♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
[spoiler=Plot Summary]Several years ago, scientist sought to create an eternal life force that could keep someone alive for ever. Although most of the scientist thought they were doing the right thing, one was sure that the experiment would end in disaster. She was right and out of the experiment came seven life forms, these artificial beings killed all but the scientist but a sole scientist that ran soon the project was called SIN. The Seven Deadly Sins, as the beings were soon called, disappeared and used their powers to transform themselves into Duel Monster Cards. They separated and chose human duelists with great skills and evil hearts to wield them. The beings convinced the seven duelists to find the others and try and take over the world. The creation of the cards caused one other card to form made of complete evil energy, King of Evil – Lucifer. This duelist has gathered the other seven and plans to start his reign by taking over the place where all of the prime duelist come and train, Duelist Academy. The eight soon began to call themselves the Black Syndicate, and worked in secret to the other dorms. The beings began to their plan when the Great Tree, Yggdrasil, sought three duelists to protect the world from the horrors of the plan of eight. Ishin Akumuraz, a young boy is one of the chosen three and our protagonist. Ishin and his friends are ready and must defeat the Black Syndicate in order to save the world. [spoiler=Chapter 1, Thorn]"Man, life sucks," a young Ishin said to himself looking over his mother grave, "You live you die, and for what?" "Absolutely nothing." He ran his hands through hid ruffled navy blue hair. ---------- "Ishin Akumuraz!!!" Ishin woke with a start at hearing his name called, "Sleeping in class again, how pathetic." Staring down Ishin was a sleep deprived, african american, woman about in her forties, "Ishin, it is rather unfortunate you did not gained neither your brother's attention span or his learning ability." "Yeah, but he's ten times the duelist Avon is," said the girl sitting next to Ishin. "That may be, but Ishin here, needs to pass this course before he can even dream of sniffing the good life at the academy," said the teacher to the upstart girl. "Well Miss Hakuma," retorted the girl, "Ishi here, doesn't need this class for crap." "He could drop out, and go directly to the entrance exams." "Allie, you seem to have forgotten," Miss Hakuma replied with a sharp edge in her reply to the cute, hot pink haired girl. Her black outfit made her look more exotic her red eyes obviously filled with anger, "That if Ishin here, wishes to become a Blue Jacket his first year he would have to take this class." Then it dawned on Ishin, She's right, I could walk out of here and take the entrance exam just like that. "Screw this I'm outta here," Ishin got up, grabbed his bag with his deck and his duel disk, and walked right for the door. "Mr. Akumuraz, if you walk out of that door I will personally see to it that you never step foot in a dorm higher than Slifer!" screamed Miss Hakuma in a vicious voice. Ishin smiled and gave his former teacher the middle finger as he walked to the door. "See yah," Ishin said laughing at the woman's ignorance. Ishin to a whiff of the fresh air in New Domino City. "Crap!" Ishin exclaimed as he saw poster in front of him. The poster read simple that registration for the entrance exams, would be over at 4 P.M today. Ishin pulled out his cellphone and read the time, 3:43 P.M. "SHITTT!" Ishin exclaimed again looked at the poster and saw that the registration center was on the other side of town. Ishin started into a full sprint. Luckily for him, he was an above average athlete, so the running wasn't to diffucult on his body. Ishin saw a large crowd up ahead. "Dammit, this is the only way to the Registration Center," the building were formed in a strange alignment so going around would be impossible. Ishin decided the only way to get to the R.C. was through the crowd. Ishin leaned in with his shoulder going running over a plufer of people and running straight into a Sector Security. Crap, Ishin thought. The officer and Ishin fell to the ground. "Just my luck," Ishin said. "Hey, kid back in the crowd, the Prince will choose his opponent when you get back," the officer. "Who?" Ishin stared blankly at the Sector Security Officer. "He shall be my opponent," said a boy, a couple years younger than Ishin; standing in the middle of the crowd. He pointed at Ishin with his bony finger. His brown hair. His attire was a red dress shiry covered by a vest and black dress pants to match. "You sure you want to duel that peice of trash your highness," said a man about ten years older than the boy. Ishin dusted himself off, "I don't have time to mop the floor with you I have somewhere to be." Ishin began to walk away when he was grabbed by the guard he ran into. "Kid, you could be charged with assaulting an officer, now just duel the Prince and you can be on your way." "Pshh, fine," Ishin said reaching into his bag pulling out his customized duel disk, and his deck. The teenager put on a golden dueling disk. "Remember boy if you win this duel you earn yourself a top of the line one of a kind, Duel Runner, named the Phoenix," said the Prince, "And by the way my victims call me Ivan the Terrible, what is your name?" "Ishin Akumuraz," Ishin replied trying to hold back his laughter, "Lets get things started, shall we?" "We shall," Ivan replied. "DUEL," they screamed in unision. Life Point TrackerIshin --- 4000Ivan --- 4000 "I'll go first," Ishin said. Ishin's Turn "Draw," Ishin said loud enough for his opponent to hear him. "I summon The Exalted Leopard, and thanks to its Special Ability it can be switched positions. [The Exalted Leopard ATK/0 DEF/2000] "I finish with one face down, and end," Ishin finished. Ivan's Turn "DRAWWW!" Ivan yelled in a high-pitched voice, "It's unfortunate you didn't last long." "I use the special ability to special summon Cyber Dragon than I Porto Cyber Dragon and here goes the power of my Spell Power Bond," Ivan said cackling, "Fusion Summon, Cyber Twin Dragon." "Now I equip the Fairy Meteor Crush, and Go my Cyber Twin Dragon attack," Ivan commanded. [Cyber Twin Dragon ATK / (2800 * 2=) 5600 DEF / 2100] "To bad that I activate the power of Mirror Force," Ishin interrupted. An invisible screen blocked Cyber Twin Dragon's Blast and reflected it back at itself destroying the monster. "Fine I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Cyber Twin Dragon, your move," Ivan mumbled under his breath. "And don't forget about Powerbond's drawback," Ishin reminded his opponent, "You lose Life Points equal to your Fusion Monster's original attack." Ivan's Life Points --- 4000- 2800 = 1200 Ishin's Turn "I summon the Exalted Djinn, followed by a Special Ability of my own to Summon out The Exalted Neophytes," Ishin said smiling, "Time I Synchro Summon." Ishin began to chant while his left glew with the rune, "Thorn". When the door of Asgard opens, the ancient War God will raise up his Magical Hammer, The very Earth itself will shake as he appears from a roar of Thunder! Synchro Summon! Descend, Polar God King Thor! "Next I activate the Spell card Just to Exalted," Ishin said, "While I control a Divine-Beast type monster I can pay half my Life Points to double that monsters attack." [Polar God King Thor ATK (3500 * 2=) 7000 DEF / 2800] "Go Polar God King Thor, attack with Odin's Hammer Bash." The mighty brute that stood before Ishin grabbed his hammer and took a powerful swing at Ivan's monster and the crackling thunder bouncing of the hammer. Thor completely crushed Cyber Twin Dragon finishing the duel. Life Point TrackerIvan --- 1200-1400 = -200Ishin --- 4000/2 = 2000 "Good try but I really have to go," Ishin said to the so called Prince. Ishin looked at his phone and the clock read 4:01, "Crap." A man dressed in a suit began to approach Ishin, "Hey, dude I didn't mean to run into that cop." "No, no," the suited man said his glasses shining in the light his bright blonde hair nearly blinded Ishin, "Let me introduce myself." "I am Kuro Tategami and I am the Vice Princapal at the Duelist Academy," Kuro said, "I think you should really concider joining us we would love to have you aboard at the academy." "Yeah I kinda missed registration," replied Ishin. "You obviously have no clue who you just dueled, do you?" asked Mr. Tategami. "Umm," Ishin thought, "Not really." "Why is he important?" Ishin was confused to no end. "That was the son of the current King of Games," Mr. Tategami said while howling with laughter, "I would say you passed the entry exam, consider my invite." "Of course I want to go," said an excited Ishin, "When does the boat leave?" "Three days after entrance exams tomorrow," Mr. Tategami added, "The boat will leave at 12:00 Tuesday morning, be there kid or we'll leave without you." "Okay I will," said Ishin as began to turn in the direction of his house when he was aproached by the Prince, "What do you want?" "Your reward, where would you like it sent?" Ivan asked. Mr. Tategami intervened, "You could have it sent to the Academy if you like." "That's fine," Ishin said and he ran to his house to tell his father his great luck.[spoiler=Notes]Introduced characters[spoiler=Ishin Akumuraz & Ken Azima (Not introduced)] Allie on the left & Ken on the right [spoiler= Ivan "The Prince" Hanzo] [spoiler=Mr. Tategami]No Pic, yet [spoiler=Chapter 2, Quick to Judge]“Mom,” Ishin looked at his mother’s Grave for only the third time since her funeral; the pain of her death was still eating away his insides. “I hope you watch over me while I’m with Avon,” he said looking at the card she gave him before the day she passed away, Polar God King Thor, “I’ll be the greatest if it means making you proud." HONK! “Ishin, come on you’re going to miss the boat!” Ishin’s father, Kai, yelled at him. “COMIN`!” he yelled back, “Bye, mom.” Ishin left the graveyard and walked into his dad’s car.-----The ride to the docks was terrible for Ishin; his father would not stop pestering him about how he shouldn’t bother his brother unless it was absolutely necessary and how he should behave himself at all times. “Okay, got it dad,” he replied to his dad’s constant lecturing. They finally made it to the docks and Ishin saw the rest of the parents saying farewell to their soon to be D.A. students. “I love you son,” Kai told his son, “But remember don’t do anything stupid while you’re there.” “Love you too dad,” he replied, while dragging out the suitcase from the backseat, “And I’ll try and behave.” “ISHI!” someone screamed off to Ishin’s right. “Look who it is Ishi,” Kai said teasing his son. Allie walked up to him and after a short greeting between the three they were heading towards the boat. Allie asked how he got in and Ishin explained the whole story involving the prince. “Wow, Ishin,” Allie started, “I knew you were good, but moping the floor with the Prince of Games, that’s something.” “Well you know me,” he replied with a great smile, “Always surprising.” As the duo walked onto the boat, they we’re stopped by a boy no older than the prince who had piercing red eyes cutting through his round glasses. His blue hair matched his all blue outfit. “You don’t really look like much,” the boy said looking at Ishin, “I could probably defeat you without much effort.” “Ha,” Allie laughed, “Ishi could run circles around you little boy.” “I doubt as I scored the highest marks on the entrance exams and the best grade on the field test as well,” the blue boy said. “Well what’s your name kid,” Ishin asked the short stack. “Fifteen is hardly a young age,” the blue boy said, “And the name is Allen Reiki.” “Okay Allen lets duel after put my stuff away in my cabin,” he replied to the ready Allen. “I would prefer you not to stall,” Allen said dully to Ishin. As Allie walked with Ishin to his cabin, she was fiddling with the new PDA the school gave all its students. “Allan Reiki,” she said, “Looks like he’s a first year Obelisk Blue and he didn’t even go to a Duel Prep School.” “Impressive,” she added. “Still not scared,” he replied, “Can you look me up on that thing?” “Yeah, of course, Ishi,” she answered smiling. She fiddled with device a bit more, and spoke, “It says you’re a first year Slifer Red, like me.” “Wow,” he said surprised, “You would think beating the Prince of Games is actually worth something.” They reached Ishin’s cabin and someone was inside waiting. His blond hair looked a lot like Mr. Tategami, the guy he met the other day, with the exact same red eyes to match. “Hey, Shiroi Tategami,” said the blonde headed boy reaching for a handshake Ishin shook it, “I’m a Slifer Red since we’re sharing a dorm you must be one as well.” Ishin thought to himself, What a fake smile. “Hi, I’m Ishin,” he replied coolly. “Ahh,” Shiroi said, “You’re the dude my dad has been talking about non-stop lately.” “Yeah we’re kind of in a hurry,” Ishin said annoyed now by his presence “We could talk more when I get back okay.” “Actually I’m headed to the deck,” Shiroi said much to Ishin’s dismay, “I heard that a pretty sick duel is about to go down between a Slifer and an Obelisk.” “Hope the Slifer wins,” he added, “It would be an awesome confident boost to the Red Dorm.” “Word travels fast,” Allie added to the conversation, “Doesn’t Ishi.” “Ha, don’t tell me that you’re the guy dueling?” Shiroi asked, “A win against a complete amateur and you think you can take on one of the top dorm?” “Amateur?” Allie interrupted again. “Yeah, the only reason the Prince is well known is because who his daddy is,” Shiroi said, “Actually amateur would be a total understatement.” “We’ll dude hopefully you won’t get smacked around by this guy you’re dueling,” he added laughing. “Ishi could beat that pipsqueak with his eyes closed,” she retorted. “We shall see,” Shiroi said walking past the two friends. Ishin and Allie made their way back to the deck to find Allen waiting for them, “About time bottom feeder.” Allen was pointing out the red Slifer jackets the two had on. “You sure you want to do this?” he asked once more. Allen was answered by the strapping of the red and silver Slifer duel disk that was strapped onto Ishin, and turned on. “DUEL!” the two screamed in unison. “I’ll start things off,” Allen said snickering looking at his hand. Allen’s Turn“Draw,” he proclaimed, “During my Standby Phase I can discard this card right here called Kuriboh of the Dark Arts; to leave me impervious to Damage this turn.” “Followed by me summoning Goblin Attack Force,” he continued, “Next, activate the spell Immediate Trap which allows me to immediately activate a Trap Card from my for the price of 1000 Life Points but thanks to my Kuriboh the damage I won’t have to pay a thing.” “I choose Ring of Destruction and again my Kuriboh leaves me protected,” he said chuckling, “I’ll place this card face down to finish.Life Point TrackerIshin --- 4000-2300 = 1700Allen --- 4000“It looks your friend is a bit of a bind,” said a black haired with blue eyes and a Ra Yellow Jacket covering his black undershirt and black jeans that matched. The boy looked about a year older than Ishin. Allie was taken by complete surprise by the stranger. “Oh sorry,” he said, “I’m Kensushi Kaze, but please call me Ken.” “Well Ken, Ishin has dueled way better than this pipsqueak,” she replied harshly, “And I’m Allie by the way.” “Well, Allie let’s see what your friend can do,” Ken said smiling. “Nice move but it’s my turn now,” Ishin said smiling, “And I draw.” “I summon The Exalted Djinn and thanks to his special power he gains two-hundred attack points,” he added [The Exalted Djinn ATK 1950 DEF 1200], “The Exalted Djinn attack Allen directly with Falling Star Blast.” The giant magician outstretched his palm and bright blue flame poured down onto Allen and taking a chunk out of his Life Points. “I place two cards face down and end my turn,” he finished. Life Point TrackerIshin ---- 1700Allen---- 4000 - 1950 = 2050 Allen cackled a sickening laugh, “It’s all over trash.” “I activate my face down,” he said.TO BE CONTINUED…… [spoiler=Chapter 3 Greedy Revival] “I activate my face-down card this card can only be activated though when my opponent inflicts direct damage during their turn,” Allen said cackling, “GO! I activate Tribute of the Greedy.” The vertical face down card stood up on cue and a shady, hooded figure walked out of the card. It revealed its two skeleton hands and a blue lights began to shine in the figures boney palms. “By removing from play two cards in my Graveyard, I can special summon one level seven or eight monster from my hand, and I choose Project SIN – Greedy Soul,” he added. The figure began to shake as if it was laughing, and stuck the two orbs in his mouth. The creature collapsed and melted into a sickly blue liquid on the deck. Soon after the card shattered and was sent to the grave pile, Allen began to chant something. The once holy spirit of Charity takes everything that stands in its corrupted path! Rise from the Greedy Soul, Project SIN – Greedy Soul. The large puddle of bluish tinted slime began to simmer on the deck of the ship. Ishin began to laugh “Am I supposed to be scared of your little slime puddle?” As soon as the words escaped his mouth; a large blue arm arose out of the puddle and then another the two arms dragged a gargantuan body out the puddle, the monster roared. Laser blue eyes opened all over the creatures body “Well,” Ishin gained a worried look on his face, but before anything could happen, “I’ll activate The Godly Lock and I equip it to your Project SIN – Greedy Soul.” Two dancing twins appeared out of the newly risen card and began to dance around the devilish looking beast and soon transformed into a bracelet and locked itself on to the beast’s wrist. The blue monster howled in pain from the electricity coming off the bracelet. “And if you don’t know what my card does let me explain,” Ishin started. “I know exactly what your card does,” a flustered Allen replied, “I draw since it’s my turn.” Allen’s Turn“I activate the Spell Card Offering to the Seventh Greed,” he said smiling, “By sending the top seven cards in my deck to the graveyard I can increase my monsters attack for each monster discarded x500.” He looked at the seven cards, placing them in his duel disk’s discard pile. “Three monsters were discarded giving my monster a total of 3500 attack points,” he said smirking. “Go, Greedy Soul attack with Selfish Disaster,” he commanded his beast. The creature began to shake as if it were laughing at Ishin’s pitiful monster. All of a sudden the air around the beast began to turn a sickly shade of purple as its hands grew larger. The beast’s hands grew until they twice the size of the magical Genie standing in front of it. The demon took a swipe at the genie and the attack was stopped by the eruption of a blue fire wall. “I activate my face down,” Ishin interrupted, “Emergency Prayer.” “This card negates your attack and lets me Special Summon a Tuner from my hand.” “I pick the Exalted Imp,” he said smiling. Fire erupted on the ship’s deck and out walked a horned creature. The beings red skin was shining and its blood red body armor was a perfect fit. The creature’s long tail whipped back and forth and made a sound like roaring thunder. “Fine I place one card face down,” Allen retorted, “And end.” A large brown vertical card appeared face down in front of Allen. Ishin hadn’t noticed before but Allen’s left hand had a glowing, strange mark on it. “What’s that on your hand?” his curiosity betrayed him again. “It’s a mark of true power,” Allen began to mock Ishin, “Unlike the weaklings you carry around in your deck; mine is prepared to destroy my opponent and take everything from him.” Ishin’s Turn“DRAW!” Ishin exclaimed, “You’ll eat your words.” “I summon The Exalted Sentinel,” he exclaimed, “Now I tune The Exalted Imp to both The Exalted Djinn and The Exalted Sentinel.” “So I can summon the most powerful card in my deck,” he began to chant. When the door of Asgard opens, the ancient War God will raise up his Magical Hammer, The very Earth itself will shake as he appears from a roar of Thunder! Synchro Summon! Descend, Polar God King Thor. The blue rune “Thorn” appeared in Ishin’s left eye. “You see this,” Ishin said pointing at his left eye, “It means I can double anything you throw at me.” A beam of light shone down from the sky and was crackling with electricity. Out of the light walked a giant clad in leather Viking Armor with golden spikes from the shoulder plates up to the side of the neck. The giant’s armor was finely trimmed with a sheep’s hide that made it resemble clouds popping out of its body. The mighty giant saw the hideous blue creature and an angered look appeared on the giants face. A silky velvety voice sparked in Ishin’s head, be careful Ishin, do not let Thor unleash his full powers on this boat. Why? A puzzled Ishin asked the voice. No response came and Ishin gave up on the question. Ishin weighed his options he knew he wouldn’t stand much of a chance if that thing stayed on the field any longer. “I place one card face down,” he said, “Thor attack his Greedy Soul with, THUNDER PILE!” The powerful giant launched itself at the creature. Thor’s giant hammer came down on the creature, but was caught and shattered by the giant monster. The two giant monsters engaged in a grappling match neither gaining an upper hand. Why haven’t the monsters shattered yet, Ishin asked himself. The two monsters went back and forth exchanging blows with one another. “This duel is over,” jumping down from the captain’s quarters on the upper floor, Mr. Tategami swooped down and pressed a button on his teacher’s PDA. Both duel disks shut down and the monster continued fighting a couple seconds after the duel disks shut off. The battle between the two monsters lasted longer than any that Ishin had barred witnessed to in a long time. Since the day his mother died. “Ishin come with me,” Mr. Tategami said, “SHIROI!” “Come with us and bring your friend as well!” he yelled at his son, pointing at the boy standing next to Allie and him. “Yeah sure,” Shiroi said, “Ken is it?” “Come on,” he said waving his hand in a fashion, as directing him like a sheep. Ken did not reply but walked towards Mr. Tategami who was already halfway up the stairs to the captain’s quarters. They followed him into a room; everything in it was made of either leather or fur. “Nice room dad,” Shiroi said giggling as if he had a planned misdeed in his mind. “Thank you son,” he replied, “But, I must talk to you three it is of the utmost importance.” TO BE CONTINUED……. [spoiler=Signs of Weakness]After a long talk with the three students, Mr. Tategami was looking at the sky from his room’s window. “I hope they have what it takes,” he commented. ----------------------------------- “So Ken,” Ishin began to ask, “What kind of deck do you use?” “Well seeing how we’re banned from dueling on the deck let’s have a duel down in the game room,” he replied. “No way Ishin you already got to duel, it’s my turn,” an exuberant Allie came running from the stair case. “I honestly don’t you could compete with Ken, Allie,” said a chuckling Shiroi “But if you want you can duel me.” “Fine you’re on,” she replied excited to duel. As the four friends walked down to the game room Allie had an idea. “How about you and Ken duel after us, Ishi,” she suggested. “Why not,” Ken replied. “I’m game,” Ishin said smiling. The group made it to the game room at last and was surprised at the room’s size. The room was almost big as a professional dueling arena, the ceiling went at least 3 stories and Ishin now knew why there was a suck a large dome on the ship; it was the battlefield for the Voyage tournament where the last duel king was named. A girl walked up to the group. “Ken will you be dueling anyone today?” she asked. “I will after these two Reds, battle it out,” he said with a smile, “Hopefully my duel will be just as entertaining.” Ishin smiled and noticed that there were insignias over certain sections of the bleachers. “It’s to separate the dorms,” said Ken noticing Ishin’s confused expression, “You are invited to sit with me over there if you wish.” “Sure,” Ishin didn’t like this dude’s smug attitude. Well at least he’s nice, said a small voice childish voice in his head, Nice doesn’t cut in the arena replied a more serious child’s voice. Ishin looked around and no one was around that could’ve made the remarks. He thought he was going a tad crazy. Both Allie and Shiroi took their respective spots on the opposite sides of the duel field. Allie’s red eyes had an extreme anger to them maybe it was the fact how Shiroi treated her or maybe the way he spoke to her. Ishin could tell Allie didn’t have much of liking to him. “I’ll start things off,” said Allie not waiting for Shiroi to draw his five cards. Allie’s Turn “Draw,” she proclaimed with a slight eagerness in her eyes. “I summon the Varion Charger; next I activate the Equip Spell Card Varion Material which gives my Varion Charger and extra 600 attack points,” an angelic machine like creature flashed onto the field, five golden rings wrapped around the angel and the eyes on the beast turned gold. Then a card flipped vertically face up revealing an equip laser gun strapped onto the left arm of Varion Charger. Apparently Allie wasn’t finished, “My Varion Charger also has a special power; it gives a 300 attack point boost for each Equip Card on it.” [spoiler=Varion Charger Stats] Varion Charger Fairy/EffectATK / 1000 ~ 1600 ~ 1900 DEF / 1000Face-up LIGHT monsters you control gain 300 ATK for each Equip Card equipped to this card. Two vertical brown cards appeared in front of Allie and quickly disappeared. “My turn,” Shiroi said drawing a card from his deck. Shiroi’s Turn Throwing the card he drew on his duel disk, “I special summon the Gilasaurus in attack mode; which allows you to special summon one card from your grave but sadly you have none.” A brown dinosaur appeared in front of Shiroi baring its yellow tinted teeth ready to tear Allie’s monster apart. “Next I summon Jurrac Garim,” he said another dinosaur appeared ready to rip apart Allie and her machine, “I tune Garim to Gilasaurus.” The Jurrac Garim began to glow and transformed into two floating orbs, Gilasaurus began running towards the orbs and when it made contact it exploded into flames. And out came a new beast to take Gilasaurus’s place. “GO!” Shiroi exclaimed, “Jurrac Velphito.” A purplish brown velociraptor appeared and began erupting in flames all over its body “Next I activate the card Mystical Space Typhoon destroying your face down,” A black hole came out of the card and swallowed Allie’s face down. The card flew into the air revealing it to be the trap card, Magical Cylinder. “Now attack, Velphito with Blazing Stampede,” Shiroi commanded his flaming dino. Velphito began its rampage on the Vairon Charger biting and trashing about ripping pieces of metal of the Charger until the machine finally shattered in to thousands of light shards to indicate that the hologram had been defeated in battle. “I’ll finish by throwing a face-down,” as Shiroi placed the card into its slot a large brown card was suddenly vertically placed in front of him and quickly disappeared. Three shining orbs then took its place and began to surround Vairon Charger and the beast became transparent and four new shining orbs took its spot. The seven orbs shined brighter and brighter until they blinded the duelists. When the light subsided a winged machine stood there at least a story tall its body shaped in the Greek Symbol: Sigma. Ishin thought he saw Shiroi begin to crack a smile, his eyes gleaming with understanding as he knew exactly what his opponent would do next. His eyes looked playful, un-relentless in their scanning the new monster. Ishin has seen that look before, he tried and tried to remember, and then it hit him like a ton of bricks. Ishin began to recall how his brother used to give him that same stare when he and Ishin used duel; as kids Avon was worlds above him but now he hoped he would get a chance to prove he was the better duelist. He quickly realized how outmatched Allie truly was. The look in Shiroi’s eyes wasn’t just understanding, the look, that look, the one Ishin knew all too well, was pity. He then wondered about how Mr. Tategami had said that Shiroi used the Polar God Loki. Ishin knew Loki was the god of tricks and such in Norse Mythology. So he came to the conclusion that Shiroi would play with Allie before finishing her. He couldn’t bear watch his friend get humiliated but interrupting the duel could potentially humiliate Allie even more. So he decided to get up and walk towards the door.“Where are you going Ishi,” Allie called after him.“Bathroom,” he lied. As he was walking out he saw Allen, the boy from this morning, sneaking about. “Wonder what he’s up to?” Ishin questioned himself. Ishin followed him down the corridor and hid behind a crate as he saw Allen approach a teenage boy no older than his friend Ken, who was back in the arena with the others his jet black hair spiking out in the back and in the front shagged just above his eyebrows. An evil smile crept across his face his all white outfit meant he probably wasn’t a student. He had a creepy and mystic aura cast around him. Ishin could hear them talking faintly. “So what did you think about his power?” the creepy one said. “It was alright but as it stands right now,” Allen replied continuing, “He stands as no threat to your plans,” Allen said. “If you say so, but I don’t doubt his noisiness is quite unmatchable,” said the creep pointing at him hiding behind the crates. Ishin ran while his favorite beanie fell off. He left it. He heard footsteps behind him as he ran into the bathroom only to run into Ken. “There you are,” he said gleefully “Where have you been. He then looked at Ishin’s pursuers, two brawny men, security there yellow jackets read. Both Ishin and Ken ran for it “I guess we can have that duel later.”Where did those two guys come from? Ishin asked himself. They ran into the arena and hid behind a trash can. The men ran by no noticing them. “Well I think now is the best time to get started,” Ken said with a smile. Erinyes
Right. There are a few problems here. First, there are a few typos, which can be found by you rereading your story. Without typos, your story has a better chance of being read. Now, that duel was pretty boring, not very climatic, and here's the main reason: you never built any suspense. Although before the duel even started I knew what was going to happen down to the very last part of the chapter, if you would have built suspense it would have made for an entertaining experience. Another way you can make the duel better is by adding descriptions to the monsters as they are summoned, or the spells/traps as they are played. For example, describe what Cyber Dragon looks like. As for characters, Ishin seems like a physically fit Jadan clone. We didn't really get to know any of the other characters, except maybe Allie, who has absolutely no manners to authority, even if the authority member doesn't deserve them. Finally, try not to name too characters with the same beginning letter; it's just common sense. Ishin and Ivan, for example.

Rokandre
I think you used "Ishin" too many times. Try change with other word. Besides that, I really liked. Keep the good work.

Anbu-of-Sand
Just finished reading it. The story...well, somewhat was a bore to me at certain times. The duels didn't have like Erinyes said, any suspense. The duels and other parts also could've had a bit more detail in certain places to keep the people who were reading it reeled in, wanting to read more and whatnot. There was also a few lacking of emotions in certain places as well. For example, in Ishin's first duel, to me, it looked like he was having a boring time, having no well, fun during the duel. Also a few tiny grammar errors and whatnot in certain places as well. Hope this helps.
Premier Alexander Romanov
It's pretty solid. I like what you're doing, though some card descriptions might be nice.
Palaios
Like the others are saying, some descriptions couldn't hurt things. They length the reading, which in turn helps build suspense. Also, building suspense also helps build suspense too, so there's that too. Also, reread. Just saying. XD Other than that, keep going. I like the idea for the story and wanna see it evolve and continue.

Palaios
True, it is nice to see what the created cards full text is. Typically it's only needed for one or two appearances before you start remembering em though, so later on I could understand leaving them out to save space.
