If something doesn't exist anymore, did it ever exist?

It is quite a weird conundrum because if something doesn't exist anymore then does that mean it even existed? It could have been in all of our heads, it is also the same problem of are we real?

Technically their bones still exist. So part of them is still around.

And even if those were gone, there'd still be records of dinosaurs existing at some point in Earth's history. The problem comes in when those are gone too, and no one knows for sure if they ever did exist.

Technically yes, the dinosaurs did still exist no matter what happens. But people may pass them off as a myth.

Of course it did exist. It would have had some sort of effect on history, whether it be huge or the smallest thing possible.
