Forest Dweller (my first one here) :)

Hello everyone :)..I'm new here, so I may be nOOb or whatever. I've worked on this Set for few days, well, I haven't finished it yet, but I have some cards. I tried to make them as more realistic as possible, and balance their effects etc.

 

So...this Set is all about "Forest Dweller" monsters, who's effect is based on placing and using Forest Counters to unleash their real power. Something similar to this one is mix of Alien and Fog counters, but these Forest Counters are little bit different...

These guys seemed like they would be awesome but they nerfed themselves too much. The effects of the level 6 or lower monsters aren't so great that they need to be held back with a negative effect. They also generate counters much too slowly.

 

6/10 because I wouldn't use these cards personally, but with some tweaking they could be great.

Those are freaken nice picture :) and most of them have a cool name.

This is a very good set (especially since you're new).

You're definitely not a noob (unlike some people).

 

Most of the cards are balance and most have interesting effects.

I spot some OCG errors but they're not that bad.

 

Keep up the good work! I know you're gonna be awesome at cardmaking.

Well, thx for the comments. Like I said, I haven't finished the Set yet. I'll make some support Spell and Trap Cards for those effects, don't worry. Forest Counters will be produced faster. I might add a Field Spell, but I can't find a very good picture for it :D, some kind of Dark Forest or something, something that fits in the story :D. But, this is just the beginning, I'll make more :)

Forest Dweller - White Wolf's image is actually from Wanderley, so is King's Pride. Magical Healing is from Father Wolf. But the cards themselves, the "1st Edition" you put is kind of blotchy. There are no OCG errors that I can see, except on FD - Super Synchron. You do not need to place "Effect" after a Tuner subtype. Overall, I give a 9.4/10

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought all of these were from HP Doom, I'm really sorry. And, I'll fix those cards, I'm making new cards, but I'll handle those too. And that "1st Edition" thing, the real YCM can't make it to look like on a real card, so I did that myself, it couldn't be better, sorry :D. But, I'll try to fix that one too ;)

These cards took my breath away. When I saw and read the cards, I thought to myself "I'm seeing this guy as one of the best newbie card makers out there." It great how you did the 1st Edition yourself, but did you do the Gold border template yourself or did you pick it up from a shop or do-it-yourself Template shop? The pictures are very great seeing how they came from Wanderly, HP Doom, etc. No OCG errors that I see. Flawless all around.

 

 

I rarely give these, but this set deserves a big fat:

Thx man :), I'm glad you like them. I have new cards, I will post them in few minutes. I added some support, including a field Spell Card, and 2 new monsters. Now, these Forest Counters are easier to distribute. ;)
