Yu Gi Oh Rise Of a champion

OK I'm writing a new fanfic which takes places 10 years after Yu Gi Oh gx, so essentially 20 years after the original Yu Gi oh, I'm also looking for new characters to join my stroy, I will award you with a rep for every character, I'm planning on writing 3 seasons,

information on season 1:

When Maximillion J. Crawford Pegasus created the Egyptian God cards he realized there supreme power so along with that he created the Wicked Gods the only duel monsters cards in history stronger than the Egyptian gods...When Pegasus passed away, at his funeral before he died, it he had left one note, that the three chosen duelists must duel and the winner will guard the Wicked God cards with his life until he dies, the three chosen duelists Pegasus picked to star in the duel were, Joey Wheeler, Yugi Moto and Seto Kaiba. Several Months after Pegasus had passed away the three chosen ones, met up and dueled for the sacred cards, Seto Kaiba won thanks to his most powerful card which Pegasus gave to him, Blue eyes shining Dragon, so it was agreed Seto would guard the cards with his life, but 6 years after the duel, something strange happens...something that is about to change history!

Ok here are the current characters at the moment, just to get it straight, Jaden,Joey, Aster etc. none of them will be appearing only Kaiba but much older obviously and Yugi several times in the fanfic.

Short bio: Damien has never had any friends, he grew up a loner and always has been one, it is later revealed in the fanfic Damien was Jinx's best friend at pre school

Chapter 1:

The moon's shadows danced on the mysterious case inside Seto Kaiba's office. Sinister winds blew outside of the compund, and the darkness inside seemed to convulse with life. What was in the case itself, however, was even more devastating than the shadows ever could have been. Inside that protected case lied three of the most powerful cards existing, three of the most deadly cards ever released. Even their names were seldom said, as it was thought to bring about death to the speaker.
As they remained within their glass prison, a solitary figure made his way into the room. He was shrouded, seemingly uncautious of the possibility of being caught. He stopped inches from the front of the case, and raised a gloved hand from his cloak. He thrust it forward, but the glass did not shatter. Instead, his hand passed through like water, and he carefully lifted out the cards. He stared at them in the dim light, then turned and left.

"Mr. Seto, the cards are gone!" The voice came from a nervous employee, who pointed anxiously at the empty casing. The room was filled with police and investigators, all abuzz on the missing cards.
The noise died out when Seto spoke. His tall frame seemed to blot out the sun, and his icy eyes froze the will of anyone in his tracks. He frowned venomously at the employee. "You'd better be joking, but then again, I hate jokes. As the head of security, you're paid to make sure those cards don't get stolen." He angrily indicated the empty case. "Where are they then?"
The employee wilted under Seto's gaze. "I-I know Mr. Seto, but we're dumbfounded. This case was six-inch thick solid plexiglass; There's no way anyone should have been able to even get close to opening it!"
Seto scoffed and shoved him out of the way. He strode over to the case and peered close. There was no sign of forced entry, not even a tiny scratch. Suddenly. like an exploding bomb, something ominous in his head pieced together a conclusion. He slowly rose up and walked out of the room, leaving the rest of the investigators to fruitlessly pursue evidence.
He leaned onto the wall and tried to slow down his heart. There was no way that someone was trying to use those three cards for something like THAT, was there? He tried to push that thought away, but it still remained. The Wicked gods were nightmarishly powerful cards, and someone with all three...
He took out his mobile phone and contacted his brother. "Mokuba, get me Isono. I think it's time for one more Battle City to commence!"


It's more like a prologue but that's how the first chapter has to start, short and mysterious

You know, you could just write "Prologue" instead of Chapter one instead of saying "Its more like a prologue".

Here's chapter 2:

A dark, ominous figure watched from atop a distant rooftop as a duel concluded below. He wore a black cloak that hid his features, but his piercing red eyes gleaned from beneath his hood. A figure appeared behind him and bent down onto one knee.

"My lord, we have not located the card yet. You will be notified upon its capture."

"See to it that no one stands in our way" The cloaked figure replied gruffly. the kneeling man vanished. The cloaked figure turned to the conclusion of the duel below. "I might just have to keep an eye on you as well, Jinx Akunabi..."


Beast King Barbaros sliced through Richard's lifepoints, bringing him to 0. "Yes! I won!" jinx grinned as Richard angrily handed over his armor chip. Jinx beamed as he now had a left arm gauntlet and leg armor.

"That was pretty cool." Jinx turned to see two girls standing behind him. One was a bit taller, with long blond hair and a confident air about her, along with a right arm gauntlet. The other one was a bit shorter with glasses and brown hair, and seemed to be perpetually shy, with right leg armor. The taller one smiled, "My name's Sarah Motou, and this is Kira. You said your name was Jinx, right?"

Jinx gasped. "Are you related to THE Yugi Motou?!"

Sarah giggled. "Yeah, I'm his cousin. Anyways, we're just looking for someone worth fighting around here."

Jinx puffed out his chest. "You've come to the right guy!"

Kira decided to talk. "Sorry, but if you want to duel us, we need to see you duel again, but against someone a bit more skillfull." Richard fumed. Kira pointed over behind Jinx. "You'll have to duel him."

Jinx turned to see a towering figure standing in the middle of the street, staring straight at him. He had a grey outfit on, and short navy hair, with a knife-like stare that stabbed towards him. He barely even spoke, he just held up a right arm gauntlet and said, "Duel."

Jinx cocked his head. "Um, okay. Let's do it, then." He activated his dueldisk, unawares of why Sarah and Kira would want him to fight someone like this guy. Strangely enough, he began to see a small crowd gather, with whispers of, 'Oh man, he's taking on Lanser!' or 'That guy's done for!' Not exactly confidence building.

Kira tugged at Sarah's sleeve. "Sarah, why are we having him duel Arc Lanser? Not only will he lose, we haven't asked anyone else to do this before they duel us."

Sarah smirked, "I know Kira, but there's something different about this guy." She turned to watch them start. "Something different indeed. And if there's anyone who can match his inner power, it's Arc "The Lone Wolf" Lanser."

Arc drew first. "Summon Gene-Warped Warwolf" He spoke quietly. As the four-armed beast growled, he set one face-down and ended his turn.

Jinx drew next. "Okay, I summon Phantom Beast Wild Horn in ATK mode!" The bull-like monster flashed its 1700 ATK.

Arc spoke briefly. "Activate Bottomless Trap Hole. Your monster is removed from play." A warp hole opened under Jinx's monster, and it disappeared. Jinx set two face-downs and ended his turn.

Arc drew. "Summon Silver Fang." The monster howled its 1200 ATK. "Attack directly." Gene-Warped Warwolf and Silver Fang charged, but Jinx activated a trap.

"Mirror Force! Your monsters are destroyed!" Both of Arc's wolves were vaporized, and he set a face-down to end his turn.

Jinx drew. "I summon my Phantom Beast Thunder Pegasus in DEF mode!" The two-headed horse neighed its 2000 DEF. "I end my turn."

Arc drew. "Activate Monster Reincarnation." He added his Warwolf back to his hand. "Activate Ritual of Doom Litmus. Tribute Lycanthrope and Gene-Warped Warwolf to summon Litmus Doom Swordsman." The sword-wielding warrior flashed 0 ATK. "Activate face-down card, Pole Position." Since there was a face-up trap, Litmus Doom Swordsman's ATK rose to 3000, and now since he was the strongest monster on the field, he was unaffected by spell cards, and already unaffected by traps and unable to be destroyed in battle. "Attack." Litmus Doom Swordsman sliced through Thunder Pegasus. He set two face-downs and ended his turn.

Jinx drew. "Oh man, this'll be tough, but doable. I summon my Gazelle, the King of Mythical Beasts in ATK mode! Next I play my spell card, Double Summon, so I can tribute Gazelle to summon Phantom Beast Rock Lizard!" The scaly monster hissed 2200 ATK. "Next I play Wild Nature's Release, to boost Rock Lizard's ATK to 4200! Now attack his Swordsman!"

Arc activated another trap. " Activate Sakuretsu Armor. Your lizard is destroyed." Rock Lizard exploded, but then Arc was caught in a blinding flash, and his lifepoints fell down to 2000.

Jinx smirked, "You fell prey to Rock Lizard's effect! When destroyed by an effect, you lose 2000 lifepoints!" Arc regained himself and began his turn.

"Attack directly with Litmus doom Swordsman." the monster slashed Jinx's lifepoints and he fell to 1000. Arc ended his turn.

Jinx drew. "Okay, I play Magical Stone Excavation, and discard two cards to replay Double Summon, so I can play my Phantom Beast Cross Wing, and then summon Manticore of Darkness in ATK mode!" The winged beast roared 2300 ATK. "i set one card and end my turn."

Arc drew. "Swordsman attack your Manticore." The swordsman slashed through Manticore, and Jinx's lifepoints fell to 300.

"Now I can activate Manticore's effect! By discarding Trojan Horse, I can summon him back to my field!" Arc ended his turn.

Jinx drew. "Okay, I play my trap, Call of the Haunted! This lets me summon back my Trojan Horse, but I'll tribute it and my Manticore to summon my Mosaic Manticore in DEF mode!" The monstrosity roared 2500 DEF. "I set one face-down and end my turn."

Kira exhaled. "Whew! This duel keeps getting better!"

Sarah watched as Arc drew. "Something tells me that it's about to get even better!"

Hmmm, that is an brillant Fan Fic, have you written one before ? It is good, yet there is a few minor mistakes left in the Prologue or Chapter 1 that im unsure that are mistakes. I don't think Kaiba could beat Yugi, even with BESD I don't think that and I know that Kaiba's first name is Seto, but wouldn't employees call him Mr Kaiba insted of Mr Seto, but it doesn't matter. I think this Fan Fic also needs Spoilers to organize the Fan Fic making it easier to understand, you could change the "Imformation on Season 1" to Plot. Also, the Title seems familular like I've heard it before, anyway good luck and Chapter 2 is good.

Thanks for the feedback Destruction hero, This is my first fanfic, lol so what if Kaiba beating Yugi is unrealistic, It fits my storyline better, I'm just typing up chapter 3, I'll probably post it tomorrow, as I don't want to post too much to quick.

Well I agree that chapter 2 is better than the first, but theres just one thing. Even if Rock Lizard did attack Limtus Swordsman of Doom, Arc's Life Points would of dropped to 2800 (not counting the 500 points of damage inflicted since LSOD cannot be destroyed by battle) and Rock Lizard would of been destroyed by Wild Nature's Release. That was the only negitive comment, I think the duel was intense and you used great strategy along with powerful cards, im excited how Jinx might overcome this.

thanks, well trust me it get's better, I've already written the next 3 chapters in advance, at school as well, sneaky me here is chapter 3 hope you like it:

Chapter 3

Arc drew to begin his turn. His lifepoints were currently 2000, while Jinx's were 300. "Litmus Doom Swordsman attacks your Manticore." The monster slashed through Mosaic Manticore and Jinx's lifepoints were untouched. Via Manticore's effect, however, the monsters he tributed for it were summoned back in DEF mode. "End of turn."

Jinx drew. "Okay, time for me to summon my ultimate monster! I sacrifice my two monsters to summon my Beast King Barbaros in ATK mode!" Trojan Horse and Manticore of Darkness were tributed so that the mighty lance-wielding monster could descend to the field, with 3000 ATK points.

Arc was unmoved. "Not enough to defeat Litmus Doom Swordsman." Suddenly Barbaros raised up his lance and lightning flashed onto Arc's monster, and it disintegrated into nothing. Arc was stunned. "What?"

Jinx grinned. "You play a pretty good combo Arc. Summoning you Doom Swordsman and equipping it with Pole Positiohn to make it almost invincible. There's only one thing that can break it though, and that's a monster effect! And when my Beast King Barbaros is summoned with three tributes, my Trojan Horse counting for two, all your monsters are destroyed!"

Barbaros charged forward and speared through Arc's lifepoints, and he sank to 0. "I lost..." He muttered in a strange kind of daze. Jinx walked over and held out his hand to shake. Arc smiled back, and shook it, then handng him his armor chip. "Yours now. Take it." Jinx strapped it on and beamed proudly.

Sarah and Kira approached him. "Wow, you're pretty good, Jinx."

"Yeah, I know! So who can I duel next? I'm three parts away from the finals!"

Sarah glanced at her watch. "Actually, no one. Kira and I are heading downtown to get some food. Maybe later." The two left, leaving Jinx standing there utterly speechless. Arc walked over next to him.

"Rematch?"

"No! You've only got one piece left, and I already have it! Rrgh, is it so hard to find worthy competition around here?" As his sentence finished, a figure seemed to emerge from the shadows almost seamlessly, as if he and it were one. He had bone-white hair, and had blood-red eyes. An imposing figure, to say the least.

"You looking for someone to duel? I've got nothing to do." He took out his deck and placed it in his dueldisk.

Jinx was skeptical. "But you don't have any Armor Chips! There's no point in me wagering!"

The figure smiled warmly. "Oh don't worry. How about I put one of my rare cards up for an ante instead? And just to be nice, you don't even have to waqer something, Armor Chip or card."

Jinx eagerly brought out his deck, but Arc stopped him. He glared at the boy with cold, questioning eyes. The boy merely shrugged. Arc turned back to Jinx and whispered, "Careful."

Jinx ignored the comment and took the first move. "Okay, I play my Trap Booster! By discarding 1 card, I can activate my trap card from my hand, Level Conversion Lab! With this, I roll a dice, and whatever comes up becomes the monster in my hand's new level!" The dice was thrown, and it landed on three. "So now I can play my Beast King Barbaros in ATK mode without tribute!" The 3000 ATK beast roared violently. "But next I play Premature Burial, so I can resurrect the monster I discarded earlier, my Mosaic Manticore in ATK mode!" His new beast had 2800 ATK. "I set one face-down and end my turn." He now had 3200 lifepoints.

The mysterious boy drew. "Okay, I summon my Double Coston in DEF mode." The ghost-like monster giggled 1400 DEF. "I set two face-downs and end my turn."

Jinx drew. "Okay, I attack with my Mosaic Manticore!" The monster lunged, but the boy activated his face-down.

"Go Nightmare Wheel! Your monster is frozen in place and can't attack!" The torture device was strapped to Jinx's Manticore. Jinx frowned. "Okay then, I'll attack with my Barbaros!" But the boy was ready with another trap as well.

"Sakuretsu Armor! Your Barbaros is destroyed!" The beast exploded. Jinx's mind reeled. This guy was good! It was like he knew all of his moves, or something. Before he ended his turn, he spoke. "Hey, you never told me what card you're anteing. Mind letting me know?"

The boy smirked venomously. He chuckled as he drew. "Okay, but I should warn you, this card's a bit more powerful than you'd expect. First off though, I'll play my spell card Summon Catcher! Now I select a card in your hand, and if it's a monster, I can summon it to my field! But first you lose 500 from Nightmare Wheel!" Jinx's lifepoints went to 2700. The boy selected a card, and it turned out to be Phantom Beast Wild Horn.

"Now to summon it to my field, I have to pay lifepoints equal to twice its ATK." He was unflinched as his lifepoints fell to 600.

"Dude, why pay all those lifepoints just to take one of my monsters?" Jinx asked while Wild Horn was summoned to the boy's field.

The boy leered at him frighteningly. "Because I'm about to show you one of the most terrifying cards ever produced. Get ready for my ultimate servant, The Wicked Dreadroot!" He tributed Wild Horn and Double Coston, which counted for two, to summon his creature.

Suddenly the sky turned dark. Ominous clouds hovered above the field and a dangerous rumbling emanated from the ground. Suddenly a monstrous claw forced its way down through the sky, and a horrific creature slammed onto the gorund. The boy laughed maniacally as the monster stood upright. It towered over the field, with great skeletal armor and huge beating wings. Its arms bulged with power, and its eyes seemed to freeze all things in its tracks.

Jinx began to shiver as the boy glanced at him again. "Prepare yourself, Jinx Akunabi! You're about to face the wrath of my mighty shadow God, the Wicked Dreadroot!"

Cybernerd, some people don't like quadriple posts. Anyway, chapter 3 is slightly better than chapter 2, this Fan Fic needs spoilers to organise it and you need to explain why a strange would bet one of the most powerful cards just for a few chips. Onto positive, you've made 3 even more intense, I was expecting the a Wicked God to be summoned half way through the Fan Fic, so Jinx is doomed in my opinion, since how can he destroy the joined most powerful monster that has 4000 Atk and will half Jinx's monsters Atk, im excited.
