Kind of an odd question, but I need an answer!

I'm fairly new here, and I've made a few cards. I've posted them fine and all, but my question is, why won't people rate them? I posted a Synchro, and that got ratings, but when I posted my Fairy Set, no one even commented on it. I was wondering, are people just lazy and only rate single cards or small groups of cards and just don't even care for the Sets? Any insight into this would be very much appreciated.

Calling people, who are most likely complete human beings, as random parts of their bodies isn't really the way you can deal with others. YCM has a lot of harsh people. I don't like that fact either, but it still goes that way.

 

Make the card name interesting. Also, I'm sure 50% of card raters comment on only the pic, so check "Jaz in Kay" in the Members list, click his sig, and get pics from his archive. *Explodes*

Feeling hurt, he negative reps you and then you have a fit and report him to a moderator. Who's the one complaining? Oh wait, you need to stop complaining, because that's how life works. If you make people mad who are trying to be nice, then you get negative rep'd. And stop caring. It's an INTERNET FORUM!

 

But yes, adding nice titles to attract people would be nice. Make them mysterious or creative. That usually draws people in. That way they wan't to know what's inside.

 

If you say: New Fairy Cards, then people will probably think that it's boring. However, if you say !!!Wonderful World of Cards!!!, I would be more attracted to the second title.

I Neg'd you because you aren't being "A bit too harsh", you're just being an ass. Not in just this post either, in others. I can handle the truth that maybe some people just don't want to rate my cards because they're bland, not good, or just lazy. I can easily take that. If you think I can't, or I'm some kind of "newb" in your terms, than you're mistaken.

Some people don't want to rate it maybe because of its first look, so they choose not to. Instead you make it more appealing. I agree with everyone else

Majortim is a jerk. He needs to realize that. Sai Pyke simply asked a question. I made a wolf card set dedicated to Sai Pyke because he is new here at YCM. Majortim is a jerk, and needs to learn how to properly critique. He deserves the negative rep because he is being a jerk to those around us about their, cards etc. Rep is short for "reputation"; if you're a jerk in real life, obviously your "rep" will go down and people won't be very fond of you. Common sense boys and girls.

 

Example of a nice person here at YCM:

Try posting a few cards at a time. That way people don't get overfaced with the amount of reading. Add other cards in later posts and the ones who are still interested will come back.

People like us who have expericance only comment on cards made by lvl 5 and 6 members. Reason is that all we find is a bunch of newbs spamming your thread giving crap ratings. TBH aim higher and get attention of experianced members.
