HALFWAY MARK TO 1000!!!!!!!! :D here's a new archeype i've decided to start to celebrate, the "Tiamats", all sea monsters themed (cause they're awesome). only 7 for now, plz tell me if you like them, and if i should continue. Enjoy :) Monsters [spoiler=Tiamat - the Mutant of the Sea] Lore:When this card declares an attack, you can decrease this card's DEF to 0, and increase this card's ATK by the same amount until your next Standby Phase. If this effect was activated, switch this card to Defense Position during your End Phase. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Devourer of the Sea] Lore:If this card declares an attack, you can pay Life Points equal to half the targeted monster's ATK to destroy the monster immediately without applying damage calculation. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Lurker of the Sea] Lore:When this card is in Defense Position, it cannot be targeted by card effects. You can pay 500 Life Points for this card to attack while in Defense Position. If this card attacks while in Defense Position, apply the ATK of this card for damage calculation. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Tank of the Sea] Lore:If this card is in Defense Position, destroy this card. If this card is selected as an attack target, you can pay Life Points equal to half the attacking monster's ATK to switch the ATK and DEF of this card until the end of the Damage Step. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Striker of the Sea LV5] Lore:During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacked a Defense Position monster, switch this card to Defense Position during the End Phase. If this card was switched to Defense Position by its own effect, during your next Standby Phase, you can send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Tiamat - the Striker of the Sea LV7" from your hand or Deck. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Striker of the Sea LV7] Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Tiamat - the Striker of the Sea LV5". During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card declared an attack, switch this card to Defense Position. This card gains 100 ATK, and loses 100 DEF for every Trap and Spell card on the field. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Hunter of the Sea] Lore:1 "Tiamat " Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersThis card can attack all monsters your opponent controls. Pay Life Points equal to the total Level Stars of the monsters destroyed by this card's effect x 100. Switch this card to Defense Position during the End Phase this effect was activated, this card must remain in Defense Position for turns equal to the number of monster's destroyed by this card's effect. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Swarm of the Sea] Lore:When this card is destroyed by battle, destroy all cards on your side of the field. Decrease your Life Points by 100 for every card destroyed by this effect, Special Summon 5 "Tiamat Token" (Sea Serpent-Type/WATER/Level 3/ATK 400/DEF 0). The Special Summoned "Tiamat Token" can attack your opponent directly. If all 5 "Tiamat Token" are destroyed, Special Summon this card. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Deceiver of the Sea] Lore:Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to a "Tiamat" monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, the equipped monster must be selected as an attack target, and gains DEF equal to the attacking monster's Level x 300 during damage calculation only. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, this card is destroyed instead. SUPPORTS/SUB-ARCHETYPE [spoiler=Tiamat - the Lurer of the Sea] Lore:If you control this monster, your opponent cannot select any other monster you control as an attack target. If this card is attacked by a Level 3 or lower monster, toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, destroy the attacking monster, and add half the attacking monster's ATK to this card. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Cursed Men of the Sea] Lore:When this card is used in the Synchro Summon of a "Tiamat" monster, you can pay Life Points equal to the Level Stars of the summoned monster x 100 to equip this card as a Equip Spell to a monster your opponent controls. When the equipped monster declares an attack, remove this card from play to change and select the attack target. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Breeder of the Sea] Lore:This card cannot be removed from the field as long as you control at least 1 face-up "Tiamat" monster (damage calculation is applied). Once per turn, During your Standby Phase, you can place 1 Baby Counter on a monster your opponent controls (max. 1), or a Motherly Counter or Fatherly Counter on a "Tiamat" monster you control (max. 1 for both). A monster with a Baby Counter must select a monster with a Fatherly Counter as an attack target, and cannot select a monster with a Motherly Counter as an Attack Target (not applied if a monster has both Motherly and Fatherly Counters). If a monster has both Motherly and Fatherly Counters on it, it can destroy a monster with a Baby Counter immediately without applying damage calculations, if you activate this effect, remove both Counters from that monster during the End Phase. [spoiler=Tiamat - the Toy of the Sea] Lore:This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:This card cannot be destroyed by battle (damage calculation is not applied). A monster attacked by this card must select this card as an attack target. [spoiler=the Lord of the Bathypelagic] Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 "Tiamat" monsters you control. As long as this card does not declare an attack, it is unaffected by card effects, and cannot be selected as an attack target. This card can only declare an attack every 3 turns. If this card declares an attack, this card must remain in Attack Position and must be selected as an attack target. [spoiler=the Lord of the Abyssopelagic] Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 face-up "Tiamat" monsters you control. When this card is Summoned, select up to 3 monsters your opponent controls, when the selected monster(s) declare an attack, you can change and select the attack target. During the End Phase, for each monster that had its attack target changed by this card's effect, pay Life Points equal to its Level Stars x 100. [spoiler=the Lord of the Epipelagic]Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 face-up "Tiamat" monsters you control. Once per turn during your Standby Phase, by sending 1 "Tiamat" monster or 1 Spell or Trap Card you control to the Graveyard, you can place 1 Sea-Sickness Counter on a monster your opponent controls (max. 1). During each of your opponent's Standby Phases, he/she must select and activate one of the following effects on every monster he/she controls with a Sea-Sickness Counter on it:• This monster cannot declare an attack or change its position this turn.• This monster loses 500 ATK and DEF.• This monster has its effect negated this turn. As long as your opponent controls this face-up card, all monsters he/she controls are destroyed during the End Phase of the turn they were Summoned, increase this card's ATK and DEF by each destroyed monster's Level x 100. This card's effect can destroy a number of monsters equal to the Total Levels of the monsters used to Summon this card divided by 2 (rounded up), when this card's effect has destroyed all the monsters it can, it is switched to Attack Position and can declare an attack once, during the End Phase this card declares an attack, destroy this card and inflict 200 damage to the attack target's controller for every card destroyed by this card's effect. SPELLS[spoiler=Strike of the Abyss] Lore:Select 1 "Tiamat" monster you control. The selected monster can attack your opponent directly this turn. During the End Phase, switch the selected monster to Defense Position. [spoiler=The Maze Cave of the Tiamats] Lore:All Sea Serpent-Type monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF. When a "Tiamat" or "Pelagic" monster you control is selected as an attack target, shuffle all "Tiamat" and "Pelagic" monsters you control, and place them in face-down Defense Position. You opponent must then choose an attack target from the face-down monsters. If the new attack target has equal to or less than 700 DEF, you can pay Life Points equal to its DEF to triple its DEF until the end of the Damage Step. if the new attack target has more than 700 DEF, you can pay Life points equal to its DEF to double its DEF until the end of the Damage Step. At the end of the Battle Phase, return the monsters still remaining on the field to their original positions. [spoiler=Cavern Maze Trap] Lore:This card's name is treated as "The Maze Cave of the Tiamats". All Sea Serpent-Type monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. When a "Tiamat" or "Pelagic" monster you control is selected as an attack target, shuffle all "Tiamat" and "Pelagic" monsters you control, and place them in face-down Defense Position. You opponent must then choose an attack target from the face-down monsters. You can decrease the ATK of the new attack target and increase its DEF by the same amount until the End Phase of your next turn. [spoiler=the Eternal Pelagic Pearl] Lore:Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 Spell or Trap Card to Special Summon 1 monster equipped to "the Eternal Abyss" to your side of the field, you must also pay Life Points equal to the Level of the Summoned monster x 100. If this card would be removed from the field or flipped face-down, you can discard 1 Spell or Trap Card instead. TRAPS [spoiler=the Eternal Abyss] Lore:Any "Tiamat" and "Pelagic" monsters that would be removed from the field while in Defense Position are equipped to this card instead. EDIT:oh wait, i already added one. All are very nice. And about the spell: Lol, Jaws.
