lady" monster you control has its Level lowered by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card. You must also Tribute at least 1 card you control and discard a Negative-Tuner monster from your hand or Deck. (You can Tribute up to 3 cards for the Negative-Synchro Summon of this card) Add the original Level of all "Fortune Lady" monsters used for this card's Negative-Synchro Summon to this cards Level. This cards ATK and DEF are equal to it's Level x 300. Increase this card's Level by 1 each time you draw a "Fortune Lady" card (max 12) . If a "Fortune Lady" card you control would be destroyed, you can draw card's equal to half the destroyed card's Level. King Nothing: This card can only be Negative-Synchro Summoned when you Special Summon "Jack's Knight" by the effect of "King's Knight". (Queen's Knight doesn't have an effect :D) You must also Tribute "King's Knight" and "Jack's Knight" and remove from play 1 Negative-Tuner monster you control or in your Graveyard. While this card remains on the field the ATK of all "King's Knight"s you control becomes 2100 and their DEF 0. When this card is Summoned successfully, destroy up to 2 cards your opponent controls and destroy them. If you control a face-up "Queen Something", neither you nor your opponent can destroy monsters with the effects of Spell or Trap Cards. Either player can pay 700 Life Points during their Standby Phase to negate this effect until the next End Phase. Kings and Queens: clean OCG ;-) Negative Roar: this one too :-) Jester of Something or Nothing: This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Kings and Queens". If you do, your opponent selects 1 card they control and takes damage equal to the selected card's ATK. Monsters who have had control switched by this effect are destroyed during the 3rd End Phase they switch control. The whole King's/ Queen's/ Jack's Knight theme is really nice. I love the effect of the Jester the most, but the others are nice too.Where is Queen Something btw ;-)
