After a while of trading and collecting and a lot of LOTD packs, I am finally getting close to my goal of having a lightsworn deck. For those of you who remember me, hello again, and for those who don't, Hello! I'm anacondas1 - the really nice guy who always signs his posts even though he needs not too!

Anyway, here is what I have so far - correct to the current banlist, not to the next one......

MONSTERS: 25
1x Judgment Dragon
2x Celestia, Lightsworn Angel

3x Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
3x Wulf, Lightsworn Beast
2x Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior
2x Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid
2x Jain, Lightsworn Paladin
2x Shield Warrior (Trade for Gorz and Judgement when I obtain the cards)
2x Honest
1x Jurrac Monoloph (Until I can find My gale, or obtain a PSZ)
1x Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner
1x Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress
1x Ehren, Lighsworn Monk
1x Necro Gardna
1x Card Trooper

SPELLS: 10
3x Solar Recharge
1x Charge of the Light Brigade
1x Heavy Storm
1x Monster Reincarnation
1x Brain Control
1x Giant Trunade
1x Cold Wave

TRAPS: 7
2x Beckoning Light
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
1x Mirror Force
1x Call of the Haunted
1x Starlight Road

Please try and help :D

Wow, you've gotten alot better.

It's still not perfect, but you're getting there.

DECKBOOSTERS. Do you still use them?

Uhh.

-2 Shield Warrior
+1 JD
+1 Gorz

(when you get them)
[/quote]

Thanks mate :D

Yep I still use Deckboosters, but I haven't in a while - :/

and Once I get Gorz and Judgement, that seems like a fair enough swap in, I mark it in now

-2 Beckoning
+2 Monster Reincarnation

-1 Aukus
-1 Garoth
-1 Jain
+1 Lyla

-1 Ryko
-1 Necro
+2 Gold Sarco

40 cards now!

1 - So far beckoning has been working a lot better than reincarnation has for me. I will consider it, but I want to play test it for a while longer before any decision
2 - I know I need another lyla - but aurkus at two has been working great. The other two not so much, but I think i am going to keep aurkus at two.
3 - I would love Sacro, but I haven't even seen one yet, and there is other expenses I need to cover before getting one off of the internet
4 - I always have 41/42 because it annoys my brother. Simples

Well, i find that Beckoning is too slow now, for me Reincarnation works better. 1 Aurkus is more than enough IMO but it may depend of your locals, i'm seeing less and less cards that target in mine's but i mostly use it as an Extra name for JD!

I have been finding more and more recently that fielding Aurkus has been really useful, as it stops targets, is an extra name and It stops my brothers really annoying tactic of a first turn bora aganst my defence :D
Beckoning is also useful, as I can use it as a prevention tactic, by adding honest to my hand just befoe there battle phase, meaning that they would have to end there battle phase, of face being honest-ed

So Along with the Shield Warriors for JD and Gorz, I'd do:

-1 Starlight (you'll most likely win before you need this)
-1 Call of the Haunted (Bad in LS)
-1 Aurkus (2 is too many)
-1 Garoth (see Aurkus)
-1 Ryko (Too slow at 3)

+1 Lyla (Should be better than 3 Ryko)
+2 Thunder King Rai-Oh (Can prevent opponent's Synchros/other special summons. So good in Standard LS)
+1 Tragoedia (Not as good as Gorz, but still useful)
+1 Foolish Burial (Main Target is Wulf, but can still help to summon JD)

1 - Starlight has helped often, so I am reluctant to take it out - same with Ryko and Aurkus, they have been too useful at those numbers to be taken away
2 - fine with the loss of garoth and call
3 - Trying for lyla, so I will add it to the first post as soon as you can tell me which card is the best to take out for it
4 - Don't like foolish. Tried it once, and it ended up slowing me down when I least needed it. I may be wrong, but that is my experience
5 - would love to have Rai-Oh and Tragodia, but I don't think I will be seeing them any time soon - though I can still try and find them.....
