Well dude its the fact that you cant make an original vanilla. Theres a vanilla for every ATK and DEF (not OPed). You cant make them new. In the game no one uses vanillas anymore. You used to be able to run mad dogs and archfiend soldiers, but the game is too advanced now to waste your time with them.

I don't really care about what the official cards would be like, these are just fun cards so I can make them the way I like as they won't get used in duels anyways

Okay then. As you will see most of the people here seem to do care. So, if you want some positive critics, try to improve your card making. By the way, what is the point in making game cards not for using in a card game?

The point is to try to make interesting cards. Not the exact same thing that everyone has seen a thousand times before again and again.
