Dandelo
Just some fun project I decided to embark on out of boredom. I plan to make "Mazinger Z" the Normal Monster with the most added specific support cards (Dark Magician currently holds that title, with sixteen). A majority of his support cards will be Equip Spell Cards, and cards that deal with his Equip Spell Cards. (Oh, hey. I've almost beaten the Dark Magician.) This mecha is a gigantic super robot, constructed with the new metal element, Japanium. It was built as a secret weapon for the soul purpose of combating the forces of evil. Though only a prototype, with time it may prove worthy of its purpose.
Equip only to a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control. Your opponent can only select the equipped monster as an attack target, The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle (damage calculation is applied normally). Your opponent must attack the equipped monster with at least 1 monster they control each turn. Each time your opponent attacks the equipped monster, increase the equipped monster's ATK by the amount of Battle Damage you take, while this card is face-up on the field. If this card is destroyed by the effect of a Trap Card, shuffle it into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Equip only to a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control. It gains 1000 ATK. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, if your opponent controls a monster(s) in a Monster Card Zone(s) that is in the same column(s) as an empty Monster Card Zone(s) on your side of the field, destroy it. Inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed by this effect. If this card is destroyed by the effect of a Spell Card, shuffle it into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Equip only to a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control. When the activated effect of an Effect Monster your opponent controls that targets the equipped monster resolves, destroy the Effect Monster. If the equipped monster attacks, and your opponent's monster is not destroyed, you can destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap Card on the field. If this card is destroyed by the effect of an Effect Monster, you can shuffle this card into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Equip only to a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control. When the equipped monster attacks, if your opponent does not activate a Spell or Trap Card, you can change the equipped monster's attack to a direct attack. Destroy this card during your 3rd End Phase after activation. If the equipped monster is destroyed by a card effect while equipped with this card, shuffle this card into your Deck. Equip only to a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK for each Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text you control. The equipped monster inflicts Piercing Damage. When the equipped monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, you can shuffle 1 other Equip Spell Card you control or 1 Equip Spell Card in your hand into your Deck to double the damage inflicted. If this card is destroyed by the effect of a Trap Card, shuffle it into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Destroy 1 card on the field for each Equip Spell Card equipped to a "Mazinger Z" you control. If this card is destroyed by the effect of a Spell Card, shuffle it into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Once per turn, when a face-up "Mazinger Z" would be destroyed (by battle or card effect), you can discard 1 card instead. If the discarded card was an Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text, shuffle it into your Deck. Face-up Equip Spell Cards that include "Mazinger Z" in their card text that you control can all be placed in the same Spell & Trap Card Zone. Whenever an Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text is equipped to a face-up "Mazinger Z" or destroyed, draw 1 card.

Active only when a face-up "Mazinger Z" you control would be destroyed by a card effect. Negate the effect of the card, and destroy it. Then, destroy all face-up cards on the field with the same card type (Effect Monster, Spell Card, Trap Card). Inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed by this effect. If this face-down card is destroyed by a card effect, shuffle it into your Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Activate only when an Equip Spell Card equipped to a "Mazinger Z" you control is destroyed. Remove the Equip Spell Card from play, and destroy 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK. If the destroyed monster's ATK is higher than the ATK of all face-up "Mazinger Z" monsters you control, add 1 Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text from your Graveyard or Deck to your hand. If this card's effect is negated, shuffle it into your Deck. Activate only while you control 1 face-up "Mazinger Z", and when it is selected as an attack target. Negate the attack. Then, your opponent selects a number of cards they control equal to the number of Equip Spell Cards you control that include "Mazinger Z" in their card text. Destroy the selected cards. Inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed by this effect. If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, shuffle it into your Deck instead.

This card is also treated as "Mazinger Z" while face-up on the field. You can discard this card to add 1 "Mazinger Z" or 1 Spell or Trap Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. You can Normal Summon this card by removing 1 face-up "Mazinger Z" equipped with an Equip Spell Card from play. If you do, this card gains 1000 ATK, and is treated as "Mazinger Z" while face-up on the field. This card is uneffected by Spell Cards you control, except Spell Cards that include "Mazinger Z" in their card text. When this card is removed from the field, you can remove it from play to Special Summon 1 "Mazinger Z" from your Graveyard, or add 1 removed from play Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text to your hand. You can Normal Summon this card by removing 1 "Mazinger Z" you control from play. If you do, this card is also treated as "Mazinger Z" while face-up on the field. Then, you can select 1 Equip Spell Card that includes "Mazinger Z" in its card text in your Graveyard or Deck, and equip it to this card. If you do, this card is also treated as "Mazinger Z" while face-up on the field. Then, select any Equip Spell Cards that were equipped to the removed from play monster, and equip them to this card. LiAM
Overpowered Machine beatstick. 2000 is the highest so far for a LV4, and that was recent. Being a Machine too, a favourite and commonly overpowered Archtype, especially with Power Bond or Limiter Removal. Easily doubled up to 4200ATK with an easy Summon. Using vanilla swarm support like Birthright or anything else, you could get an OTK with two monsters + Limiter Removal, having 2 LV4's with 4200ATK each. Effort was good, you could change it to have 1500ATK, but give it lots of Equip support that does different things, with it being Machine, you could say they were 'Upgrades' or 'Weapons'. Of course those Equip Spells would need to target only this monster.
Dandelo
The ATK was a mistake on my part; it was meant to be 2000. As for "Power Bond" and "Limiter Removal"... I took those cards into consideration when making the card a Machine-Type, but honestly, it can't really be any other type (unless I make him Warrior-Type, and have people gripe about him resembling a machine). Do appreciate the comment, though. Edit: I may take you up on the Equip Spell Card(s) idea. (+rep is given.) Lowering the card's ATK may work well with his picture/story. He's meant to be humble, etc.

SP0RE
Hmm... I like the idea, however I'm unsure how well it will work, in a Deck... That if you don't make more Monsters... Here's an idea, Prototypes with the effect that they are treated as "Mazinger Z" while they're on the field... I will watch this closely... Lord Smeagle
I've got a suggestion. Since this Equip Spell will probably discourage your opponent from attacking at all, you might want to make some sort of Trap Card, possibly Continuous, that allows you to equip this card to Mazinger from your hand or Deck. Phantom M.C.
tip: don't add so many cards, wait until you get at least a few comments before you add a card. from what i can see now, these cards, when working together are quite op. you could end up with an near indestructible high atk beatstick. compulsory or brionac could easily cripple this monster, since the 2 spells are both equip. and d. prison could still get rid of this. but really, this vanilla has more than enough power now. keep it up

But I thought i'd add at least a few support cards, because I doubt anyone's going to comment on just a vanilla. And that was sort of the point. He's practically... well, worthless by himself, but his support unlocks his "true power". Or something cheesy like that.

D.A._Sakuyamon
An interesting monster, worthless alone but with those support cards god its powerful. Its like come and get me but hey when you do i'll adapt and become as powerful as you afterward. Hmm perhaps a equip that allows him to attack directly but only if he doesn't have any other equips on him? will comment more as more cards are put up
SP0RE
Oh, I would like to say the current most well supported monster, (If you count support as things that affect a category he fulfils) is... Archfiend of Nefarious He's benefited by, Archfiend Support, Earth Support, Beast Support, Level 2 and lower support, Level 4 and lower support, Less than 500 ATK support Vanilla Support That's a lot of support cards! Currently, the card in the TCG with the most number of specific support cards is "Dark Magician" (Thousand Knives, Dark Eradicator Warlock, etc.), with his current count of sixteen. It'll be a tough number to beat... but I plan to stick to this, as long as there's a steady stream of comments, and people who are interested.
