[spoiler=Okay to my recollection this hasn't been done before, so here's my idea]

"We design a new Fan Fic, called something along the lines of "The YCM Community Project" Or something like that until we reach an appropriate titles. Basically the Fic is designed so that as a collaborative effort, the YCM Community can create their own Yu-Gi-Oh! Season, basically the poject would have seperate parts eg: Design characters/settings, Plot Additions, Suggested Writers etc. The new Fic would involve YCM to help design characters and other essentials to a yu-Gi-Oh! story, than through the help of willing writers, we can create a chapter sequence of a brand new Yu-Gi-Oh! Season! Of course characters could be rejected and accepted along with settings and plot ideas. The characters and settings of course would be there mainly to help create the image. I think it would be quite interesting as it would get alot of the YCM Community involved + allow for people to see their characters come to life...in a way. Also in the future the idea could branch off into new projects for people to collaboratively attempt to create."

What to expect from this?

- New characters, Antagonists and Protaganists
- New Settings, possibly some existing ones to
- New dueling style? This will be deliberated, if unable to come up[ with a sound idea than we stick with an original
- New storylines, Hopefully some innovative new plots
- Longer Chapters, It gets annoying reading long chapters, however hopefully through this the chapters, expecially the first chapter, will consist of more then just 3 turns
- Many participants, hopefully several writers and designers, plus others who wish to join.
- Several "Sagas", either expanding on the first and going into a second or completing the first then going onto something completly different

How will ideas be chosen?

There will be time to post ideas, it may be over a bit of time, therefore allowing more ideas to be put into account, than they can all be deliberated and voted on in rank by the group.

Name of Proposed Fan Fic?

This will be decided when a bit of the plot is determined.

Okay, so we currently have 7 members, that's a good start, Right now we all have to deliberate over the current order things should be created in:

* Basic Characteristics of World - Year, technological status, state of society in terms of how dueling is perceived etc
* How dueling is performed in this time - Duel disks? Riders? New ideas?
* Main characters - How many, personalities, social class, reasons for dueling etc (this step may be interchangeable with the next step
* Plot - possible storylines, twists, etc
* main villains - Characteristics, goals/objectives, reasons for goals and objectives etc
* Sorting out decks for characters - What the main characters decks should be, showing set ideas etc
* Extras

Honestly, as much as a good idea it seems, I don't know how it would work. And what do you mean by new season? Are you talking original characters and storyline or already present characters in a different stroyline?

all new and different, basically what i',m thinking of is the torch of "King of games" being passed once again. I'm thinking that we can create spoilers in this thread or in a new thread detailing Character ideas, storyline plots and twists and etc: it could be a deliberated project with every idea brought forth tot he supporters of the project. then with the help of experienced and willing writers a non planning thread can be made to start the chapters, if you support the idea i'll start a list.

I realy do like the idea and yes I support it. We just need a way to organise it or it'll be awkwardly set up and bad when it's put into action.

We need people who can write well, people who can formulate an interesting and somewhat-original plot, people who can create realistic, believable and relatable characters (as well as the occasional ridiculous god-complex villain), people who know the cards and rulings of the game and people who can create realistic cards. Obviously some people can fill more than one slot and there may be more slots but they are the basics.

So... Should people start putting some of their ideas out now?

well what i'm thinking is we group together some members first, maybe at least 5 who are interested. Then we (in this thread) begin creating discussions on particular aspects of the fan fic, something along the lines in this order:

Hmm, seems interesting, however, theres one thing I need to know. Is this a Season contiuned from Yugioh or is this a new Series ?

I might support this, once you've answered my question. This might be the most biggest, most organised and hardest Fan Fic to make, so good luck.

1 Question, is the decks that we will design are custom made cards or original cards from the TCG/OCG game?

I'd like them to mainly be existing decks, however, i think that if A Custom made Deck is designed well enough to be considered part of the TCG, than we can consider them.
