If it destroys an opponent's monster by battle, your opponent takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's ATK. You can send this face-up card from your side of the field to the Graveyard to draw 1 card. Destroy this card during the second standby phase after activation." Not much different from what you had up there, actually. Also, I think it should be a continuous spell, like soul devouring bamboo sword, since it has a very similar effect, and since it doesn't really equip itself to the target monster.
