I'm working toward making a full, 40 card deck (balanced, hopefully, and not every card will be custom) for a school fun tournament, where we're all making custom cards (Obviously we have agreed to make them balanced).

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by removing from play one 'Dark Magician' from your side of the field.
You may remove from play every monster with 2500 ATK or more, and deal 1000 points of damage to your opponents life points for each monster removed from play.

At any time, you may play one spell card straight from your hand to the field. For each spell played with this effect, this card gains a spell counter. Whenever this card is sent to the graveyard or removed from the game, you lose 500 life points per spell counter. This monster is instantly destroyed after gaining 3 spell counters.

This card can only be normal summoned by sacrificing three spellcasters from your side of the field.
Increase this monsters ATK points by 200 for every spell in the graveyard, and for every monster with 'Dark Magician' in their name that is in the graveyard, add a spell counter to this card.
Every time this card is targeted by a spell or trap card, remove one spell counter to negate the effect of the spell or trap.
Once this card has no spell counters on it, destroy it.

This card can only be [b]N[/b]ormal [b]S[/b]ummoned by [b]tributing 3 S[/b]pellcaster[b]-Type monsters[/b] from your side of the field. When this card is Summoned, put 1 Spell Counter on this card for every "Dark Magician" monster in your Graveyard. Increase this [b]card'[/b]s ATK by 200 for every [b]S[/b]pell in the [b]G[/b]raveyard. Every time this card is targeted by a [b]S[/b]pell or [b]T[/b]rap card, [b]you can [/b]remove [b]1 S[/b]pell [b]C[/b]ounter to negate the effect of [b]that card and destroy it.[/b] [b]If this card has no Spell Counters on it, destroy it inmediatly.[/b] [/i]

[color="#800080"][size="3"][font="Comic Sans MS"][b]The effect of the last one is a bit confusing, so i fixed as i thought what you tried to mean.

Now... the first card is OP'd terribly, since you can Special Summon him too easily and be so devasting when his effect is activated.

The second card is as well OP'd, since activating spells from your hand AT ANY TIME means you can use them even as Trap cards and 500 damage every time you do that is actually nothing.

The third card was almost balanced, but the last line makes him terribly weak. I suggest that you cannot Special Summon him and erase that last line.

To be your first cards, was a good effort, keep it up.

In your battle phase you can activate 1 spell card from your hand . For each spell activated with this effect, this card gains a spell counter. Whenever this card is sent to the Graveyard or removed from play, you lose 500 life points per spell counter. If this card has spell counters is destroyed.
