OOC: I thought luke would end up bieng the ghost

"That cannot be good," Virgil said looking at Luke body drenched in blood, "But now part of the prophecy is fufilled, if this is just gonna happen I don't feel need to investigate but WHY exactly would someone attack someone and keep them alive I see no sense in that, and then there's also the question of WHO" Virgil ran to Luke and held up his body although not much effort was needed, "Uhh, umm, how would I start this?" Virgil questioned himself before yelling, "Is a Doctor in the house?"

Selene stared and almost screamed at the sight of Luke but reassured herself that her worst suspicions had not been confirmed-- he was not the ghost they had seen. She stood up and ran towards him, the first of many students coming to see what had happened.

"Stand ASIDE!" commanded McGonagall imperiously as she waved her arms, trying to get in.

"Take him to Madam Pomfreys!" she ordered the teachers around her. Flitwick waved his wand and conjured a stretcher, and they loaded Luke onto the stretcher. "Leave us be, back to your dinner!"

Selene obediently went back to her dinner with wide eyes. "What the HECK was that about?" she asked a little loudly.

"I honestly don't know...." Vigil responded.

[skip to Tonight's Midnight Girl's Bathroom Heist]

Virgil snuck around the halls towards the stairs, he caught sight of Filch and crouche down and hid in a passage way near by until he left. Virgil got to the stairs and thought, Where the H3ll are the others!? He walked to the Griffindor painting and sat beside it so it wouldn't see him, but even if it did he would just use a spell on the fat lady. He breathed in and stood up he saw Filch and hid agian, when Filch left for the next floor he got out of his hiding spot.

Selene woke up several minutes late but grabbedher wand and changed into normal clothes and stepped out ofthe painting. Luckily the Fat Lady was snoring deeply so she wasn't seen.

She looked around and saw Virgil. "let's wait for the others..." she said.

She looked impatiently around and waited for Jecht. "Is Elena coming with us?" she wondered, naming the nice Slytherin that she ahd met earlier. "I don't remember asking her..."

"Well I think Tasmin said she would come, and so did Jecht, I don't know about Elena," Virgil responded look around the corner seeing if Filch was around; he wasn't, "and Luke's out of comission." Virgil walked around and finally said, "Let's just go, I wrote a letter that says 'I/We are at the Bathroom meet us there' in case somethng like we are rushed happens." He set down the letter in a place so if you opened it you'd see it, but if you were on the outside you could barely see it.

"Alrighty then..." Selene nodded, but wasn't comfortable with leaving them behind.

She shrugged and followed Virgil, looking around to make sure no teachers were coming. They reached the staircase room.

It looked eerily ethereal after dark.

She was unabashed and she walked after Virgil onto the third floor, and they found that the bathroom door was open a crack.

They walked inside and looked around, and Selene squeaked in fright.

There, on the wall was...

"Just as the night seems to end,

Every single trouble seems just a passing trend, the

Color of red soils the meal, and

He is the corpse,

The best of the veal."

And it was written in red, and dripping.

Obviously blood.

Virgil rubbed his finger on the blood and smelt it, "Smells like... Gryffindor," Virgil said, then he wrote down the writing on the wall on the shirt tag on the back of shirt, "let's, wait! look at what the letters say it's and Acrostic poem that spells Jecht! I think something bad is going to happen to him, so I think we should wait for him instead." Virgil then said, "No, I'm not scared, Jecht's not dead, this isn't his blood, and, urgh, sorry I can't convince myself Jecht is safe and sound, let's keep going."

"How would you know it's Gryff-- oh my god."

Something just occured to her.

Luke's hands had been covered in blood.

He hadn't been seen all afternoon.

"What if Luke wrote this? What if he was possessed or something?!" she wondered wildly. "That would explain... someone's possessing peoplein the castle!? Jecht's next? Luke's a seer, maybe he predicted this while he was possessed!"

"I think you know what I'm thinking; Luke got Jecht or is going to get Jecht." Virgil shook his head, "No he couldn't be possesed I don't know of a spell that can posses someone, but I know a spell that can make someone do your bidding, I think it was Imperio." Then he thought back to what Luke said, and said, "Imbued in blood, written in blood, WRITTEN IN BLOOD THAT'S IT!"

-A manacial laughing came from deep inside the bathroom. "Well done, children...". Commanded a deep voice. "You've made it this far...". slowly, a figure emerged, the moonlight going straight though it, and painted with blood. Then, Luke stepped out, still wearing blood-stained robes. "Hi!". He said, excitedly. "What's up with...whoa, that sounds like something I'd say.". He said, pointing to the painted poem on the wall.

"mm." Selene nodded, more than a little creeped out. "So basically, everyone that's possessed...or imperiused, as you put it, then they write the next victim's name on the wall? Wow. We're lucky that Luke's alive."

For now, she mentally finished her thought.

"If Jecht's the next victim.." she muttered, thinking hard. "Then... we gotta keep him away from this place. I bet Luke came in here by accident. He said he had to go to the bathroom... we gotta keep Jecht away from here." she repeated.

She looked up and stared as Luke came out.

"Y-you did...we think you were imperiused..." she was usually a fast thinker, but this was too much for her to handle... she slumped against the wall. "Jecht's the next target."

"I can't protect Jecht, so Selene, it's officially your job to protect him," Virgil said, then he turned to Luke, pointed his wand a him and said, "Finite." Then a beam of energy hit Luke in the chest but not damaging him, "If you want to know, that spell negates the effect of spells, so if he was Imperized, the Jecht wouldn't be captured or what not." Virgil then said, "I'm going to bed, goodnight."

Selene glanced at Virgil and shrugged. Too businesslike. She turned to Luke then back. "You know, nothing could neutralize the effects of an UNFORGIVEABLE curse. that's what Imperius is, y'know. You alright, Luke? Remember anything?" she still was under suspicions that it was possession and not imperiulization.

She looked at him completely. "We need to get you a bath. You know, they carried you to the hospital wing."

Luke watched Jecht leave. "Well, that could have been pointless. And by could, I mean was. And by been...I also mean was. And...well, yeah, the rest is pretty much literal.". Luke ran his hand over the wall, leaving a trail of blood. "They gave me a though examination, and...well, I'm fine. I just have a big gaping hole in my memory...and then I was in the hospital wing.". he sighed, looking down. "What does the rest of this poem mean? The part about veal is the most interesting...veal is baby deer, and it's often known as being cruel to the animal."

Selene shrugged. "I dunno." She had wished Virgil didn't leave. It wasn't anything like liking him, she just didn't like blood.

"Let's get you back to the common room, then." she said, determinedly, and she began to walk forward. "You sure you're alright?" she wondered, as she turned back to him. 'Come on, I dont' wanna get caught by Filch or anyone else."

There was a whoosh outside and she stiffened, fearing the worst. She turned around slowly and was face tof ace with:

Nearly headless NIck.

She breathed a sigh of relief, then looked athim, wondering if he was going to tell them off for being up.

"These are terrible times. I'm not alloewd to tell you. But i'll let you go back without me telling on you. Hurry up now." was all Nick said, then he whooshed away.

"Boy, you'd better have a reason to be out this late," Filch said doing the disapprovig finger wag to Virgil in front of the Gryffindor door. "I uhhh- Okay you got me just bring me to Professor McGonagall and sort out my punsihment, okay," Virgil responded. "Go," Filch said following Virgil to the Headmaster's office. "What did he do?" McGonagall asked Filch to which he replied, "I caught 'im sneaking out." She turned to Virgil and said, "Detention, tommorow."

Jecht was trying to stay awake until midnight for the "Great Bathroom Hiest". Retarded name. Its not like were thieves going to break into Griggotts to steal something. He thought getting tired. He never was good at staying awake, even though he was just trying to stay awake until midnight. He had tried to do all the homework, which wasn't easy. Without his knowing he fell into his sleep. Jecht snored rather loudly in his sleep. At midnight he just continued to sleep, completely missing the plan to check out the girl's bathroom.

Selene led Luke back to the Gryffindor Common room and yawned. "Get yourself a bath; you don't want to stain your sheets with blood. I'm going to bed."

She yawned again and stumped up the stairs to the girl's room and climbed into bed.

"Where were YOU?" a nosy girl hissed. The nosy girl was on the bed to the right of you.

"You wouldn't have the brain capacity to understand," she mumbled blearily, giving the best comeback she could.

Waking, hours after midnight and still on the solitary sofa, Elena wiped the sleep from her eyes and sat up. No-one was in the common room and, evidently, no-one cared enough that she was sleeping on the sofa. Feeling distinctly hungry, dinner had come and gone without conscious thought, Elena got to her feet and strode over to the dormitories. Deciding that, after sleeping for so long, that she would rather take the risk of a night-time stroll over laying in bed and hoping for more sleep. Collecting her potions equipment, doing nothing wouldn't be exhausting, and heading for the exit Elena thought of the further punishment she would receive. Figuring that if she would get a detention for sleeping through a few lesson, a night-time adventure wouldn't do any real harm.

Heading out of the dungeons, and making a beeline for an exit to the grounds, Elena drew her wand and readied herself for any locks. Fortunately she was unblocked in her attempts and headed towards the lake as she left the insides of the castle. Pulling out her potions equipment and started a small fire. Placing the cauldron on top of the fire and throwing a few ingredients into it's depths, Elena sighed and wondered silently if there was a real punishment for being found, asleep, outside of the castle. As she leant back and flicked her wand at small pebbles to force them to skip over the surface, occasionally throwing other ingredients into the heated cauldron. After a half hour of silence and brewing, Elena checked on her potion. A bright-yellow liquid stared back at her and, after taking a small sip, a wonderful feeling of elation overcame her. Quietly singing to herself, Elena allowed most of the night to pass by quickly until, finally, the strong embrace of exhaustion overcame her and, after cleaning up after herself, she headed back to her common room and crawled into a bed, still singing, ever so quietly.

The next week was a complete blur. Selene almost forgot-- well no, how could she forget the image of the bathroom wall splattered with blood and Luke covered in the vile, sticky stuff too? But it passed out of her consciousness while she was awake, though it did produce a number of nasty nightmares while she was asleep. The week passed uneventfully (unless you counted Selene accidentally making her quill explode in Defense Against the Dark Arts), and soon Saturday morning had come: The time for Quidditch tryouts.

Selene had pulled on her robes and had grabbed her broom: it was a nice Nimbus 2001. How she would KILL for a Firebolt! She shouldered it, leaving her bag in its place on the side of her bed, and walked downstairs, looking around hopefully for Jecht or Luke.

The week went by in a sea of boredum and detention, and soon enough it was Saturday. Virgil got his robes on and walked across to the Quidditch field, and not to his surprise he was the first one to the field so he sat at the commentator seat and pretended he was an official commentator, but unbeknownst to him he was being watched by the talent judge or whatever. Who greeted him and told him he was the commentator to which Vrigil replied, "I knew it."

Jecht felt a little wierd over the next weekl, like everyone was focused on him. He asked if something was wrong or if he had done something but they didn't say anything. He just tried to shake the feeling. This morning he rolled out of bed, litterally hitting the floor with a loud thud. He just layed there, not wanting to wake up. Finally he got up and got dressed. He walked down the stairs lazily. He saw Selene down there with her broom in hand. "Hey," He said looking at her, after a second he realized that today was Quidditch tryouts. "Wait was that today?!"

Luke stared down at his own broom, the one-of-a-kind Dreamcatcher. "I think so. i've never tried quittich. wish me luck! Oh, and Jecht? I just predicted you as the bloody bathroom's next victim. No worries!". Luke lumped gaily out the fat-lady's portrait, and made his way down to quittich tryouts at the field. He looked around, trying to figure out what was going on from the three hoops on either side of the field. Soon, he decided he would try his best to become Keeper or seeker for gryffindor, hopefully seeker.

Selene waved at them and walked down to the pitch, with Jecht and Luke. "Way to be cheerful, Luke," she snorted in derision. "Don't worry. All you have to do is keep away from the bathroom, Jecht."

The captain's name was Aaron Caiden, and he had a loud, booming voice that could he heard all over the pitch. He was an excellent Chaser.

"Alright! First tryouts, we're doing keeper! All keeper wannabes step forth!" he yelled.

Awaking and throwing on her muggle clothes, weekends are no time for robes, Elena left the Slytherin common room with her broom clutched in her hand. It was an old Nimbus 1000 but it still reached higher speeds than most newer brooms, other than the newer Nimbus' and Firebolt's of course, and it had some extra charms placed on it that put it on the same level of safety as all the new brooms. Hurrying across the grounds to the Quidditch stadium with her heart thumping in her chest and hoping that, though she new she was quite early for the Slytherin tryouts, she would at least get to see the other houses tryouts, particularly Gryffindors. Making her way into the stands, Elena took a seat and kept an eye out for Selene and anyone else she knew.
