Recommended Posts

Welcome to a new archetype, which is a collab between me, LeoMence and ♥Łövëły Ċ.Ċ♥

This archetype, will be similar in ways to the Ice Barrier archetype, in the way that it is advantage savvy and very good.

When looking at the card creators, use this guide to see who made what:

Now, how about we see some of these cards?

[spoiler=Monster Cards]

140019.jpg

When this card is Summoned, select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, that cards Level is treated as 1.

---

140019.jpg

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can discard 1 card from your hand to select 1 Spell or Trap Card Zone on your opponent's field. It cannot be used as long as this card remains face-up on the field.

---

140019.jpg

You can Normal Summon this monster without Tributes if your opponent controls a Level 5 or higher monsters. When this card is Normal Summoned by this effect, your opponent monster send cards from the top of their Deck to the Graveyard equal to the Level of the highest Level monster they control.

---

140019.jpg

When this card is Normal Summoned, switch it to face-up Defense Position. During your Main Phase 2, you can discard 1 monster card to Special Summon 1 "Spellbound" monster from your hand.

[spoiler=Spell Cards]

140019.jpg

Select 1 Level 4 or lower "Spellbound" monster you control. If your opponent controls a monster whose ATK is higher than the selected monster's ATK, the selected monster can attack your opponent directly.

---

140019.jpg

All monster cards on the field are unaffected by Spell and Trap Cards that would destroy the card. When a "Spellbound" monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon that monster in face-up Defense Position.

[spoiler=Decks]

Just yesterday I started a "Spellbound Dark Revolution Set". That's quite the coincidence. But mine is really an amature one and yours here is really amazing (even with only 6 cards) ^_^

Thoughtcaster: This one can really disrupt the balance in the opponent's strategy. Making a monster Level 1 can be really useful sometimes, but there are case when it's really awful. OCG: that card's Level

Striker: This could be really useful. If you can find a way to keep it on the field for several turns and to Summon 2 more of these guys, that would be devastating for the enemy. But sure needs quite the support. ;) OCG is good

Imperious: I think you shouldn't limit the discarding effect to only being activated when Summoned without Tribute. When Normal Summoned is fine imo. Other than that, it's quite the beast. OCG: your opponent monster sends cards

Monk: OK, with this you can Special Summon a LV x monster. That's kinda too much. Limit the Level to let's say 4-5 (maybe 6 but I'm not sure). This guy definitely can swarm the field good :D OCG: discard 1 monster card to or discard 1 Monster Card to (the first one is used mostly)

Shockwave: Simple but might prove crucial in the right moment and generally to cause some extra damage. I like it

Village: If this card is going to be your main Field Spell I would expect it to do something more. Because once sent to the Graveyard, it's not easily returnable. Maybe add something like you can discard 2 "Spellbound" monsters from your hand to activate this card from your Graveyard or something. I don't know. It's up to you to decide this. Just suggesting here :lol:

This should be about it I think.

I really like this set and I would even consider joining the "Team" :P

Of course, I don't want to be pushy so if you need assistance you can just ask me and I'll gladly help ^_^

I wish you good luck for now and I'll keep an eye for updates here :D

Agreed :3, this card definitly disrupt tons of Synchro decks

Definitly valuable against speed decks and swarmers

Alright. I think i forgot it was Level 5 which was why I gave it that effect for only being Normal Summoned without tributes. As for the OCG lol I think i was typing to fast and multi-tasking.

I see your point. I think this might be a more powerful Summoner Monk.

Shockwave: Simple but might prove crucial in the right moment and generally to cause some extra damage. I like it

Thanks :3

Yea i agree, this doesnt have enough Spellbound support to be our Main Field Spell. We'll think of another effect to add
