The Native Archetype

Recommended Posts

My Native cards are based quite obviously of Native Americans, and rely on spiritually communicating and powering up from cards in the Graveyard...

Most cards are based of the Lakota tribe...

Native - Buffalo Queen

1 "Native" Tuner monster + 2 or more Non-Tuner monsters.
This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. This card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each Beast-Type, Beast-Warrior-Type and Winged-Beast in your Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle.

Native - Charming Wolf

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or "Native" monster from your hand.

Native - Freezing Eagle

This card is also treated as a Winged-Beast-Type. When this card is Summoned, you may pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Native" monster from your Graveyard.

Native - Spirit Bison Wi

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. When this card is Summoned, you may pay 500 Life Points to add 1 "Native" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Native - Harmonious Wind

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. When you Normal Summon an "Native" monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.

Native - Spirit of Dawn

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. When this card is Summoned, you may send 1 "Native" card from your Deck to your Graveyard, to gain 800 Life Points.

Native - Sprinting Horse

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. When this card is destroyed you may Special Summon 1 "Native" monster with 2000 or less DEF.

Native - Hunting Wolf

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. When this card is destroyed you may Special Summon 1 "Native" monster with 1500 or less ATK.

Burning Soul

Tribute 1 Level 3 or lower "Native" monster. Special Summon 1 "Native" monster whose Level is equal to or lower than the Tributed monster's Level +2 from your hand or Deck. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card.

OCG fix as requested:
"This card is also treated as a Beast-Type. This card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each Beast-Type, Beast-Warrior-Type and Winged-Beast in your Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle."

Nothing actually much wrong with the OCG other than capitalization and the/your.

And yeah, it's hard to judge since I've not seen these 'Natives'.

You better hope you can get at least 5 monsters in the Graveyard before you use it though XD Otherwise I'd use Stardust Dragon or something...

Though the destruction safety thing is good to use. It really only provides a shield.

+Rep not necessary.

Rep Given...

It's not meant to be used early... It's meant to be used when you've fully used your Natives and have filled your graveyard...

Well if and when you finish the Archtype, make sure it doesn't get Overpowerd with about 3000 ATK from 10 monsters D:

Thanks for rep too

Yes because Colossal fighter, who gets 200 per Warrior, starting at 2800 isn't Op'd!

Added a tuner!

Nice cards LIAM has already done the OCG grrr lol but to the cards:

Native Buffalo Queen: A good standard yu gi oh card, nothing out of the ordinay but none the less a solid card. The only issue is with the image its good but it looks like it could have been cut better.

Native Charming wolf: Exactly what I said about your last card

You can create good cards but I feel you do them a disservice with the poorly cropped pictures.

Still very good 8.2/10

Ah yes, but he can be destroyed by battle, and is only affected by Warriors XD

Also,

Native Charmer is like a Marauding Captain for the set, however, being able to Summon
Winged-Beast-Type, might affect Blackwing monsters XD... if real.

But it is a Tuner, maybe just make it an Effect monster, that way it's less 'abusable'... if you know what I mean.
Maybe limit it to Special Summon only "Native" monsters.

I like all the pictures except Spirit of Dawn. It has too much background. Maybe crop it a lil but its cool how it looks like the bird in Charming Wolf's picture :)
Yeah... I may crop that...

I didn't realise it was in Charming wolfs picture... I picked it as the colour of it's breast was used to describe the god of dawn...
