Wave_Sine
These are cards based on the theoretical higher and lower dimensions in geometry and the objects within. [spoiler=4th Spacial Dimension]4-Dimensional SpaceField SpellIf this card would be destroyed or removed from the field due to the effect of a card, you may remove one card in your hand and one card you control from play to negate the effect of the card and destroy it. Each player can control up to 10 Monster Cards and Spell or Trap Cards. If this card is removed from the field, each player destroys cards they control until they control 5 or less Monster Cards and 5 or less Spell or Trap Cards. Tesseractal ArenaContinuous SpellYou can only activate this card while you control a face-up "4-Dimensional Space". If this card is face-up on the field but you do not control a face-up "4-Dimensional Space", destroy this card. Either player may select monsters that they control in addition to monsters that their opponent controls as attack targets. Neither player may select the attacking monster as an attack target. Endless Jar - Klein's BottleEquip SpellYou can only activate this card while you control a face-up "4-Dimensional Space". If this card is face-up but you do not control a face-up "4-Dimensional Space", destroy this card. Neither player takes battle damage from battles involving the equipped monster. The equipped monster is not destroyed as a result of battle (Damage calculation is applied normally). When this card is removed from the field, destroy the equipped monster and all monsters you control, then take damage equal to the total ATK of all monsters that battled the equipped monster. [spoiler=3rd Spacial Dimension]3-Dimensional SpaceField SpellThis card is not destroyed by the effect of a card that does not specifically target it. Deadly Maze - CubeContinuous SpellIf "3-Dimensional Space" is removed from the field, destroy this card. During each Standby Phase, the turn player rolls a six-sided die and applies the following effect depending on the roll:•2: Select one monster you control and remove it from play.•4: Destroy one monster that you control.•6: Select one monster that you control. Place it on the bottom of your Deck. [spoiler=2nd Spacial Dimension]2-Dimensional SpaceField SpellOnce per turn, if this card would be destroyed by card effect, it is not destroyed. As long as this card is face-up on the field, the ATK and DEF of all monsters is halved. If an effect would inflict damage to either player, that damage is halved. If an effect would restore the Life Points of either player, the amount of Life Points restored is halved. Square ArenaContinuous SpellYou can only activate this card while you control a face-up "2-Dimensional Space". If this card is face-up but you do not control a face-up "2-Dimensional Space", destroy this card. Monsters may only declare a direct attack if they are the only card that their controller controls in their column. Since these are my first cards, I would like help with balancing, and I'm sure that some of my grammar is either archaic or incorrect. Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
These are great cards and would be extremely interesting to use in an actual duel. Klein's Jar is an interesting card. It's work as an amazing way to bypass cards like Marshmallon as equipping this to an enemies and continuously attacking it would lead to a build up of damage and a Mystical Space Typhoon can cause a win. It's a brilliant set of cards and there are no real problems with OCG as far as I can see. Link to comment
Wave_Sine
...A win for the opponent, probably. From the way I worded the card, Klein's Bottle should deal damage to its controller, not the controller of the equipped monster. Rewording it to "The controller of the equipped monster takes damage equal to the total ATK of all monsters that battled the equipped monster." would allow that strategy to work. I also have a couple of cards that kind of fit into the theme of the previous cards, but I think they have wording/balance issues:[spoiler=The cards]Space-Time Portal - Black HoleContinuous SpellPay 1000 Life Points to activate this card. As long as this card is on the field, the turn count increases by 1 for every 2 turns that pass. If you control a face-up "Space-Time Portal - White Hole", negate this effect, and instead you may remove one card in your Graveyard from play once every turn. Space-Time Portal - White HoleContinuous SpellPay 1000 Life Points to activate this card. As long as this card is on the field, the turn count increases by 2 for every turn that passes. If you control a face-up "Space-Time Portal - Black Hole", negate this effect, and instead you may place one of your removed from play cards on the bottom of your Deck once per turn. Giant Portal - Space-Time RiftContinuous TrapActivate only by sending one face-up "Space-Time Portal - Black Hole" and one face-up "Space-Time Portal - White Hole" that you control to the Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you may either remove all cards in your Graveyard from play or return all of your removed from play cards to the bottom of your Deck. I wasn't quite sure how to word the turn count altering effects, so I just went with what I thought would work. Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
Yeah I forgot to add that a card that would deal the damage to your opponent would be necessary for the win. If you cut the fight out you'd still kill the Marshmallon. For the new cards. They should say "While this card is face-up on the field" to keep in line with OCG. Also replace "may" with "can". The three cards are good cards for the "Remove from play" decks but I can't see much use for them outside this, except to stop you from running out of cards. Link to comment
Wave_Sine
Would changing that unbalance the card ? Or would it make it more balanced for the user? Well, the time-speeding effect of White Hole would immensely speed up Final Countdown decks... Link to comment
The True Ace Attorney
There's no unbalancing that I suggested, simply OCG correction. And on the Final Countdown card... How could I forget the bane of my time playing Yu-Gi-Oh. You are right. That card would immensely speed Final Countdown. Link to comment
Wave_Sine
Sorry for the confusion on the first line of my reply; I was referring to Klein's Bottle about unbalancing.Of course changing "may" to "can" wouldn't unbalance the Portal cards. Link to comment
