Bloody Darkness: A Hogwarts RP [[Pg-13/Accepting in OOC/Started]]

Selene nodded to Jecht. "Hi," she said. "I'm Selene. Who're you?" she askedpolitely. She was already missing her other friends; this drove her to make new friends.

She piled a desert onto her plate: a treacle tart.

 

McGonagall stood up. "Five minuts left!" She called to the crowd of students eating. "Please finish up!"

"Fine, don't anwser!" said Sarah in a huff. She turned back to Adam. "So, wheres Harry and Isis?" she asked, looking up and down the table.

 

Adam pointed down the table towards the doors. Students were still trickling in, and Adam had spotted Isis, who was closely followed by Harry. "There they are!" he exclaimed. They watched as the two walked down the table, holding hands. "They finally hooked up!" exclaimed Adam with delight!

 

"It only took 2 years!" Just as they were saying this, Harry and Isis sat down across from them.

 

"Hey guys!" said Harry

It took several seconds for the hello to register, as Tasmin turned her trademark sleepy look on Selene. As a slow thinker, it took a while before she said, "Oh ... hello. You're a Fifth Year, aren't you? I've never seen you with the Sixth Years before." She paused, as if trying to think of her name, which she was. "I'm Tasmin Alibone. I remember my O.W.L year, it was stressful with all the notes, but the written exams were alright. The practicals aren't too difficult either, as long as you practice ... regularly, you'll be fine." The way Tasmin spoke was almost droning, as she very carefully pronounced each word, yet despite the slowness, it was almost difficult to get a word in edgeways, just because you had to hear the whole word before being able to interrupt. Indeed, her sleepy look and slow talking pace, thinking and reaction made perfect sense.

"Hm?" Jecht said, with food still in his mouth. He tried his best to swallow his food as fast as possible without choking on it. He looked over at the girl who had just said something to him. "Hey," Jecht replied nodding his head at her, and wiping food from his mouth with a napkin. "I'm Jecht." He said smiling at her and holding out his hand. It wasn't everyday he had a girl just randomly say 'hi' to him. Which is kinda sad, for Jecht.

[The Final Messenger]

"Uhhhhh but I did answer you," Virgil said, "you probably didn't hear with all the chatter around here." Then Prof. McGonagall said, "1 minute until the feast ends!" To which Virgil replied to himself so nobody could hear, "THANK YOU PROF. MCGONAGALL!" When the feast ended he followed the other Ravenclaw students to their house. Virgil laid down and drifted off to well needed sleep

Selene smiled. "yeah, I can't wait," she said, a tad bit sarcastic. "Just kidding. I'm Selene, and yeah, I'm a fifth year Gryffindor. Are you on the Quidditch team?" she asked. She smiled again.

She turned back to Jecht. "Hi. I'm Selene. How about you? Are you on the Quidditch team?"

McGonagall stood. "It's time for bed. Go!"

"Darn it!" said Harry, as the food disappeared just as he grabbed for some. "Good new is, I bought a lot of sweets from the trolley." He pulled out a few chocolate frogs and absentmindedly bit their heads off.

 

"Toss us a pack of BBEFB would you?" asked Adam. Harry tossed a pack of the famous Jelly Beans.

 

"Be warned, I haven't had a very successful day with flavors! Two earwax's in one pack. I was almost sick! But, I did get a root bear one." Harry warned Adam.

Selene stood up and began to walk with Jecht, Tasmin, and Luke. "Are you guys on the Quidditch team?" she wondered again. She walked side by side with the line of first years that were being led to the common room. SHe couldn't wait to see it again; it was her favorite room of the castle. Very comfy. She smiled at the thought. "I'm going to try out for Chaser this year. I think the tryouts are next friday."

"I'm not," answered Tasmin with her trademark slowness. It took several more seconds for McGonagall's order to register, but when it did, Tasmin got up and drifted off to the Gryffindor Common Room, her feet dragging, her arms hanging lifelessly by her side. Her head seemed to drop forwards, giving the false impression that she was hunchbacked. Her eyes were looking straight ahead with a vacant stare, yet she was perfectly aware of her surroundings. Even as she entered the Gryffindor Common Room, she said goodbye to her new friends and jostled her way through the oncoming crowd with some odd skill, and as she entered her room, she saw her Kneazle curled up on her bed, fast asleep. Tasmin had passed off her Kneazle as a cat, and since none of the Professors knew, she saw no reason why she couldn't keep him, as long as she was strict about where he wandered off to.

 

On seeing her, her Kneazle leapt off and curled up beside her bed. She got changed, and as she got in, glanced down; her pet was already asleep. Seeing as the other Sixth Years were entering, Tasmin's head hit her pillow, and she soon fell asleep.

It must be hard to talk to two people at the same time. Jecht said looking at the girl. "No, I don't play. I always thoiught it would be cool to actually play though." He replied to Selene. Jecht remembered when he had gone to the Quidditch World Cup when he was younger. He couldn't remember much of it, but he knew that the HolyHead Harpies won the Cup. "Well, hope you make it." Jecht said as they walked to the Gyffindor common room.

Luke, after stuff his pockets with sweets he could eat later, walked after everyone into the gyriffindor common room. He stared at the fire for awhile, bt then, not paying attention, climbed the stairway to the girl's dormitory. Soon, the charm engaged and Luke was sent sliding down. He paused as the stairs returned to normality, and...started up them again, only to slide down. This loop was repeated for awhile, developing a crowd of angry gryiffendor girls.

"Thanks," said Selene, beaming at the two of them. "Well, see you then Tasmin," she said. "Wow, I wonder what's up with her..." she said, watching her walk off with the vacant expression. "It's like she had the Dementor's Kiss," she said, as means of a weak joke. She shrugged and continued tow alk with Jecht. "So you're not planning to try out then?" she asked. They arrived at the dorm.

"What is it with all of these zombie people? Luke! That's the girls' room!" she called.

The four 3rd year Ravenclaws set off for their dorm, laughing along the way. "So, you're, like, a thing now?" asked Adam, to the point. He was always like this, to the point, never beating around the bush.

 

"Um, yeah. You could put it like that. We kinda hooked up on our last day in Diagon Alley." said Isis, blushing furiously. Harry nodded his head in agreement, also turning a shade of bright red.

 

"Well, we always saw it coming, didn't we Sarah?" said Adam.

 

"What? Er, yes, yes we did." she said, distracted.

 

"Earth to Sarah. Calling Sarah!" said Isis.

"Oh no." Jecht replied to Selene, as they walked to the common. "With my luck, I'd be hit with a bludger and fall off my broom." He said not liking the idea of falling from great hieghts because of some magical ball. Once he saw someone trying to get up to the girl's staircase and failing misberably every time he couldn't help but laugh. I'll definatly have to figure out a way to get up there this year. Jecht thought as h e watched the girl's close in on the one guy.

Selene shook her head, annoyed. She reached over and dragged Luke away. "Luke. That's the girl's dorm. The BOY'S dorm is on your left." she instructed. She dragged him over to the entrance. "There."

She looked back to Jecht. "I'm going to sleep for tonight. See you in the morning," she said. "Classes start up tomorrow." she walked up the stairs, and into the girl's room.

"Goodnight." Jecht said and starting up the to the boy's room. He walked over to his trunk, and grabbed his pajamas ((Yeah he wears pajamas)), and changed quickly. He picked up Yin, who was sleeping on his bed. "Hey, buddy." He said stroking his cat's fur, as she slept. Yin started to wake up, and looked at Jecht for a second before jumping down and walking away, exploring the common room. Jecht yawned and layed down, falling into a dreamless sleep.

Sarah entered her dorm with Isis, the boys having taken the other staircase. "So, whats your elective?" Isis asked Sarah.

 

"Muggle Studies. You?"

 

"Ancient Runes. I feel like it could be useful to have some knowledge of Ancient Runes in life."

 

"Meh. I heard it was hard. Thought I'd go for an easy, straight-forward option. I wonder if this year'll be normal. I mean, like, nothing special. I hope so. I would just be terrified of anything. I don't know how they did it when Harry Potter attended Hogwarts."

After the feast had ended Elena, still with music flowing through her head, followed the rest of the Slytherins down through the dungeon and into the common room. Ignoring the other Slytherins, she headed straight for the girls dormitory and dived onto her bed. Laying with her eyes closed, she thought of her day. She'd met quite an outgoing Gryffindor girl as well as a fourth year Gryffindor who turns out to be a seer. "Quite an eventful day." she thought to herself. Wondering when the tryouts for the Quidditch team were, as she new they had lost their keeper and seeker, she thought she'd try for the position of keeper. She had a decent broom and the reflexes to spot, and catch, speeding objects so why shouldn't she? "Although," she thought, "it would be odd being a girl on the Slytherin team. It's not as if they usually had anyone other than the trollish thugs or the sons of Death Eaters." As she thought of herself playing keeper and listened to the music in her ears, she drifted into sleep, while the giant squid swam through the lake, on the other side of the wall.

Virgil was up awake before anyone else was, like usual. He walked to the common room and waited for more students to wake up. "I might as play my cello like I usually do until class starts," he said getting on his robe and opening his cello case and took it out of the case. Then he perfectly, but quietly played Bach's Cello Suite No. 1. When he was done he chose a new song and finished it. This went on until some first years woke up and wondered where the music was coming from.

Selene jumped up, out of bed, always the morning person. She got ready and walked downstairs, hoping to see Tasmin, Luke, or jecht, or maybe a combination of one of them. She slapped herself in the face and ran up to get her bookbag. She ran back down, looking around.

"Jecht? Tasmin? Luke?" she asked.

She sat down, wondering if they had already left.

Falling out of bed, music still going, Elena woke with a jolt. Removing her earphones, she stood up. Looking around, she noticed that she was the only one awake. Instead of trying to get back to sleep, she dressed herself, picked up her books, quills and parchment and headed into the common room. There were a few others awake after all but Elena didn't really care, she had no one in Slytherin she could call a friend, they were far too likely to stab he in the back. Checking the notice board for any sign of Quidditch try outs and noticing the piece of parchment pinned to the wall, Elena checked the schedule for try outs and, thankfully, the try outs were scheduled for next Saturday. Scribbling her name down to apply for keeper, she smiled to herself. If she made it in it'd make quite a change to the usual line-up. Striding out of the common room, patting the drum beat for "Undisclosed Desires" on her legs, and heading for the great hall, Elena felt elated. It was Potions first, perhaps her best subject, and she needed an excuse to mix a Draught of Living Death. Seating herself at the Slytherin table, she grabbed a couple of slices of toast as well as a handful of bacon and feasted on the two while waiting for lessons to start.

Selene walked out, and saw the tryouts sheet on the bulletin board. She signed her name in her signature messy scrawl onto the sheet, saying that she wanted to be Chaser. She continued to walk out to the Great Hall.

She saw Elena sitting at the Slytherin table already, and she waved. She had to sit at the Gryffindor table, though, so she sat down and had some eggs and bacon. She pulled out her potions book and wondered what they were doing. Well, at the start of the year, probably at the beginning of the book, she thought to herself, eating breakfast.

Seeing Selene entering the hall and waving reminded Elena, they were in the same class for potions. Waving back and heading over to the Gryffindor table, to hell with others opinions and any rules that there may be, she sat beside Selene. "Hello Selene," Elena said warmly, "we're in the same potions class today, right? it's probably my best subject." She pause and looked a at the page Selene was reading in the book. "Haven't read any of it yet? I've gone through it all already, although it's the only school book I read before school. Potions is really an interesting point for me." Realising how chatty, and boastful, she had gotren, her face reddened. "Sorry," she said, quite embarrassed, "I don't usually go on like that. Anyway, want to sit at the same table during potions?"

Jecht was awoken by the sound of somebody calling his name. He looked around groggily, looking around, his vision still blurry. He looked at his clock, it was way too early to wake up yet. Whoever was calling him really didn't know what were appropriate times for waking up. Jecht dressed himself in his robes and began walking down the many stairs to the Great Hall. He wished they had an elevator. A muggle invention, that was actually useful. He sat down by Selene. "Hey." He muttered, still half asleep. He thought he saw a Slytherin student sitting on the other side of Selene but was too tired to really care at this point. Jecht was grabbing bacon from the plate, not bothering to put it on his own plate.

Selene grinned brightly. "Sure!" she then saw that Jecht had sat down next to her. "Elena, this is Jecht. Jecht, Elena. She's probably the nicest Slytherin I know!" she added with a light laugh. "I've skimmed the books, though I haven't really read it. I've read the transfiguration book, and the Defense against the Dark Arts book as well!" she told Elena, turning back to the Slytherin girl. She was a relatively fast eater, so she had scarfed down her eggs. It was amazing how hungry she could get in the morning. "Well, anyways, I hope OWL year isn't too harsh."
