Gaius the Wicked Monarch Deck Confirmed!!!

Recommended Posts

When I first so Caius/Gaius' date=' I thought, "But Cyber-Dragon is LIGHT!"

[/quote']

What does that have to do with anything?

Reminds me of one this one time. I was just standing there, waiting for the bus, and I thought "Wait! Fire doesn't always have to be red and yellow!" And I ran right into the street.

Get it?

Epic. That is the funniest thing I have ever read.

Might I point out a few errors. I didn't read every post, but from what I read I should get this off of my chest :

1.This deck was renamed from SD14- Advent of the Emperors to something of the Dark monarch. Following the changes to SDRL, this likely means UDE tampered with the set and given the name change, the most likely casualties are actually the other monarchs. So there is no reason to assume monarchs will even be in this other than Caius, let alone guaranteed.

2.Why is everyone talking about Monarchs ? This deck has other great cards like DD revival, which, following massive abuse overseas will likely lead to its restriction.

3.What sort of a comment is this about noobs getting monarchs ? All players should have access to all cards. That is the ONLY way we can make this a game of skill rather than luck or opportunity. Giving other players access to the cards expands the top player pool. And yes, all the other get the cards too, but if you are fighting with equal weapons, then the best man wins. Only a noob WOULDN'T want that ... right ?

4.Doesn't everyone already have monarchs ? Since the TP8 reprint they are easier to get than Shapesnatch.

5.Apart from Raiza, who cares what monarchs are more widespread. They are good, but not gamebreaking. Only Raiza and Caius fit that bill.

6.To the guys from Holland, you guys must not get out much. I went to the Belgian and Dutch PT finals in december and it was the biggest turnout ever, despite it being held in an almost unreachable backwater shithole.

I meant the card would be more useful if cyber dragon was a DARK type, so you could tribute him for his effect.

Ah, yes indeed it would be helpful, but not much more helpful, there are plenty of other widely used Dark monsters, and a lot of the time you'll probably be destroying S/T cards anyways.

are you saying that you would kill your own cyber dragon with Caius, just to give your opponent 1000 damage?
