Bloody Darkness: A Hogwarts RP [[Pg-13/Accepting in OOC/Started]]

Luke looked aroun at the charred room of lost things. He had heard Harry Potter had found a horcrux here. He sat down on a rather nice-looking chair that must have been stowed in there recently, as it wasn't charred like the other things. The only things that stood out was a bottle of sherry, probably hidden by a sneaky teacher, and a small table. Other then that'll, everything was most likely burnt to the ground. He sighed, wishing he had something to eat, and feeling strangely empty for some reason.

Selene gazed at Jecht and shrugged. "Well, yeah,but why do you wanna get up there?" she continued to ask, not understanding. She looked around to see if she could find Luke. "Huh. I wonder if he's still in the Room of Requirement. He's probably pretty hungry...I hope that Hogsmeade passageway doesn't open up if he gets too hungry..." she continued to eat. "YOu know, I was thinking...the ghost was probably a student at hogwarts, beacuse you can only go places as a ghost that you were before. So either its a student or a teacher. Most probably a teacher..."

OOC: Sorry i did not post right away I thought I was watching the topic, so it would notify me when posts were made, but i guess not.

 

Regulus opened his mouth when he said it was 11 am. "Wow i finished my homework faster then I thought. Yeah I like ancient runes. I think it is quite interesting." Regulus thought about going to Hogsmeade, but then Virgil said something about being out late. "Exploring?" Regulus repeated not fully sure what he was talking about. This made him awfully curious. Regulus's curiosity always got the best of him. He loved to be informed about things going on it made him feel empowered somehow. "You weren't trying to find out about it were you?" By it Regulus was obviously referring to the reason the students went missing then reappeared covered in blood. Regulus mind was racing now. He loved the subject of why the students went missing. He thought it was extremely interesting.

Sarah strolled down the stairs of the girl's corridor. Her parents said it was too dangerous to go to Hogsmeade after light of what had happened to the Gryffindor boy Luke, but her other friends were able to go, so she was left alone.

"Hi..." she said awkwardly to Virgil and Regulus. She heard the word exploring. "ooh, exploring? You didn't happen to see the Room of Requirement, did you?" she said excitedly. "Hi...I'm Sarah, by the way..."

Luke rapped his fingers on the table, and, for lack of something better to do, shifted though the ashes and found an old book, that must have had an fyendFire charm on it or something, as it was unharmed. Shuffling though it, he began to find several entries in the book, which described hogwarts, Must have been a student's guide to it, and it knew everything. The common rooms, secret passageways, and all that. He leaned back, and began to read, tried of having to deal with life.

[The Final Messenger]

"Yeah, last night I was exploring and crud, I saw the Room of Requirement but couldnt see much, cuz it was at night and I dropped a book I was putting together about Hogwarts's passages and stuff, that I copied from some other kid's book about the same thing, its also good I didnt put my name on the thing becuase I'll bet a teacher got a hold of it already," Virgil said sitting up on his four poster, "if you all haven't known I'm Virgil, and tonight I'm gonna explore again, any of you care to come with me?" he asked in his always nonchalant voice with a smug look on his face as he started to hum another of his somewhat original tones. "See yall tonight," Virgil said drifting to sleep.

Sarah raised her eyebrows. What a weird boy. "I suppose I'll come with you,though it's hardly nosurprise that you just fell asleep and it's only noon." she turned back to Regulus. "Hi...I'm going down to Lunch now...will you come with me?" she offeredto the last awake occupant of the Ravenclaw Dormitory.

She stepped down the last couple of steps and walked over towards the door to the rest of the castle.

Regulus nodded to Virgil. "I am Regulus." he introduced himself smiling. "I will accept your offer to go exploring. It sounds rather.. intriguing." He said with a smirk on his face. He then looked at Sarah as she spoke to him. "Why hello, Sarah nice to meet you." Then she asked if he would join her for lunch. "I would be most delighted to acompany you." He responded. "Virgil, you coming?" He said turning to Virgil. He wouldn't want to leave Virgil alone with out offering. "If not we will see you later I guess."

Sarah gazed over at the snoring figure of Virgil. "Ah, let him sleep. He was out late last night 'exploring' or whatever." she shrugged. "Let's go...I'm famished..." they walked to the great hall.

 

 

Selene looked up and saw two figures walk into the great hall...she recognized the ravenclaw girl, Sarah, and then another boy...

 

"Hold on," she said to Jecht, then ran over to them.

Sarah looked up to see a girl she didn't know approaching them. "Hi...?" she said tentatively.

"Hi...Listen...I need to talk to you...I'm Selene by the way, sorry...you know the boy, Luke?" she said. "He was bloodied up and taken last week. Then my friend Jecht was...and then there was this prophecy that said you were next. So stay away from the bathroom on the third floor, okay?"

"Wait, what?!"

"Just stay awayfrom the bathroom for your own safety...okay?"

"Okay, okay, I guess...I'm Sarah..."

"yeah...I know..."

"Eh, I guess your right. Well, let's go then." Regulus said to Sarah as they turned and went to the great hall. Regulus gave the girl a confused look as she approached him and Sarah. He did not say a word to her though. She wasn't talking to him and he thought it was rude to but in to other peoples conversations when there was clearly nothing to add. After the Selene walked away Regulus looked at Sarah. "Are you scared?" He asked. He had an idea on what they should do if they wanted to find out what was happening to the students. But the plan was cruel and he knew Sarah would not go along with it. He may bring it up later at a better time. But first he thought they should eat. "Anyways we should go eat." Regulus said trying to get Sarah s mind off of it. whether she was scared or not.

Sarah shrugged. "It sounded a little nutty to me, but if she says so, then I guess I'll hve to stay away from that accursed bathroom..." she sat down next to Regulus.

"What's your last period of the day again?" she asked. She had already forgotten.

 

Selene walked back over to Jecht. "Still no Luke?" she asked, finishing her lunch and pushing her plate away from her.

"My last period? I don't believe I ever said. But it is Ancient Runes. How about yours?" Regulus said keeping up the conversation. He slopped a huge mound of food onto his plate. He wasn't big looking but he had a huge appetite. He could eat for hours if you let him. After eating his fill her wiped his face with a napkin and set his silverware down onto his plate. "I always love the food here." He said mainly to himself. He was still savoring the taste of his meal in his mind. Then he heard Sarah say "Still no Luke?" He looked over to her. "Luke? Luke who?" He said oblivious to what had happened. he was a very curious person but sometimes he god caught up in his own mind and missed out on certain things.

Valarie walked out of the Charms classroom. She hadn't really learned anything, she was barely paying attention to what the Professor had been saying. All that she had been thinking about throughout the period was yesterday. Had it been a dream? No, it had to be real. At least part of it. Maybe the Basiliks weren't real, but everything else was. The Jecht person getting kidnapped and returning bloodstained, the ghost, it was all so... strange. She would ask Selene later if it was all real or if Valarie had just dreamed up the whole thing. She grabbed her textbooks, shoving them into a drawstring bag and heading off to lunch.

Selene looked up and saw Valarie coming in. She waved cheerfully. "hi!"

 

Sarah looked at him. "Hmm... I have Muggle Studies. Quite boring... but I suppose we choose what we choose." she shrugged, finishing her plate off. "What do you know about ghosts, to change the subject? I think the girl Selene said something about one being evil or whatever..." she gazed across the hall to the Gryffindor table, btu Selene wasn't paying attention to her.

The pink-eyed mongoose entered the hall late, and as he did his form began to change. In no time he was a reasonably small, yet fit-looking boy in Gryffindor robes. 5th Year Student Hunter McMurphy. A White haired, pale-skinned, pink-eyed pureblood Wizard. Some of the younger students watched him transform, but everyone slightly older was used to the Animagus' abilities. He wandered over to the Gryffindor table and spoke to Selene and Valarie. "Hey girls!" He said as he took a seat next across the table from Selene. He couldn't help but think she was very pretty. Hunter started to eat his lunch and smiled to the girls, before realising that Jecht was there too. "Hey Jecht." He said warmly. Truth be told McMurphy wasn't really too interested in seeing Jecht, but that wasn't really that major. His attempts at being the lady's man were,sufficiantly thwarted by his white hair and vivid pink eyes.

Selene grinned at the nice animagus. "hey, Hunter. Tail still bushy?" she grinned. "Jus tkidding." she stood up. 'Actually, the trip to Hogsmeade is about to begin, and I'm looking forward to some butterbeer. Are you going to Hogsmeade?" she asked Hunter curiously.

 

Sarah stood up as well. "I'm off to Hogsmeade so I should be packing a bag," she said to Regulus. "I'll see you there if you're coming. Bye!"

OoC: The reason he was late is because he went back to the tower between classes.

 

Hunter stood up, pushing his half-eaten lunch asside and starting to blatantly flirt. "I am if you are." he said with a flirtacious smile on his face. "I wouldn't mind some butterbeer either, maybe we should go to the Three Broomsticks together, huh?" Hunter smiled at Seline showing his teeth. "About the tail. Someone stepped on it between here and the tower before I came down. One of the Slyverine beaters. Chubby bloke. Never bothered to learn his name." Hunter said with a smirk that showed just a hint of competitive superiority. He wasn't arrogant. He was just confident that the Gryffindor team was great this year and he expected big things to come from it.

Selene nodded, taking his flirting in stride. "Of course. Yeah, that beater's pretty large. But Gryffindor's totally got this," she said coolly. "I"ll go get my bag, see you down at the grounds." she waved and began to walk back to the Gryffindor common room.

 

Sarah was gathering her stuff. She had just finished placing in a defective Fake wand she wanted to retur to the joke shop when she turned around and saw nothing anymore. She just had the time to scream before everythign went black.

Hunter turned to her and waved a fond goodbye, before re-assuming his mongoose shape and weaving his way through the crowded room, mostly just staying under tables. He loved being tiny. As the students who were preparing for the trip assembled Hunter joined them, not yet ready to retake human form. he had something else in mind. In his mouth he held a small dungbomb. He spied the slyverine beater who'd previously stepped on his tail and ran, ducking under the boy's ample robes before dropping the bomb and fleeing to a safe distance and re-assuming human form. Leaving the beater, and a large group of fellow Slytherines coughing and swearing at the stench. "Pitty. I'd have liked to save that one." He said with a subtle smile, reffering to the dungbomb he'd originally intended to take for other reasons.

Selene packed her bag and skipped off down to the grounds, joining a small group (but it was growing ever so larger) of students milling around waiting for the Hogsmeade trip to begin. She couldn't wait to get her hands on more prank equipment, or to replenish her stock of Dungbombs and pellets, canary creams, trick wands, and Filibuster wet-start, no-light fireworks. She smiled as she saw the headmistress, McGonagall, coming down the stairs. The trip was about to begin.

She hoped to see Hunter coming.

Hunter walked up to Selene non-chelauntly and pointed out the group of spluttering Slytherines before flashing her the empty dungbomb wrapper and smiling. "I'd like to think I did pretty well." he said to her quietly. McGonagall sighed and waved her wand, causing the smell to imidiately disappear as she grew closer. Hunter's smile however didn't go anywhere as the swearing and spluttering subsided. "Anyway, I was thinking. You've got better stuff to spend your money on than butterbeer. I don't. so how about I buy for both of us?" Hunter asked, he knew Selene would be glad to have more money to spend on pranking goods and the like, and so he hoped that she'd accept his offer.

Luke studied up on the secret passageways, and...found one in the room of requirement to the hog's head inn and bar in hogsmead. After finally finding the painting under its layer of soot, he climbed though the painting, soon finding himself on the other side, the upstairs room of the hog's head. After sneaking out a window with some difficulty, Luke felt something inside him shudder. Sarah. She was gone. he could only hope Selene knew as well, and that if she didn't she was going to hogsmead...he stared at the ground with sightless eyes, and made for hogwarts.

"Ghosts? I read a book about them. Although it did not tell me much about them. Just that they cannot touch you and you cannot touch them. As well as their reason for not passing on is because they have unfinished business here on earth." Regulus answered then began to think. "What else did it say? Oh it talked about poltergeists." He added remembering that it talked about them but it was such a long time ago. "I believe it was in a book my mother gave me when I was ten. before I came to Hogwarts." Regulus then started to think about evil ghosts. "The only thing an evil ghost can do is haunt you and follow you, as well as jump out and scare you. No physical contact can be made. It's the poltergeists you need to worry about." Regulus then smiled and nodded standing up when Sarah stood. "Possibly, I've been thinking about wandering the school while it is more empty. Or catch up on some reading about the schools history." Regulus then sat back down looking around. He wish he had something fun to do today since he had finished his school work already. He didn't feel like going to Hogsmeade though.

"Ooh, that'd be nice.And nice work with the Dungbomb on the Slytherins, they really deserved it." Selene beamed positively. They began their walk down to the Hogsmeade street. "Let's take a trip to the Three Broomsticks, then, and then off to Weasely's Wizard Wheezes? They just bought Zonko's down here and turned it into one of their shops..."

The student group broke up as they reached the main road and the groups of students went off to different place that they wanted to go to.

Sarah didn't feel anything, didnt' see anything. She wasn't even conscious of her limbs, which were moving of their own accord. She straightened up, and began to walk jerky steps out of the Ravenclaw common room.

Hunter didn't often travel far in human form. He prefered to stay small and to wind through crowds with ease rather than being stuck in them. He liked being able to get through tight spaces. But with Selene he would maintain his human shape. The pair arrived at The Three Broomsticks fairly quickly once they made it to Hogsmead and Hunter held the door open for Selene smiling happily as he did so. "Ladies first." He said, trying to be gentlemanly and romantic. Why's it taken me five years here to work up the courage to tell her I'm interested? Hunter, who usually didn't hold anything back, as evidenced by his blatant flirting, which he'd performed for the first time on Selene at lunch, was normally very out going and didn't hold back, but there was something about this particular girl that he really liked. She seemed too good for the Animagus, and he felt that she would reject him. But why not try?
