Monster Hunter: A New Dawn ~RP~

Ares was even more annoyed by the new female hunters ignorant remark. He turned around to look at her, " you should hold your tounge about things that you have no knowledge of, im trying to help this young hunter. So dont group me in with this filth." He said as he pointed to the hunter who had been insulting. It wasnt like he was trying to be a prick, he was just having a trying day and all the arrogant people he had come across on his treck to the mountain village hadnt helped. When Another person showed up, he was glad that he didnt slig some sort of filth at any of the hunter currently present. At this time his hand wasnt on his falchion any more.

She heard a voice from behind her as their was now four hunters besides herself.

 

"Nice to meet you Dusk, my name is Sakura Ryujin." She replied nicely. "Now see you all, I got a dragon to carve." Sakura said as she began to run towards the mountain village with an ambitious expression. "Also any armor is good so long as you don't get flatten by this dragon's feet or smacked by its tail!!" Sakura exlamied while running further and further away to the mountain.

Being out in the wilderness at night was never a good thing, no matter how experienced a hunter was. He was slighlty hoping to run into a lesser wyvern lke a Kutku or possibly a Gypceros. He needed the practice. As he walked casually down the path towards the mountain village, he wondered how he would be able to take out that lao alone.

Before Luther could speak, the Female hunter left in a hurry towards the Snowy (Or Mountain as TJ21 says) Village. than the other Male hunter soon followed at the same direction as the Female Hunter ran in a tremendous hurry. "I'm Luther Finblade" he whispered softly to himself. as Luther looked over at the horizon where the two Hunters ran off too, the Hunter that has been insulting Luther spoke. "...foolish hunters, your end will come when your facing the Lao-Shan Lung". the Hunter retorted.

 

The Hunter left in the same direction where the others ran off to. Luther sighed as the hunter left, but suddenly he realized that he wasn't alone. looking over his shoulder, he saw this other Hunter that just popped out from no where a few minutes ago. "Hi, names Luther Finblade" Said Luther, smiling towards Dusk Mortelli. "I'm heading towards snowy village, are you g-going there too?" said Luther in a curious, but slightly nervous tone.

"I couldn't agree more" said Luther as he nodded. suddenly, the look on Luther's face gave Dusk an uncomfortable feeling. his face was all paled, as if he seen a ghost, or worse. "Get down!" Luther whispered towards Dusk. Luther hid behind a small bush, Dusk followed. "Yian Kut-ku..." Luther whispered to himself softly, but Dusk could hear him.

Sakura didn't hear the foot steps of the other hunters but something larger. She stopped and turned to see a Yian Kut-ku.

 

"This should be fun" Sakura said with a grin as she pulled out her flute and started playing. The Yian Kut-ku heard and was lured by the sound of her flute. She continued to play as she hopped and dance backwards towards the path to the village why luring the Yian Kut-ku away from the other hunters.

 

The Yian Kut-ku began to use fire towards Sakura. Putting away her flute, she dodged the fire and took out her Bone Blade as she charged at it and stabbed one of the creature's wings.

Suddenly, the Yian Kut-Ku flew off, heading towards the sound of the flute that was played moments ago. Luther, following the Yian Kut-Ku, saw it landed near by the path towards the snowy village. "Whats that girl thinking" Luther thought as he saw the Female hunter. as Sakura slashed the wing of Yian Kut-Ku, Luther joined the battle and swung his Buster Sword along the side of Yian Kut-Ku's Leg.

Since Ares had already been searching for a Kut-ku, he heard is squabbling and noises one would normaly make. As he started to make his way towards the noise he heard a flute. Shorty after that a Kut-ku flew overhead and landed several yards infront of him. He started running through the underbrush towards the wyvern. He saw the female hunter, fighting it alone. Deciding to help, he jumped off a nearby rock with his falchion in hand. It was occupied with the girl so id didnt notice his presence until his falchion impacted with its shell, sending out a wave of fire from inside the blade. He quickly jumpe back with shield at ready.

Sakura had a devilish grin, she ignored the other hunters as she pushed her blade further down the wing of the creature. Then she twisted the sword in the already hurt wing and pulled it out quickly as the creature yelled loudly. She then stabbed this already harmed creature in the neck with a great thrust, total bloodlust resided in her eyes, signs of pity or mercy could not be seen.

Ares quickly struck that the wyvren's upper leg, his sword cleaving through flesh and bone. No longer able to support the creatures wieght, the leg bucked and the Kut-ku fell to the ground. It writhed in pain and sqirmed as it tried to rise back to its feet. He then quickly slashed at its exposed back, cutting through the thick shell but not cutting very deep into the actual hide.

Luther backed away, while the other hunters dealt much damage to it. Sakura, the Female hunter slashed and slashed unto its neck. meanwhile, the male hunter, Ares, struck on its upper leg. it fell as a tremendous thud that was heard miles away, Ares then slashed its back quickly to finish it off.

Luther, seeing this opportunity to slay the beast, quickly ran towards to its neck and leaped to struck the Wyvern's neck. but something rammed him on his side, knocking him off from mid air. it was the Hunter, the same hunter that have been insulting Luther from the beginning. the hunter swung down his Devil Slicer blade and cleanly decapitates the wyvern's head. The clawed feet twitched a few more times and finally became still.

hey I've never been part of a role-playing forum thing before but it seems interesting and I'd like to give it a try if you dont mind XD

 

I happen to be a huge monster hunter fan, owning all of the english titles (that I know are out anyways) and have "beaten" them all although you cant truley ever beat the game (probably one of the reasons I like it so much lol), anywways me and a few friends of mine who also play the game frequently like I do are making a monster hunter story that may even be turned into a comic like "monster hunter orage" although for right now its closer to a fanfiction but its coming along since all of the characters have been developed already with very unique backstorys unlike any you would be able to cook up in the actual games so I was hoping I might be able to use my character from there in this RP, he might be a little strong but I think it shouldn't be to bad.

 

heres the stats or w/e he would have in the format you wanted:

 

Name: Nogarde Delrone

Gender: Male

weapon: Eternal sischim (simply due to there design they dont have to be extremely overpowered like they appear to be in the game) + ??longsword?? (a custom designed abnormally long longsword that in my story has never been seen used by Nogarde and appears to be a decoration in the eyes of others due to that fact. it completely baffals all blacksmiths who see it as an unfamiliar design, although of course later in the story after the entire 4 man party of main characters has been together for a while Nogarde uses it to save everyone from a tight spot, at which point more of his past is revealed.)

Armor: unique armor that glimmers Silver and appears to be made from rare ores and kushala materials, though the guild has no record of me ever taking or completing a quest to hunt one, has to large wings coming out of the shoulders (similar to Dragon X set in MHFU) though never wears a helmet.

Items: HP potion x2, whetstones x3

Bio: a mysterious hunter who came from a small vilage high in the mountains. has dark silver hair and multi colored eyes, one ice blue while the other blood red, carries himself with pride though is often quiet and only speaks when there is somthing worth saying. seems quite wealthy due to enheritance and many hunts for the guild, he owns a house with a large sucpicous warehouse attached to it at the edge of the edge of the town he moved too called Heeroh. Other then his parents passing away at a young age not much is known about his past, his village, or his goals. a hunter surrounded by secrets.

 

 

so yea its a bit long but there you go. P.S. Im looking for people interested in helping out with the story and we need to replace one of the 4 main characters. If interested reply or P.M. me.
