A place filled with slightly less noobs. It was a fun place. Plus, since I was new there, I quickly made some friends.

 

What did other members think of you when you first joined?

 

I don't really know. Some of them thought I was awesome. Some thought I was completely like a noob when making a card. Others didn't knew I existed.

 

Whats made you stay on YCM for 2 years ?

 

Too much free time, my friends on here, and of course, me wanting to make cards.

 

Where did you get the idea for you name ?

 

I'm part of the VK. As such, I put the "VK" before my name. Originally, I was planning to be EX-Duelist. But then I joined VK.

 

How much time do you spend on YCM every day/week ?

 

I spend at least 6 or 5 hours when I have school. 10 to 5 hours when I have completely nothing to do.

 

How was your first day in YCM?

 

All I remember was checking out the realistic section, looking at other people's cards. I was completely noobish back in the day, and thought that there was no difference between Drakes and Dragons. As such, I created the Drake type monsters. They were basically Dragon type monsters but vanillas.

 

Who was your first friend here?

 

Ether Flandre Scarlet, or Arm.

 

Did you like any members that have been banned so far?

Who if anyone introduced you to YCM ?

 

I came here by accident. I was just browsing the Lolwiki when I found a link to this site.

 

What advice would you give to a new member of YCM ?

 

Read the rules. Always obey the rules. If you don't, me and Putin will find you and destroy you.

 

If you could meet 5 members of YCM in real life who would you pick and why?

 

Flandre Scarlet, Armadilloz, Crab Helmet, Otaku-sama, and of course, Kenta.

 

Whats your happiest day in YCM so far? Was it a special day, special moment?

 

When I was crowned "Ruler of the Under-Meta".

 

Do you see your self as a respected member of YCM if so why ?

 

No. I doubt anyone but a few people know who I am. Nor would they care.

 

Do you think YCMaker should add anything to the card maker and If so what ?

 

All I merely ask is to make a YCM game in which the player is new to YCM and go on "dates" with the members, and hopefully, reach 3rd base.

 

Have you done anything in YCM to improve the site and if so what ?

 

I report posts. Nothing else.

 

What would you be doing if you where not a member of YCM ?

 

I would be on another forum.

 

What surprises you most about YCM?

 

Noobs.

 

If you were a Mod, what would you do in the first day?

 

Ban all noobs who break the rules.

 

Who is the best mod on YCM in your opinion ?

 

Icy, Crab Helmet, Chaos Pudding, Yin, and of course, Frunk.

 

Where do you see yourself in a years time on YCM ?

 

Still doing what I do. Harassing noobs and posting meh cards.

 

Who if anyone would you choose to be the next mod ?

 

Armadilloz or Flandre Scarlet. Dark is my best bet though.

 

What would be the first thing you would do if you had YCMaker's account for a day ?

 

Ban all noobs who troll and break the rules, promote and demote mods based on my past experiences on how they do their jobs, and of course, create a fire arms and weapons section.

 

Whats more important Posts or reps and why ?

 

Posts. Reps are nothing and only shows another person's opinion on you.

Both. Icy is my friend on PSN, and Crab is my master.

Yin. I never met Rinne.

 

Why did you bother with this interview?

 

I did it for teh lulz. Also, because I was interested.

on day i think so 3-4 hours, in a Week so 20 hours

New members should at first read the rules and should look around the forum for gettting the feeling what is right and what is wrong

Enrise, Monkey, WiiOmi, HP Doom and Alcander

 

there are all great persons, great in what there are doing

I think it was the day when my Custom Card Image got sticked the 2nd time XD

I think i know the basic for this forum, many members like and respect me but some people in Showcase think I'm a noob because i cannot do tags like then (i hate such persons)

 

Do you think YCMaker should add anything to the card maker and If so what ?

 

I think a Gold Rare would be nice and the Gold Sticker, that would make some shops dead thought^^

 

I see you the owner of Custom Card Image Archive what gave you the inspiration to start making custom images ?

 

The inspirations was definetly Father Wolf and the lack of images besides his ;)

 

Do you think it was successful and a reason why ?

 

I think it is pretty successful, i got over 1200 posts and i see often my images in card that make me happy

 

Have you done anything in YCM to improve the site and if so what ?

 

Not really, but i keep looking for wrong threads and report them without posting in it^^

 

What would you be doing if you where not a member of YCM ?

 

i would play more soccer manager browser games thought

I think a mod should only do something if he is needed, so i think i would only lock the threads that were reported or something like this

I think posts aren't that important, because you can have 10000 post and can be a noob, and reps are some information about the member from other peoble often helpful

Well, the site had the MyBB format (which I still personally like more), but it crashed everyday on a daily basis, which made some YCMembers wet themselves with angst. Still, YCM was a more active community back then. There were more veterans around, and not as many newbies. I think the crash and change scared a lot of people off.

 

What did other members think of you when you first joined?

 

"You're the best newbie ever."

"You're hella overrated."

 

Whats made you stay on YCM for over a year?

 

Silly Striker, I haven't been here for a year. Proofreading is power.

 

The friends that I've made here have kept me coming back to YCM though. It's like a crack addiction, I swear.

 

Where did you get the idea for you name?

 

Well, I love the game Okami, so my first choice was going to be "Amaterasu". However, someone had taken it already, because they obviously had awesome taste. So, I focused on my love for Pokemon, and eventually my thoughts turned to Gym Leaders. Clair is the coolest, so there you have it.

 

How much time do you spend on YCM every day/week?

How was your first day in YCM?

 

Well, I posted in the Newb Defense League first, by someone's recommendation. Then I played around with the card maker and joined other clubs for about an hour. I remember joining Club Pichu. Fun place. xD

 

Who was your first friend here?

 

Sweet Lightning brought me here, but my first friend that I didn't know irl was Saint Dane. ^^

 

He welcomed me to the NDL, gave me my first rep, and even was the first one to welcome me in my introduction thread. What a guy. ;D

 

Did you like any members that have been banned so far?

 

~Soul (Smeargle) was awesome. He was one of my first buddies in the Clubs section.

 

I don't even know if he's unbanned now, but I miss him. ><

 

I know Sweet Lightning brought you here. How did he convince you?

What advice would you give to a new member of YCM?

 

Don't spam, please read the rules, and use proper grammar. Then again, this is YCM.

The day after I posted my introduction thread. That thing got so many replies. I felt proud of myself.

Not really. In hindsight, I was sitting at my computer, watching my YCM addiction begin.

 

At the time it was good fun. ^^

Well, I got bored, tbh.

 

This is Yugioh Card Maker. And the Card Maker is why I joined. I decided that I would try it out again and see what RC had to say.

 

Do you think you made the right choice by going to RC?

 

People seem to like the cards that I've made, so yes. ;D

 

However, the sub-forum didn't have many good reviewers when I first came back. I think it's getting better now.

 

Have you done anything in YCM to improve the site and if so what?

 

I've graced YCM with my presence.

 

Nah, I can't really say that I've done anything major for the well-being of this site.

 

What would you be doing if you where not a member of YCM?

TYPO.

 

I would try to take over the world... I would give the 110 percents... I would work the overtime... I would be the team player... I would put in the hours... I would get the hands dirty...

Reps have always been more important to me, but I'll admit, I don't like them as much now. People don't have to give a reason anymore. That made reps more special to me.

 

At least you know that someone appreciates your post. That's more important to me than just post count in general.

I dunno... I like writing, and my English teacher last year was one of my favorites.

Neither. Reps used to be, but with this new forum... they are more pointless... they only show good/bad posts, and they are abusable.

Crab. I like her style, and, although she is a bit brash, it is what is needed.

Yin. My experiences with Yin have been nothing but good and helpful.

Bad Review-

 

Firstly, this card can only be used to full effect when backed by other Crystal Beasts and CB Support cards. Without them, this card becomes a usless piece of junk. In addition when using it in a deck, the right cards are needed to take full advantage of his effects, for example...without CB Cobalt Eagle, this card could only transferone Crystal Beast to your spell and Trap- which helps I suppose but it is really not enough.

 

In addition, the defense of this card is poor. If it came up against any card that changes monsters into Defense position you are stuffed, (Which is basically the same for all Crystal Beast now I come to think of it, excepting Emerald tortoise)

 

Good Review-

 

When this card comes together with the right other cards you can have a very powerful deck on your hands, for example. Normal Summon Pegasus to the field from your hand and activate his effect. Select Cobalt Eagle to be placed into your Spell and Trap card zone. Use Cobalts effect to place Pegasus back on the top of your deck, allowing you to keep placing CB's in your S+T card zone until your have 7...Which means Rainbow Dragon...

 

In addition, this card has a fairly good attack for a simple 4 star monster, which means this card can also be used to protect yourself in the first few turns of a duel...

 

Overall this card is dodgy, it needs backup before it can be used effectvly, but isn't that like most cards. I would give Pegasus a 7/10
