Dharc
Lore: [spoiler=Spoiler]This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Normal Summoned by tributing two Level 6 or higher Dragon-type monsters on your side of the field. This card is unaffected by cards with "Trap Hole" in its card name. Once per turn, while this card is in face-up Attack Position, you can destroy one face-up card on your opponent's side of the field and inflict 900 points of damage to your opponent. If you activate this effect, this monster cannot attack or change it's Battle Position this turn. Image Credit goes to HP Doom.Tell me what you think. Dandelo
I kind of like the whole uneffected by "Trap Hole" cards. It makes sense... him being so fat, that he wouldn't fall through a hole. If that was what you were going for, kudos for being clever. Uh, put "Tributing" instead of "sacrificing". Seems fine to me, 8.5/10.
The White Wolf
That's no dragon! THAT'S a cow! Not bad. I fixed your OCG OCG Fixes: "Sacrificing" = "Tributing" "In its name" = "In its Card Name" "ATK position" = "Attack Position" "May" normally = "Can" "If you activate this effect, this card may not attack or change its Battle Position" = "This card cannot attack or change its Battle Position until the End Phase if you activate this effect." There. Capitalizations are all that's left.
Dharc
@waters: Yeh, I always forget about that...I made this card back before a lot of people told me that, so I didn't realize it still had that. Well, it doesn't matter anyway. Thanks for the review, and yes, the Trap Hole thing was what I was going for, as sort of an "Inside Joke" *chuckle*@Dragon: Alright, thanks. I'll update it soon. Anyway, what do you think of the card itself?
The White Wolf
7/10 with all the fixes I made lol
Dharc
Oh? What could I do to improve it? Also, I changed it to only being able to be Normal Summoned instead of Special Summoned, because that's generally when "Trap Holes" activate. Saturn of Elemia
It's like a Dragon-ish version of Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Interesting how you made it immune to anything with 'Trap Hole' in its name. Bit specific, but keeps it on the field. (Personally, an effect that prevents Trap Cards from being activated when it's being Summoned like Invasion of Flames might be better. That's just my thoughts on it, though). I like how it can destroy any FACE-UP card on the field - that means you can get rid of their pesky stall cards like Gravity Bind or their lockdown cards like Royal Decree or Imperial Iron Wall. I have a question: Does your card text mean that it cannot change its Battle Position at all (even with a card effect) if you use its destruction effect? (Gotta ask) Overall, the effect doesn't feel enough for the effort needed to bring it out. You're giving up 2 LV6 or higher Dragons. I'd think that (and this is just my take) that you could inflict damage to your opponent when you destroy the card (like 500, 800, or 1000). Stats are balanced, I believe. It's a nice defensive card. Kinda sucks that REDMD (Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon) cannot bring it back, but we'll survive. As for the OCG errors, it's mostly capitalization errors - which Shooting Star Dragon already pointed out. The image - Wow, that is one FAT dragon! All in all, it's a decent card. I'd say roughly an 8.9 out of 10 - for the few minor OCG errors and the effect thing. Keep up the good work.(Thought I should return the favor since you so graciously looked at my card)
Dharc
Ah, thanks, Saturn (Or do you prefer Paladin?). I think I should give it a Damage effect. And no, it can't change Battle Position, even with stuff like Zero Gravity (A reference to its uber-fatness.) And what do I need to alter for the Capitalization thingie? Saturn of Elemia
Call me Saturn. As for the capitalization issue, it looks like you've pretty much taken care of it already. Thanks for the clarification on the Battle Position issue. Now, you gotta think carefully if you wanna use its effect and leave yourself open or not. =p
Dharc
Added to the effect that it deals 900 damage.
Saturn of Elemia
There we go. Destruction + burn. Makes a person wanna try and run it now. With all the Dragon support nowadays, it shouldn't be THAT hard to bring it out (Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon in particular). Your rating now goes to (fanfare) 9.8! YAY! (throws confetti)
Dharc
Thanks. That's the second highest rating I've ever got. And again, from a Senior Member. Thanks so much, I hope most of my cards can be as good as this and my Phoenix Dragon.
Cronos14
Love the Phatness, I think it is a bit OPed, make the burn damage smaller so that you can't get a boring duel were you slowly chip ayay at your opponents LP until you win. Dharc
Wow. You honestly have no idea what a Burn Deck is, do you?
Saturn of Elemia
Thing's not that hard to get rid of. I doubt this baby would stay on the field longer than one turn with all the removal out there. The fact that it has to be in Attack Mode to pull off its effect and that it's got a low ATK for a LV10 monster (2500) means that it is a sitting duck for monsters (like Goyo Guardian and Stardust Dragon). Dharc
Yeh. That too. He is hard to keep on the field unless you've got a Mirror Force or Rush Recklessly.
