Dandelo
Have at him. This card is unaffected by the effect of other "Daedalus" cards. You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard, in order to activate the effect of a "Daedalus" monster you control. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, during your next Standby Phase, by sending 1 WATER monster from your hand to the Graveyard, Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this monster is Special Summoned by its own effect, it cannot be sent to the Graveyard by its own effect until the End Phase of the 2nd turn after this card was Special Summoned this way. -Lightray Daedalus-
First of All....<3! But its should be a Sea Serpent to keep with the theme....XD Second for the OCG fix...I believe it is something like. This card is unaffected by the effect of other "Daedalus" cards. Dandelo
Haha, I know... but he didn't strike my as a Sea Serpent kinda guy, but you do have a point. I'm glad you enjoy the card, and i'll go right ahead and make those changes.

Cows198
im not getting this cards effect, what is it suppose to do? the only thing i understand is the first effect, where it stays on the field even after daedalus clears it. can u explain the second part =O
Dandelo
Daedalus's effect is to send "Umi" to the Graveyard to destroy all cards on the field except him (and this card), etc. But... you can send THIS card to the Graveyard instead of "Umi" to activate Daedalus's effect. If you do that, you can then easily Special Summon this card, although you won't be able to send him to the Graveyard instead of "Umi" for two turns. THEN, after you Special Summon this card, you could send "Umi" to the Graveyard to destroy all cards on the field again, and have both Daedalus and this card attack your opponent directly. Cows198
I see =Dits not very clear from the effect. for all you kno, its sending this card to activate the cost of sending umi to the graveyard. =(You can just say while this card is face-up on the field, its name can be treated as Umi. its much more effect that way i think. other than that i understand where your doing with this. Dandelo
Well, if this card was treated as "Umi", he'd be able to aid those many cards that require "Umi" to be on the field. I'd think that's overpowered. Would, "You can send this card to the Graveyard instead of "Umi" to activate the effect of a "Daedalus" monster" be more clear? Cows198
i dont think it would be overpowered since cards that use umi are sort of weak as it is, the only monsters that competitively abuse umi are codarus. daedalus is hard to get out as it is. Also notice that since your monster is level 5, you probably have a legendary ocean on the field already anyway. But thats just my opinion, i think there really needs to be a monster form umi, would really help out the archetype =D. Anyway, i suggest this change to your card than:This card is unaffected by the effect of other "Daedalus" cards. If a face-up "Umi" card you control would be sent to the Graveyard for the effect of a "Daedalus" card, you can send this card instead. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, during your next Standby Phase, by discarding 1 WATER monster, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this monster is Special Summoned by its own effect, it cannot be sent to the Graveyard by its own effect until the after the 2nd End Phase this card was Special Summoned this way. RickiMinaj
Well' date=' if this card was treated as "Umi", he'd be able to aid those many cards that require "Umi" to be on the field. Well, about the second part. The first part, not really. The reason i say that is because it is our choice to put the card in the deck. There are many cards out there treated like Umi, but that's just taking up space in the deck if you think about it. Ohh, and BTW, i'd make it level 5. It be easier to bring out with "A Legendary Ocean"
