Dandelo
You can Special Summon this card from your hand when you take Battle Damage from a direct attack. Then, if your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to the difference in Life Points as long as this card is face-up on the field. When this card is Special Summoned by it's own effect, it gains these effect: - When this card destroys an opponent's monster with 1000 ATK or less, any Battle Damage is halved and your opponent randomly discards 1 card. - Once per turn, if there are no cards in your opponent's hand, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. Dandelo
If you could elaborate on why it's overpowered, that'd be nice. Other than that, thanks for the comment.
Orange Lightning
well, not only a quick and easy summon, a couple life points is a small sacrifice for this card. plus you can always tribute 2 cards. it even eliminates your opponents hand and field. also, there's a void, what if there isn't any spell or trap cards. if you keep it like this, ad 1 or 2 stars. love the pic, and love the name. but everything isn't that great because of how OPed it is. remove the discarding part to make it less OPed and make the first part the only way to summon it +rep?? Dandelo
Erm, the only way this card's effect comes into... effect is if he is Special Summoned in that specific way. Thus, you'd HAVE to take the direct hit from a monster your opponent controls—and it could be a potentionally strong one, if you're unlucky. And there is no loop hole with his last effect: it stats that you CAN destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card, implying that it is optional. If there is no Spell or Trap Card, then you don't destroy one. Also, there is the drawback of damage being halved. I'd say Gorz, an already existing card, is equal in power to this card, if not more overpowered, considering his stats. Jаy Jаy
Compared to the already overused Battle Fader, this card is very OP. I suggest you change the effect to this, or something similar to this: You can Special Summon this card from your hand when you take Battle Damage from a direct attack. Then, if your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to the difference in Life Points as long as this card is face-up on the field. When this card is Special Summoned by it's own effect, it gains these effect: ● When this card destroys an opponent's monster with 1000 ATK or less, any Battle Damage is halved and your opponent randomly discards 1 card. ● Once per turn, if there are no cards in your opponent's hand, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. It could be the new Gorz :D
Dandelo
I don't know if i'm not reading that "new" effect clearly or not, but it seems... exactly the same, only worded differently.
Jаy Jаy
I don't know if i'm not reading that "new" effect clearly or not, but it seems... exactly the same, only worded differently. There is many differences. First, your effect activates when your opponent attacks, my effect activates after you take damage. This will balance it out since it would cause a replay and you will not take damage from the direct attack. The other thing is, your effect has 2 effects that can be used at any time. My effect only allows it to use the effects if it was special summoned by it's own effect and the 2nd effect is also once per turn. This again, balances it out.Without the restrictions in my effect, your card is extremely OP.
Dandelo
No, it's exactly the same... only your OCG is correct and more explanatory. I meant it to be exactly how you've described it, only I couldn't word it correctly, apparently. So thank you for the OCG corrections. Have yourself some +rep.
