Sooo unoriginal. First off, you don't use the word "he" in a card.
Here's an OCG, or Official Card Grammar, fix.
"This card can only be equipped to "Link." That card gains 1000 ATK."
This card's been done. Over and over again. Just with different names and pictures.
Honestly, this is an uncreative fail. 0/10.

Hey guys, how much originality can you expect in Pop Culture?

Anyway, I'm not gonna do a full out rate. This card is just too simple as is. I mean, it does its job, but if it were real, no one would use it. There are way better options. Axe of Despair does the same thing without a limit to what monster it can be equipped to. Obviously, this card should only be equipped to Link since he's the only one that I know of that can use the Master Sword.

Here's an example:

Equip only to a "Link". The monster equipped with this card gains 1000 ATK. Once per turn, you can negate the activation of a Spell, Trap or monster effect that targets the equipped card.

...don't copy this verbatim, I hate ppl using what I say/post and claiming it as their own. Besides, it's still simple and I'm not sure the OCG is 100% correct. But you get the idea.

Keep trying and I'll give you a full rate, but until then 6/10

I have seen it, and I agree, it is very original. That and other such threads are the reason I didn't say that there is no such thing as originality in PC. I just think that originality isn't a field to be graded here because it can be insanely hard to make an original card or set here. Take this, for example, how many Naruto or Bleach threads are there here? How easy is it to be original with everyone else making similar (and even sometimes the exact same) cards? I don't rate for originality on this thread because of this. Merely a personal choice on my part. Plus, when you make that comparison, you're comparing a noob to a 5 Star member, that's about the same as comparing a 1st grader and a high school senior at math. It makes little sense. I couldn't compete with you or NeosWiseman at cardmaking, and I would like to believe in all modesty that I'm at least decent at making cards. Finally, we're all noobs in the beginning, and we all get better with proper advice.

I understand your point, but my originality problem with this thread was that the effects were unoriginal. This card is Axe of Despair but incredibly limited.

This is Freshman Year all over again. The guy's new; he probably doesn't search the forums to see if his cards been done already. Yes, his card sucks. Yes, it is unoriginal.
