[Spoon's Dual] Hacking Synchron / Warrior

Maybe the start for a whole series of stupid and horribly broken single cards with no purpose whats-o-ever

Lore:
When you use this card as a Synchro Material Monster, you can Synchro Summon from your opponents Extra Deck. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play and pay 1200 Life Points to take control of a Level 8 or lower Machine-Type Synchro or Fusion Monster your opponent controls until the End Phase. You cannot Tribute that monster, and battle damage from battles involving that monster is reduced to 0.

Lore:
"Hacking Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, select 1 Synchro Monster in your opponents Extra Deck. This card gains the effect of that card until your opponent's next End Phase. You cannot select the same target twice in the same Duel. If your opponent Summons a Machine-Type Synchro or Fusion Monster, you can remove 1 Tuner monster and 1 or more non-Tuner monsters whose total Level equals the Level of the Summoned monster in your Graveyard from play to take control of that monster.

Constructive criticism is much appreciated :)

So long,

Remove the 2nd effect. I mean really, it's quite broke. The first effect is fun and awesome, the 2nd begs for the blatant and unrepentant abuse of Synchro Change, which is not awesome.
:( I don't want to... well, guess I have to think of something else as second effect then (no, one effect is NOT enough)... I come back to it once I found inspiration.

If you must keep the effect, make it so the monster can't be Tributed or affected by your Spell Cards, and make it inflict no Battle Damage.

Hmm... yeah, why not... currently commenting (your set :P), but when I'm done, I come back to it, thank you :)

Edit: Fixed the card according to the suggestion ;)

Wow! This is a nice idea. I suppose it's useful for getting out Synchros that you might not have. Also, the second effect is also very nice, stealing a Stardust for a turn, making room for a direct attack (kinda like a Mind Control).
In addition, you chose the name really wisely, perfectly describing this card's effect and reliance on your opponent.
Maybe you should make a "Hack Warrior", or something along those lines next; I would love to see a Synchro that uses this card as a Tuner :D
Overall, great job! 9/10

Except that you can't take Stardust because he's not a Machine-Type  But yeah, that was the idea. I just looked up in the Wiki what possible targets there are... the Synchros don't seem too impressive, mostly Genex Allies and Allies of Justice... are those even played? But don't forget about the Fusions, if I recall it correctly, Cyber Twin Dragon and Chimeratech Fortress Dragon are pretty popular... or not, who knows

I'm thinking about it, if I can find a good picture (shouldn't be too hard), I guess I can do that :)

Why thank you :)

The first card is a nice idea - it's balanced and the concept is a breath of fresh air. It can mess up your opponent's strategy by stealing a synchro or stall them if they're running Machines. It seems as bland but it's usable, abusable and metaworthy. Nice. But when it comes to the second card, it gets a lot worse.

First card rating: 6.2/10.

Hacking Warrior is broken. It can gain the effect any Synchro in your opponent's Extra Deck and is total OTK fodder. You could take Mist Wurm or Brionac to clear the field, Goyo for a stealing a monster, Trishula for a quick +3 or even your opponent's Hacking Warrior so you can steal the effect of a card from your Extra Deck! Seeing as gaining effects removes any costs (like Diamond Dude), this card is completely and utterly broken. The second effect is useless unless you're playing a Machine Deck, and even then the first effect is a better option.

Out of all your cards this has to be the most broken I've seen.

1.8/10.

Thank you... at least something I did right I guess :P

Trishula and Mist Wurm wouldn't work, because their effects only activates when they're Summoned. To activate this card's effect it must be already on the field, so taking them is kinda pointless. And stealing your opponent Hacking Warrior wouldn't work either, because the card that adepts it's effect (your Hacking Warrior) is still on your side of the field, so you could still only "steal" effects from your opponents Extra Deck. While you're right about the Goyo, that would indeed break it a bit... and I don't know if the taken card stays if Goyo isn't on the field/this card looses it's effect. Gaining effects removes costs? Didn't knew that... why would it?

Anyways, thank you for commenting (on all cards I posted, that's a rare occasion), though I doubt I'll remember it for future installments... balancing and usefulness just never concerned me very much :P
