My Kon Banner

Here is a banner I made in my spare time. I do not come on this forum often but I have found making banners fun.

 

 

I tried my hand at making one after looking at a tut about Backgrounds. I don't know about focal points or other things yet. I don't know much about GFXing and I know this isn't nearly as good as a professional GFXer's banner but I personally like it. Comments are appreciated.

It looks okay really.

 

But in terms of GFXing etc, it is lacking things like depth, lighting and flow.

 

Essentially it's a render on a background.

 

You can find some really good tutorials on DeviantArt or on YCM :)

 

Even if you don't follow it, you would learn some techniques.

 

That's what I did, for a bit, not that I used any on my current Sig, I just blurred the background for a bit, added colour variants, light, shading, screening etc. But it still looks simple :(
