Tentacruel
By down the street I mean like two miles away. That would be fine (people would still complain, they would just look slightly more ridiculous in doing so than they do now.)

Scyire
@poopybottoxesFinal statement, this time for realz You may hate the idea that they build a mosque close to Ground Zero, but when you ask yourself why the world views America as ignorant, your responses to this thread should answer your question. Catman25
My 2 cents: I heard that apparently the Imam wanting to build the mosque has terrorist connections. But that's contradictory, since if he was to support terrorism 2 blocks from G.Z. then he knows he'd be under suspicion the whole time. He knows what a controversy his mosque would create and thus, I conclude, that he should be able to build a mosque. He'll be under the supervision of millions of suspicious New Yorkers, so his intentions probably are just to practice religion. Unless, he's trying to fool us all with reverse psychology, why else would he pick ground zero as the ideal place for a mosque? Americans need to stop with the skepticism. If these guys turned out to be terrorists, they picked a lousy spot to hold meetings. ._. tl;dr Let 'em build their mosque.

Although I agree with that last statement, I think people are mad about it not because of possible danger, but the irony of it. They claim to be "offended." I really dont get why. I love muslum people. Not because their muslum but because they're people, and i definintly dont hate the idea of a mosque, or this mosque. It is against christianity to respect the idea that there is another god. Its the first commandment. I will not apologize for being a believer in GOD's word. @VK: You dont care what happens anyway do you? Really think. Do you? Cause you dont have a religion (im guessing from your post). So why care anyway? I think all the people that join the army are making a horrible mistake. They are pretty much signing their life away. "Hey, do you wanna die for a country that spreads the most evil on earth and really doesnt give a crap about you?" You're pretty much signing a suicide note, and for what? You guys are mad at me for following my religion, but you can support people killing and dying for pointless reasons? Your logic needs to be thought through a little bit more thoroughly. And through all of this i still love you guys. Why you ask? Because your people just like i am. That wanna be loved just like i do, and want to love others just like i do. You just dont understand how to go about doing that yet, but let the thought of it dwell in your mind.

The only difference is how it is interpreted.Fun Fact 2: Allowing a mosque to be built near Ground Zero does not mean you're giving respect to a God not of your religion. Stop being stupid please. As stated before: I think building the mosque would show that america has fogiven and forgotten the wrong doing on our country, and show alot of love. I know its not all muslums, but the majority of america seems to think so. I respect all people, but i cannot respect the religion as being true because it would be breaking the first commandment. New statements: They are NOT the same god. They have different characteristics which makes them different. Thats like saying a ford mustang and a dodge charger are the same car just a few differences. New fun fact. Y'alls fun facts are fictionous Respect my views toward this topic. Its my "opinion" and im entitled to it.

Its my "opinion" and im entitled to it. No one has to "respect" your opinion if they disagree with it. Just like you don't have to "respect" another religion as being true; which, by the way makes no f***ing sense. "Accepting" it as being true and "respecting" it are two different situations. You don't have to believe it is fact, but show some damn respect for the people that take their time to look forward to it, and the meaning(s) it gives to them. And before you finish jabroniing about how "their god" and our Christian God have different characteristics, think about this: Allah or whomever is the Muslim god (forgive me if this isn't entirely correct) gives reincarnation right? Didn't God create man (as His word says) in his own liking (like Himself)? So isn't that essentially reincarnation?
Guest
but even the democrats are out there protesting. There might even be more democrats than republicans because they are against the war and really against the 9/11 thing. and i dislike america because they let the illuminati run the media and most political dealings. He may as well have ended his post with "TROLOLOLOLOL", and yet people still listen.
