My friend has been banned for NO APPARENT REASON

ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN.

 

I have been a member of this site for months now and I have enjoyed being a part of it for so long. Today I invited my friend round and I showed him the site and he created an account under the name of Storm. He had just created 2 very good cards, I did help him with them though as he had never been on the site before. He has now suddenlt been banned from the forum and can no longer get on. I am appealing as to why he was banned. He admits that he started a contest without having 100 but I thought that this wasnt a legitimit rule and I thought that it certainly wasnt ban-worthy. I want him back on so please help me!!!!

Personally, I think banning double accounts is a stupid rule. Mostly because of instances like this. Most of the time, you can't prove that you're 2 people people using the same IP. For this reason, I think there should be a new 2 account per IP rule.

Was he ever given his accountback?? See the rediculous thing is that I live in a house with my brother and several occasions he came close to joining the site. Therefore according to the logic of the MODERATORS if he would have joined and he would have been on his account in his room and I would have been on my account in my room the MODERATORS have grounds to ban him because of having the same IP adress WTF. So if we both wanted to go on YCM either me or him would have to go to an internet cafe I dont think so, thats rule is simply rediculous. I WANT TO LET ALL OF YCM KNOW, I WILL FIGHT TO GET HIM BACK!!!! Because you cant just chuck people off this site for having the same IP adress, think about brothers and friends on the site under the same group. This is an outrage and I will fight to get him back.

Well there could still be instances of 3 brothers/friends under the same IP adress on YCM so i still think that 2 people is still too strict. People!!!! it is sooo easy to spot double accounting just look for the signs and stop the unfairness that screws people out of using the site!!!!

I think the reason people can't make doubles is because they usually rep scam or something. Hopefully you get your friends account back.

Actually sometimes it's not stupid. the only reason why I think double accounts are bad is because you can rep yourself with your other account.
