Welcome to "Monster Hunter: A New Dawn" RP, where many Enormous Creatures roam around the Globe, Hunters have fought many battles against these vicious, Dangerous and Enormous creatures and few have survived to tell the tales.

You play as a Hunter. Hunting for Meat, Items, Gold and the Adventure of becoming the Legendary Hunter.

Basically its about the past (like B.C), where your a Hunter and must hunt these Vile Beasts that kills anything in they're path.

 

(Story/Plot)

 

A man named Glenroy, Chief of the Snowy Village, had requested help from Hunters around the Globe. a giant dragon known as Lao-Shan Lung has been spotted near the Top of the Mountains, where the Snowy Village is near. many Heroic Hunters declined the request and only but a few have accepted. The Village has built a fortress to repel the beast, but it cannot hold against this vicious and most dangerous Creature ever to roam around the Globe.

Now I will List the Basic Items that you may need during your Hunts.

 

HP Potion (Restores a moderate amount of Health)

Flute (used to attract certain Monsters, may break when used)

Whetstone (Sharpens Weapons and Armor)

Pitfall Trap (Trap for catching Monsters, Is Tripped by a heavy weight. Monsters will eventually escape)

Small Barrel Bomb (A small timed Bomb, effective when facing small Reptiles and Beasts)

Large Barrel Bomb (A much larger Bomb, must either hit it with an Arrow or a great Impact to explode. effective against Giant Creatures and Beasts)

Luther Finblade was an ordinary hunter who dreamed of slaying Lao-shan Lung, the giants of all giants. he was living in the Desert Village, and was trying to hunt a pack of Genprey when he saw a letter of importance on a wall that was posted not to long ago.

I, Glenroy, Chief of the snowy village, request your skills and experience as Hunters to help us rid of a vicious beast that has been seen near our Village. It is Lao-Shan Lung, the most feared and dangerous Creature ever known to man. we're offering a 5,000 Gold to whoever slays this vicious beast. we've sent letters that is just like this to every village around the world and hope that many Hunters come to our need of help. we fear for our safety, so please, come to our village at the Snowy Mountains immediately and slay the Beast!

Luther was thrilled, to hunt down and slay Lao-Shan Lung was his dream ever since he was a novice Hunter. he quickly ran off to his room and packed his belongings, and left to Snowy Mountains. as he continued to walk towards Snowy Mountain, he ran into a Hunter in a random Jungle and asked his name.

The hunter spoke with bitterness towards Luther "I don't have time for you, I'm heading towards Snowy Mountains, where the Chief of the snowy village requested help from hunters like myself".

"Well, maybe I'll see you there..." Luther hissed. the hunter laughed and patted Luther on his left shoulder, "You? trying to slay Lao-Shan Lung? don't make me laugh harder kid, you wouldn't last for a second when facing a Lao-Shan Lung with that pathetic Armor."

Luther, gritting his teeth in annoyance, could only stand idly by watching as the hunter made Luther petty compared to the looks of the hunters Armor and Sword. "and that sword of yours? I wouldn't bleed even if I tried to cut myself with it" the hunter retorted.

 

(OCC: alright, i have to go for awhile. I'll edit this post or just make a new post once i get back on the Computer)

Ares had been walking through the jungle for a couple days to reach the mountain village. He had been going off the trail here and there to get meat or supplies he needed for the trip, about half way there he decided to just take the normal main path. He saw two other hunter talking on the path ahead of him. The wind carried apart of the conversation to him before he reached the other hunters. " You wouldnt last a second when facing Lao-Shan Lung with that pathetic armor" said the hunter that had the better equipment. This slighty angered Ares because he thought that a hunters will and heart meant more then the armor he wore. He walked up and stopped next to Luther.

 

" You shouldnt talk down on him like that. Something bad might happen" Ares said as he put him hand on the handle of his flame falchion. He was pretty angry now and wouldnt think twise about striking down the arogant hunter where he stood.
