aussj4link
I need some suggestions on my Exodia deck that I've been altering. Let me know what you guys think, its based around Appropriate. Monsters: 26 5x Exodia Cards 1x A Cat of Ill Omen - Help ensure I get Appropriate or if I need a Dark Bribe or something. 3x Emissary of the Afterlife 1x Sangan 2x Cyber Valley - Love this card, has many uses, almost never do I not have a use for it. 1x Gemini Imps - It's always nice if I have this and my opponent plays a forceful discard effect on me. 3x Nimble Momonga - It gives me health and slims the deck, though I'm all for suggestions on replacements. 3x Peten the Dark Clown 1x Battle Fader 3x Destiny Hero - Defender 2x Chainsaw Insect 1x Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord - Okay, the reason for this is purely backup. In my experience running an Exodia deck I have found that no matter how hard I try to prevent my pieces from going to the graveyard sometimes I am just unable to and end up having to give up because too many pieces have been discarded. This card is purely for the event I have no way to win with Exodia anymore. Spells: 6 1x Cup of Ace - Don't want too many effects based on chance so just one will do. 3x Dark World Dealings - This is used in conjunction with Appropriate. 2x Hand Destruction - This is used the same way as Dark World Dealing except with 2 cards Traps: 8 3x Appropriate 1x Gravity Bind 1x Defense Draw 3x Dark Bribe _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I noticed this deck doesn't have much stopping power, I have yet to try this deck out but it feels like I will have hell staying alive long enough with this deck, any suggestions would be very much appreciated, thanks

magician lily
I's been awhile since i built a strong deck. Teaching some new players to the game. Try ways to stall your enemy. Some good ways to do this are chorus of sanctuary, Level Limit area B. Next is your draw power. Try things like jar of greed and upstart goblin. Cards like these are great in this format of deck. Giant Mushroom?
Usualy i see exodia OTK decks, based on drawing your entire deck in one turn. heres what i like to use: Monsters (38) x5 Exodia pieces and stuff x3 of a ton of different normal monsters with 2000 or more attack or defence. and mabye add a couple tune warrior just incase you wanna synchro summon. (its best to add level 4 normal monsters then you can synchro with tune warrior and the level 4 (3+4 = 7) and you can get an ancient fairy dragon to help you set even more monsters) Spells (2) x2 Heart of the underdog The point is to get a heart of the underdog and draw your entire deck and game. (it might be a 2 or 3 turn kill if your unlucky)
~Kefka~
Sangan Abuse Monsters: 16 x5 Exodia Peices x3 Emmisary of Afterlife x3 Tomato x3 Arma Knight x1 Sangan x1 DAD (alternate win condition) Spells: 17 x3 Pot of Duality (if you can't afford....) Dark World Dealings x3 Upstart x3 Dark Factory x2 Hand Destruction x2 Gold Sarc x2 Dark Eruption x1 Dark Hole x1 Monster Reborn Traps: 7 x3 Regretful Rebirth x2 Miracle's Wake x1 Torrental x1 CotH Total: 40 Extra deck: not needed this build is very consistant and while it's not FTK, it's still competetive and fun to play
