1. 1. Does this deck run relatively well?

    • Yes. Runs pretty fast and can be quite leathal. Big Time Tournament Worthy

    • Decent speed. Monsters are adaquate but can be trampled pretty easy. Decent Tournament Worthy

    • Needs improvement. Does not run that fast and you can't get the right cards at certain times. Not Tournament Worthy, but playable for fun.
    • Horrible deck. Weak defense, weak offence, the cards don't make sense (who runs Crystals with Gears?!) Don't try it in a Tournament and get better cards or forget the deck to begin with.

Monsters (16):
Sapphire Pegasus x 3
Topaz Tiger x 3
Amber Mammother x 3
Ruby Carbuncle x 2
Kuraz x 3
A.G. Gadgiltron Dragon x 2
Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua x 1

Spells (18):
Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins x 3
Geartown x 3
Crystal Beacon x 3
Crystal Abundance x 3
Crystal Promise x 3
Dark Hole x 1
Crystal Blessing x 2

Traps ():
Torrentrial Tribute x 1
Mirror Force x 1
Slip Summon x 1
Magical Hats x 1
Call of the Hanuted x 1

This deck runs relatively fast and gets the Crystal Beasts out pretty quickly along with some decent powerhousers to back them up. I don't run Hamon in this deck because when I do, the lack of CB's in my Spell and Trap zones slows down the deck's swarm ability...and it's not pretty :(. I probably should add a couple Starlight Roads along with a couple of Stadust Dragons on my Extra Deck to prevent my CB's from being destroyed on my Spell/Trap zone if I don't have CB monsters to negate with Ancient City and Stardust could be another easy summon like Gadjiltron. A Monster Reborn might be helpful and I'll try to get one along with maybe a third Crystal Blessing. No Diamond Dude for me thank-you. I tried that combo...and it just doesn't fit the deck. Chacu is there not to look pretty but to deal burn damage in no-attack situations and can be brought out pretty easy using Carbuncle swarm tributes and repleneshing those monsters with Blessing. Still...Any suggestions? Maybe Like a second Magical Hats or something?

This deck is made in such a way where the deck will get cards on your hand and field quickly while at the same time summoning swarms of monsters with them not just being Crystal Beasts. While the player builds up the Crystal Beast back row he or she can play cards like Geartown and then Ancient city to get gadjiltron out. 3k attacker and no spell or trap cards can be activated while it attacks? That seems pretty decent. Then you have Kuraz to either destroy your own Crystal Beast AND/OR Geartown to send them into your back row faster, summon Gadjiltron again and draw 2 cards. The Dragons take care of most of your opponent's monster's freely and soon (3-4 turns for me) you have a backrow ready for abundance at any point in the game and a quick OTK. Carbuncle can be used to sward monsters in for sacrifices for Kuraz or Chuca which can be very useful. And lastly is the support which is a bunch of cards that destroy monsters (Dark Hole and Torrentrial) or summoner cards like Slip Summon and Magical Hats (Which can be used with 2 Geartowns and at the End Phase you'd get 2 Gadjiltrons easy). It's a 40 card deck so it mills pretty quickly, but I'm sure it can get faster with a few other cards.

That's what I'm trying to get at...how "can" I make this deck go faster than it already goes?

I looked up some more info on this deck and found that running 2 Magical Hats could be good with this deck. Pot of Avarice was also suggested, but by the time I use it it's game over. Another suggestion was to run Battle Fader, at least 2 and instead of Chacu use Aslla Piscu because I can combine that with Kuraz's effect...but that wouldn't work because kuraz would be destroying Piscu, not removing it, right?

Caius is the best monarch. You're better off using that over Kuraz.

Get rid of the EBI and replace it with Summoner Monk. Also do:

-1 Call of the Haunted
-1 Crystal Promise
-1 Magical Hats

+3 Rare Value

Rare Value @3 is a MUST in any good CB deck.

And remove Slip Summon for Monster Reborn.

Honestly, though, you're better off running pure CBs.

Summoner Monk is good in this deck, so yeah, I'd probably add that instead of Earthbound, and call as well. rare-value is kinda weird however, but I might add 2 instead of 3. Caius is good for alot of things, maybe I'll run double Caius and Double Kuraz. I did get a monster reborn, but I'm also gonna run it with slip summon because it combos real good with Pegasus. So far, the new deck looks kinda like this:

Monsters (18)
Pegasus x 3
Tiger x 3
Mammoth x 3
Kuraz x 2
Caius x 2
Summoner Monk x 1
Carbuncle x 2
Gadjiltron x 2

Spells (20):
Promise x 2
Blessing x 2
Abundance x 3
Beacon x 3
Ancient City x 3
Geartown x 3
Rare Value x 2
Monster Reborn x 1
Dark Hole x 1

Traps ():
Starlight Road x 2
Torrientrial x 1
Mirror Force x 1
Slip Summon x 1

Extra Deck:
Stardust Dragon x 2

I'ma run this new deck today and tmro to see how it goes. I expect it not only to be faster, but much more aggresive. I'll see how it goes for now. AND If caius doesn't look like a good card, I'ma take them out and continue running 3 Kuraz. They are useful in many situations.
